It would be difficult to find a better dog park than this one. In addition to very nicely appointed regular and small dog sections, theres an additional wilderness section where you can go climb around on a fenced-in wild hill area. Entrances are double-gated to keep our beloved pooches from slipping out when visitors come and go. This is a great place for adults and older children to come with their dogs. I suggest caution with small children. They could get knocked over by exuberant happy dogs.
Nice park! It had lots of shade, dog bowls for drinking water, tennis balls, a doggy pool complete with a water hose. The dog park also has split areas for smaller or larger dogs, one of which is on a hill and more like hiking terrain. We had the park to ourselves when we went at about 1:30 pm on Monday, July 13, 2020. Weather wasnt bad. This place has a lovely backdrop and scenic view of Sedona. We loved it here!
This is my favorite dog park it has a small fenced in trail with a wood bench to look at the view,, another area for all small and old dogs and then ANOTHER area for the dogs to play the scenery is so B E A U TIFUL great job with this one. So only con is there is only 6 parking available and if you dont know where it is you wouldnt find it
Great place to go off lease and meet other friendly dog owners.
This place is amazing!! Outstanding views. Great fenced off space w some shady spots and a shade shelter too. Water bowls and balls, and primarily the FANTASTIC view!! There is also a nice little walking trail that is awesome!
Definitely one of the nicest dog parks I have been to. You wont be disappointed. Your furry pals will get dirty, but they do have wash stations. There are three areas...one for small and older dogs, one for the rowdy dogs, and one for the adventure dogs that li hmmm e the rocky terrain.
Our poochie has a blast running in the large, well-maintained main area, and searching for us in the hilly terrain area. Were very impressed with this park, which also includes lots of water, seats, drinking fountains, and shade. Would recommend to any dog owners coming through, or living in the Sedona area.
Best dog park I have ever been to. There are 3 different fenced off areas for dogs to enjoy and all 3 are large and well maintained.
Really enjoyable, there is a fenced in mini hiking trail that is super nice and fun for the puppers!
Very nice. I Just wish it had more grass for the dogs to run in and play fetch.
I wish more then anything I could rate this a 5, but I have small dogs. True there is a separate area for large and small dogs, but obviously all the effort and money has been put into the large dog area-which is pretty amazing, well cared for and landscape so nicely. Little dog area, however, is sad and more like an after thought. Its small, no real room for little dogs to run or play. Looks like the small dog area has all the drains and electrical for the whole dog area. The view is amazing though, but we wont be back, sadly.
We travel full time in an RV from coast to coast, this is ours & the dogs favorite park in the USA ! The 3 different types of parks & features have not been in any other dog park . Thank You Sedona !
Better parking lot for going to trail farther down the road.
Greatest dog park ever
Jax had fun running with the other dogs.
Three areas, all fenced. Easy to find. Parking is free. Great views. Water pad. Sun shades. Friendly locals and dogs. Well maintained.
Beautiful park. Great people and other dogs. Lots of space and views are amazing.
Great dog park and Tiny training Trail was cute too. Water available for pets as well as a small puppy pool could use a little more shade but think this park is new and for five years the trees will go enough to provide more shade for large dogs. Otherwise beautiful Park
This place is amazing! Lots of toys and space for the pups to run
Gorgeous park and lots of space to play
Without a doubt the BEST dog park I have ever seen! Well maintained, outstanding amenities, a main play area, small dog area, even an enclosed hiking area, with several trails directly outside the park as well.
I loved being able to hang out here with my dog while visiting Sedona.
I like that they have a kiddie pool with water available. Could use a little more shade. Cant beat the view.
Sickest dog park Ive ever been to. 3 sections, one for little pups, one for general pups and then one with terrain. Kiddie pools, tennis balls, toys. Shady spots to sit.
Well equipped, fenced dog park with separate areas for small pooches and large dogs. Includes large fenced in area with trails for off-leach exploring. Water and toys in park and chairs in shade for tired walkers. An exceptional dog facility!
Nice place to stop. My dog loved to get out and run and enjoy this park.
