Perfect 2.5 miles because we turned onto the AZ Sycamore to do a loop.
Nice central location for a good hike or mountain bike ride. Many trails are accessible from here, and many loops can start and end from this trailhead
No tourist.
Dawa trail splits a short ways in. The left fork heads to Dry Creek, which was running after weeks of heavy winter rain. Not much for views, although you can occasionally see Greyback. Mostly cedar, live oak, until near the creek you start to see Arizona Cypress. A trail by that name runs along the creek to the east.
