They lie about regular street cars making it. You must be an exceptional driver and you will still be forced to turn around. The bottom of your car will hit rocks. I got stuck on one for a moment. Its rough, rocky with a couple sandy parts. But the scenery is eye-popping, jaw-dropping and a photographers paradise.
Great view of all the fake wanna bes in Sedona. You can see the glow of their crystals from here. Great off road trail. Dont take your Honda or Volvo on it. Keep those at the Mall
Beautiful place for sunset, not very crowded for a Saturday evening
Spectacular hiking destination with stunning views and a backcountry feel just minutes from downtown Sedona. Would be a perfect place to hike if not for traffic and road noise.
Worth checking out for the great view of Sedona and the red rocks!
Great hike on the Hangover Trail
Beautiful overlook with great views of the red rocks!
This point was beautiful but we didnt get to do all the way up due to weather conditions since the road cuts off and becomes a dirt drive with lots of bumps and rocks. Youd need good tires and a 4 wheel drive or go on a jeep tour.
Great run destination and nice views of Oak Creak Canyon and Sedona in the distance.
Wish I had more time to actually go directly to the observation site but did get to see a bit of the base/back part of it. Went twice to the base and never seemed too crowded. You have to have a 4x4 vehicle or the like to go up the trail. Or you can walk. You can access the observation site quickest that way or use Mund’s trail just steps away for the exclusive walking trail. You have to have a pass to park in the parking lot (Mund’s trail parking lot) which you can get at nearby gas stations or you can get it right on site at the parking lot. There are some parking lots in the area that require a parking pass.
Exhilarating