This place is wonderful. They have two dog areas, one for small/older dogs and another for big dogs. They also have a fenced in hiking area which is a great place to practice off leash hiking with your dog.
Awesome dog park, lots of room to run, play and explore... fenced areas for different dog types
Beautiful dog park, they have a hiking park where it is fenced in but more natural terrain for your pupper to explore
Beautiful views and has a great hiking area for dogs.
Good, great scenery.
Its okay. The place looks fairly large if youre the only ones there, but it gets really small very quickly if even a half-dozen other large dogs are playing together at the same time. The separate area for small or older dogs is very small and theres not much to do. The best thing about the park is the adjacent Sunrise Trail, which is a wide, flat, easy walk that runs north to south for about half a mile. Even though its not off-leash, its a good place to burn off some energy if the parks not a great option. The trail is especially dazzling at sunrise. Just be on the lookout for the feral javelinas that roam the upper Carruth Trail and keep your dog away from them. Theyll stay away if not provoked.
Dogs have their own expensive real estate with million dollar views all around. There is even a hiking section to see how your dog might behave while hiking off leash. Park also has a small/shy dog section. Very nicely done.
Nicest dog park I’ve ever been too. Loved the section for the larger dogs and smaller dogs, as well as older dogs. Very considerate. The wilderness section was awesome and even the other sections had plenty of toys, shade and water!
Well-kept space with a beautiful view for you and your pup.
It is a very nice dog park with large rocks and a small area of artificial grass. There are places for the dogs to get water. They supply doggie bags and trash bins. The people I met were very nice and had large, well-mannered dogs. There is a large dirt and gravel area for dogs to run. The views of the mountains from the park are spectacular.
This is a great place to take your dog. There is a flat area for dogs to run and play and a rustic hiking area for your dog to explore. Not everyone has a rock-free yard with a fence for their dog in this area so the park is a wonderful getaway.
What an incredible place to take your furbabies. They have everything you could ever want, even a closed off hiking area for you and your dogs.
Clean, dirt area seperate. Otherwise grassy and well kept. Friendly dog people. Its not real large.
Great place to take your dog(s). Large play area, smaller area for small/older dogs and hiking trails nearby. Water and poo bags on site as well as a covered picnic table.
Great off leash park. Lots of toys, shade, tables and chairs. Lots of water and small pools. 2 separated areas for large and small dogs. Very clean with a artificial grass area as well. Will for sure return when in town. Thank you Sedona.
Best dog park I have ever been too! Hands down. It is actually a bit insane the incredible features and dog runs available. One of the best views in Sedona, no kidding.
A nice clean and diverse dog park with plenty of seating, dog toys, and water. In fact, there are three areas, one for smaller and older dogs which has some nice hills and terrain to it, another main area, and then a large hiking area that is well fenced in with lots to explore.
Nice little park! Has plenty of toys for pups and chairs for humans, and poo bags are provided. One main area for all dogs and a smaller area for small/old dogs. Doesnt have real grass but we are in the desert here, so lush grass would be quite the luxurious waste of water. Very nice backdrop, of course!
Fun little dog park with amazing views. Smaller side to separate old and little dogs from the general population. Pick up your poop people.
The most beautiful dog park weve ever visited! And the off leash hiking area was fun for us and the doggos
Nice and clean friendly people. Small dog area big dog area and another third area.
Huge park equipped with ropes, balls, and Frisbees. Separate sections for senior/small dogs and a hilly forested area. Even after it rains the main park isnt super muddy, so its great to go to anytime. My pup loves it here!
Friendly pups and very pretty setting!
Great dog park. Separate entrances for small and large dogs. They have water fountains.
Lovely views here with lots of places to sit. There is a grass area, a hiking area, shaded table area, and a water area with a few kiddy pools. Very clean with many toys and features for dogs to enjoy. The view makes this dog park truly enjoyable to spend time in
Great dog park with the best view. It even has an enclosed trail!
Great park. Nice locals and there is a huge fenced off area of wilderness!
Great dog park very clean and nice
I have never seen such a view from a dog park! This dog park is great for your pup and you get to enjoy the rocks while they play. The park is mostly dirt and a small portion that is astroturf. They provide a small kiddie pool to fill with water and plenty of shaded seating for the owners.
