Very quaint little place. Nice pond with a covered pier. Nice gazebo. Good place to just have lunch or let your kids play.

Great park with slides, swings, and best of all a lake. I docked it a star, because the rims were removed from the basketball backboards.

We took our 2 boys here to play at the park and have fun but it was so trashed we were afraid they were going to get hurt or something.

I picked up lots of trash and caught 0 fish..

Minimal playground equipment, trash all over, wild water fowl, dock, and pretty (although small) woods. Apparently, this area hasnt invested in playground equipment in awhile. What they had seemed alright, just older. There are 2 swings, a baby swing, and one climbing fort with 3 short slides. There are little pebbles in the play areas, so be sure to put tennis shoes (not slip ons) on the little ones to avoid emptying their shoes every 5 minutes. Ill take gloves next time to try cleaning up the loose trash. There is a pretty pond/ creek here.

Nice park, but followed by a cop. Dont know why, they are just sitting at the entrance now. Much bigger park with a lake view and playground.

Its not so great for catching fish. But its relaxing just to sit out by the water.

The fishing is tough. Litter is bad. Most patrons are gross and inconsiderate. But for some reason I keep going back.

Nice park. Plenty of clean areas to fish. Caught a couple of nice sized Catfish. Bream are little babies though lol!!!

I grew up riding my bike to this park with my friends.... Now i enjoy taking my kids there talking to them about my childhood and giving them a chance to experience the park also!

I go often and just sit reflecting on the times. it is peaceful and brings me close to my son whom pasted away last August.

Beautiful little lake with a small park area and a dock leading over the water. Great fishing but watch out for submerged debris, TONS of stuff to get hung up on and lose your tackle. Topwater does awesome here anyways so I mainly stick to that. Also, its not in the greatest of neighborhoods so be cautious with your belongings and your vehicle. Its not In the hood or anything but theres a reason the park closes at sundown.

Looks like the entire neighborhood dumps their trash there. Fishing is good if you dont mind catching the occasional tricycle or mattress spring

As a mother of a small child I want to let other mothers with children know about my experience with this park. There is a small paved parking lot surrounded by trees and a pretty lake. But the swings looked old and dingy, the basketball court was a bit unkempt, and the picnicing areas that everyone talks about is less abundant than it is made to seem. But what I really want to talk about is the play structure. It is petite, to say the least. It has a few small slides and that is about it. But the pea gravel that surrounds it is the worst. My daughters shoes were full of the stuff, and she didnt want to stay and play because of it.Overall it is a pretty place, but I was very disappointed and would not bring my young daughter back.

Everyone who lives lakeside and visitors alike use the lake as a refuse container. Every time I cast out and reeled back, I had hooked trash instead of anything worthy of keeping. I took the time to pick up the garbage beside the garbage can where it looked as though someone had missed the mark. You should always leave a place better than it was when you got there. Should be a park curfew as with other parks to keep people from over fishing/fishing out the fish, it is a stock pond that the AGFC supplies, which means there is a limit. Had a couple yesterday that were determined to drop their MasterCraft boat into the lake despite the posting of NO OUTBOARD MOTORS right where they were about to drop. This is not the same place I grew up next to on Cottonwood St..

Park that is truly for every member of the family. Theres a playground and swingset for young kids, a basketball court, a fishing pier, and a shaded picnic bench area. Being so close to the lake gives it a beautiful view. Reading a book would be so peaceful here, especially because its not very crowded.

Clean, decent space to walk the dogs. There are no public bathrooms. Small playscape and a few swings. The open space is a well-kept wooded area that is bordered by a small lake.

This park needs more equipment for the kids but its ok

Has paved parking, a long fishing dock, and childrens play area. Has a few other access points to the lake from nearby streets and a rock road, all on the East side of the lake. One volunteer trail from the South end of the lake across from a paved drainage area that goes about 100 yards up the lower West side of the lake. No prepared trails at or around the lake.
