Took kids down to the river from here. Super nice and quiet. Great place for a swim

Slide rock overflown, found this spot. On a Thursday, plenty of parking, picnic areas available. Fee is easy to buy ($5) and can be reused elsewhere through the day. Plenty of water, one portable bathroom. Very clean considering how many people visited throughout the week/weekend.

We found a trail to lead us down to the creek. It was a little steep, but we had the whole place to our selfs! It was perfect place to stop for a picnic lunch.

A great spot that my family and I did some hiking and even jumping in the creek for a swim. Highly recommended alternative to Slide Rock.

Two words. Freaking amazing. Found this spot while trying to get away from gentrified Flagstaff. Stopped to cook some lunch up and found a route everyone was taking down to the river. The path is slightly treacherous but the pool at the bottom makes for perfect summer swimming.Do note that you cannot park on the side of the road and must park in the designated area. State troopers are patrolling and will give you a ticket/tow your car.

Can we all just be more responsible? Thats why we have to have redrock passes to pay people to now clean up after slobs. Its lame and dirty.

You have to pay 5 dollars for the day pass to park there and you can use your cc at the pay station there. Theres picnic tables and grills but as of right now now there are no open fires. The path to the river is kinda of steep and slippery but its a doable trail. Once you get to the river you go left and theres a spot for jumping and to the right is a bit slower. The rocks are slippery so walk careful in the water. Have fun because I did.

Found this great spot one day when we couldnt get into Slide Rock because it was at capacity due to Covid. There are also a bunch of picnic tables and shallow pools of slow moving water. $5 to park all day.

They closed one hour before it was posted, they charged automatically gratuity to your take-out order, not the traditional mexican flavor on the food, there was not garnish with my pozole, it is really expensive, too