The most amazing dog park I’ve ever been to. Hands down. The bad reviews seem to be from disgruntled locals who seem upset about not quite sure what exactly, but if you are from out of town, you’ll most likely be blown away by this park too. It’s beautiful, clean, has an off-leash and fully fenced hiking area that dogs love. Good job Sedona Dog Park!
This was a very unique park and quite enjoyable. The one thing that grosses me out about every park is the water fountain. It is NASTY. There is no way to keep something like that clean I guess, but ugh! It would be a better option the just have a faucet so people can refill their own water bowls. The dogs had fun being able to explore off leash in a new place and got sufficiently dirty and thats what counts.
Best dog park ever! The rear portion makes it feel like you and your pooches are right in the Sedona beauty.
Excellent park. Lots of room to run. Some people dont pick up after their pets.
Cool place...awesome scenery!
My Girlz love it there, especially the trail area
Fun place for dogs to run around.
Delighted Sedona has a place like this for my dog to go to! Great remodel in November. Problems with the red rock dust that the dogs run in....not good for anyone to breathe hopefully they will correct this
Lots of space to run and have fun with other dogs
Actually a pretty phenomenal dog park. Has a normal open area and a fenced vegetation area for dogs that love to roam.
Hot day, my pup loved the hose and kiddy/canine pool. And the shady spots! Nicely maintained. Thank You
Beautiful view, tons of seating and shade, good amount of space
Very beautiful dog park
This absolutely is the best dog park that I have ever been to In My Life! It has three separate fence sections. It has lots and lots of room for big dogs like ours to run and run! There is lots of beautiful scenery at this park in looking out at the surrounding mountains in Sedona. There is also a fenced-in forested area for the dogs to run in and around trees and rocks and cactuses. There also doesnt seem to be a lot of traffic there during the week, so your dogs can have a good time.
I used to be a regular at this park and now I wont go there. Visitors like it because the views are nice, but it pretty much sucks for the dogs. The regulars dont pick up after their dogs, so the place is dirty. There is no grass, just dirt, and it seems to be a haven for dog owners that dont train their dogs. I have been bitten once and my dog has been attacked multiple times.
Great place to take your dog to run and play with other dogs.
The coolest dog park I have been to. The local very friendly as well
Next level dog park!! Amazing!
Nice, clean, plenty of room to run, big dog area, small dog area with pools, water, toys, very nice. Enjoy
Beautiful place surrounded by the red rock mountains.
The remodel of the park looks nice, but is worse than before. The off trail area where thebig dogs had before is now fenced off for small dogs only. Its also where they moved the water source, where you have to go around the fence to get water. Astro turf in the big dog area is a bad idea too in my opinion. Itll get gross quick and destroyed in the desert environment. The planted shade trees may take 10 years before you get anymore shade there as well.
Very nice.
Nicest dog park I have ever been to
Nice clean dog park. No real grass but beautiful views
Great dog park made even better by the incredible views!.
Good place to let the furry one off the leash for a bit.
My little dog loves running with the big dogs and it always feels safe plenty of chairs shelter water and the views are spectacular.
Great little park!
Small dog park with no actual space for small dogs. The park is covered in red soil that makes all dogs look the same color after 10 minutes
Small dog area is too small and abutts a brush thorny area. no shade for pet owners in the small dog area.
Best views at a dog park! Cant imagine anywhere else could be better. Nice little trail inside the dog park, as well. Friendly folks & pets. Needs a water fountain.
Sedona has done a very nice job in providing a safe environment for people to bring their dogs. It has three areas separated and enclosed by fences to allow for open running and active play, an area for older or small dogs and an area that is more like a little hike area. All in all the city has done a great job. The only problems are the same you will see anywhere. Some owners do not clean up after their pets and others just dont care how poorly behaved their dogs are. To those owners, just a heads up, if your dog is harassing another dog by constantly humping it, knocking and holding it down and growling at it or if it is jumping up on other people as they try to put their harnesses on their dog to get it safely away from yours... Be polite. Call your dog off. If they dont come, get off of your butt and get them.
