Easy to get to and a nice walk. Some parts of the trail are more of a path than a trail buttnit still works. Could likely be flooded rather easy in some spots at times. You can also get to the reservoir from this trail and walk along that trail, which we also did. Will likely become a regular stop for us.

This is a good place to go walking. There are always people on the path around the perimeter of the reservoir. It is 1.25 miles around, and they have it marked off in 1/4 mile increments. There are half a dozen benches or so scattered evenly around for those who want to stop and take a little break. the pavement is starting to swell in places, so watch your step and dont trip.

Favorite place to walk our dog.. just way too many lazy people that dont clean up their dogs messes!!!

Great fishing!! Alot of walkers and dog walkers on the track around the resiviour. But, everyone was nice. Stopping to chat and waiting while poles were cast.

Nice paved walking trail around the outside. Theres an eagle that nests there youll see occasionally. Decent fishing. Gets windy allot of times.

Much larger than other reservoirs in Shelby. Scenic with more interesting areas for photography or any outdoor activities. I have spotted Bald eagles at this location.
