$11 to get in and spent a lovely, peaceful birthday there. Oak trees were just changing to a brilliant gold which made for beautiful pictures. But what happened to all the rock cairns that were always there? Lots of places to just sit and admire the beautiful scenery which changes as you walk along the path. Several picnic tables and a couple of bathrooms (no running water but they were kept clean) as well as benches here and there with plenty of places to dip you feet in the water made for a really nice day.

Awesome place to visit and hike along the stream as far as your feet can take you. Quite busy with locals and tourists alike, but still worth the drive and hike. Water a bit cold for the Florida blood but on a hot day worth diving into. Just make sure to bring water attire.

Views were great and water refreshing. It is a VERY small area no matter where you hike to. A bit crowded for my taste during Covid but overall a good spot.

Beautiful swimming hole with a perfect view of the bride & groom in the center of Cathedral Rock. Bring water hiking shoes so you dont slip on the mossy rocks. $11 to park or park .5 mile down for free and walk in (but very little space on side of road to walk) for $2 per person.

I went twice in less than a month. Each time I payed $11 per vehicle to get in if you have the chance to do so. It’s $2 walking in. I had to park by the hill side road of Cesar Chavez. Before that I unloaded my things in front of the entrance and parked my vehicle. Once inside the creek is awesome people are inside with propane grills and swimming. It is super slippery and the water is cold in the last days of June early August. I had fun though plenty of picnic tables outside with very little shade. My family loved it. My wife had a blast we had a chance to be alone and enjoy our company. Staff are nice easy going. Thank you Jim and John plus that lady in the window taking the money.

Awesome place for families, couples, friends, or solo adventurers. Plenty of shade and the water is super cold so its a great place to retreat in the summer time. The creek has various sized rocks and pebbles lining the floor and some patches the rocks are covered in moss so Id recommend water shoes for maximum comfort.

We spent a couple hours here. We spent our time at the creek. It was a refreshing place to swim and let the kids play in the water. Water shoes are an absolute must. Also some parts of the creek can be unexpectedly deep with some rapid like water. You will need a life jacket if your child is not a strong swimmer.

Today their was no waiting in a long line of cars so of course it is recommended you get here before 11-12. It was truly cold about 50 but we didnt mind at all because the place was not packed with people. Had plenty of snacks and water. The snow is still melting higher up so it seemed as if we were walking along rapids. Kids enjoyed it . Visited on a Wednesday. $10 entry fee.

Excellent little spot to take in the views of Cathedral rock and go for a little hike. Has restrooms and picnic spots as well as large open are for the kids or family to play. Hike a bit and find all sorts of fun stuff and excellent areas to dip your feet in the water and relax. Bring lots of water in the summer. Even though its cooler than Phoenix its still hot and you dehydrate quickly.

Great spot for field trips, picnics, great view of Cathedral Rock, Oak Creek runs near south side of ranch. Many photo opportunities! Like most places in Sedona non-flushing toilets no sink to wash hands so might want to bring hand sanitizer, the one in the bathrooms were empty during our visit in January. You will find out from the many souvenir shops that the area near the Oak Creek with Cathedral rock in background is one of the most photographed spots.

We went there having read that good pictures of the red rocks could be taken there. Jamie, at the entrance gate gave us detailed directions to the first wonderful spot. Then, a ranger, Mark, appeared in a cart and offered several more perfect locations. Later he saw us on the path and asked if we had gotten what we wanted. Then he reminded us to come back at sunset for outstanding photos. He was right! We were so successful today because of these two special people!
