Wonderful gem for the airplane enthusiast!Plenty of panels and items to view and read. The airplane collection is impressive. Several flyable warbirds and lots of planes in various conditions. Intriguing collection of sections or parts of airframe and engines. Special shout out to Mark the volunteer for the great discussion.

If you like Aviation history especially Tennessee related items. You will greatly enjoy this hidden gem. Just slightly outside of downtown Sevierville sitting inside a hanger on top of a hill at the airport. Is a well layed out aviation history display. Of Tennessee and US Air Force Womens Air Corps and and a great number of other branches of service. Do yourself a favor and take your time at the display cases and read the history. The main hanger contains a number of WW2 aircraft plus some nice Hollywood props displays. With Veteran volunteers onsite to answer any questions you may have. The museum was clean, well maintained with restrooms. The museum is practicing Covid19 rules . Nice place to enjoy next time you want to explore up in Sevierville..

Very nice museum and my family was lucky enough to have volunteer Jerry with us providing behind the scenes information. We enjoyed all the displays and of course, the aircraft in the hangar. The Albatross was enormous and seeing the MiGs in great shape was a treat. It was rainy when we went so a very informative place to go on a cold or wet day or even when it gets hot out during the summer.

Wasnt expecting to find an awesome aviation museum this trip, but I did and I loved it. Its a bit smaller than some museums, but what it offers makes up for it. 2 airworthy P-47Ds, an airworthy Skyraider, an airworthy P-51D, and other flight worthy planes along with some excellent static displays like the 3 MiGs. This isnt the biggest aviation museum Ive been to but it is well laid out. It was surprising that the first thing I saw was a navy vessel and there was quite a bit on the chaplain military service. When you get out into the hangar be sure to spend some time with Jerry and Mel. They were both pilots and have some stories to tell if you take the time. Be sure and ask Jerry about flying his first helicopter.
