Very poorly maintained trail. Probably hasnt been touched at all this year. Still out was easy to follow the trail even though there trail itself is challanging due to its rough condition.

The east side was beautiful. Unfortunately the west side is closed at this time.

This is a nice 1.7 to 2 mile hike to the dead end. Concrete to start out, suspension bridge, benches, nice & shady, up and down curvy trail. Dusty. Can be hiked or biked! Id say mildly moderate trail.

Nestled near the heart of Shelby is a pretty nice trail. It also links up with Ingles supermarket on Highway 74 West. Good for walking, running, and just being in nature.

Almost fell off the train tracks to my death. 10/10 Would Recommend. The trails are really nice, and looked kept up. People come and go often but you dont see a large amount of people hiking and riding their bikes on the trails. I am currently sitting on a grey bench listening to the water rush down the stream. It is a very peaceful trail behind the Ingles of West Dixon Boulevard. The trail used to have gravel, but dirt and leaves over time have covered it. It is soft and nice to walk and ride on. There is a lot of greenery and there is a cool swing bridge over the creek. Families come here with their kids and people with their dogs. You should come.

Great New Trail with lots of potential. Nice place to walk the dogs since traffic is still at a minimum....Im sure that will change as more people discover it. Love the suspended bridge. Nice job Thread trail builders! More building sure to follow after canoe launch is completed and hopefully restroom facilities are next on agenda. Also would make a great Hot Air Balloon launch area or future festival site!

Not too far for most people. Runners probably will take a couple laps. Keep in mind you can run/walk across the parking lot and run the trail up to the road. Thats another mile, at least.

This walking trail was pretty much wiped out by flash floods back in March, and the city has closed the trail with no maintenance being done to it whatsoever. While part of the trail is accessible from Ingles two bridges have been destroyed and the trail itself is rapidly being grown over by plants.
