Awesome trip! Worth the cost. Great tour of old Florida, you wont get a better ride and tour guide. We saw tons of birds, turtles, gators, turkey and deer all in one trip. The ride was pleasent and our tour guide John took great care of us. We took 4 young kids under 8 and they absolutely loved it! We highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Highlands County!

Loved this ride! Informative and beautiful. The driver was a good looking friendly man that was very level headed and definitely aimed to please his guest. The place looks sketchy at best when you pull in but go! Totally my favorite REAL FLORIDA adventure. Pick a warm time if you want to see gators.

Wonderful trip. Very informative guide. Saw the shoe billed bird as well as the regular wildlife of cranes, gators, hawks, eagles, flamingos, turtles, etc. We got to go to some little traveled areas as we came a short time after hurricane Irma. Very nice ride. Thanks for the memories.

Amazing views! Our guide was fantastic. He made the tour so much fun. Even if you dont see many gators, the ride alone is a beautiful one If you appreciate what nature has to offer.Will definitely do this tour again when we visit.Our 8 year old loved every minute of this 90 minute ride.

The guide was great. I should have gotten his name. The weather was perfect. Several smaller-medium gators, an eagle, a deer, lots of egrets and herons. It was pretty neat where he can go with the boat. The boat was a little loud but earphones were provided.

Great ride.....if he shows up! Had a time scheduled and was in contact, then showed up for the ride and he was no where to be found!! Tried calling and messaging to no avail. Awful way to do business! If cancellation due to weather notification would be nice!!

Exciting and fun. Worth the drive to the Sebring/Lorida area. Weve taken airboat tours at Everglades City and Myakka, but this one is the best!

I am from South Florida and have experienced many airboat rides. This was a picturesque, safe and very enjoyable excursion. John is an excellent operator. This is not a short trip. You get your moneys worth.

Had a blast on this airboat ride! Tour guide could customize your tour based on what you want to see and how you want to ride. He did a little land surfing for an adventure! We would definitely recommend, bring cash no credit cards!

Tried the tour while visiting family in the area. Great, unique way for our family to tour this part of Florida. Our guide was apologetic because we didn’t see many alligators due to summer heat, but we still saw 10+ during the trip. Lots of other great animals and scenery. Guide was nice, knowledgeable, and did his best to make it a special experience. We will definitely return if we are ever back in the area.

John the owner and captain was awsome very informative. We saw close to 15 gators and tons of turtles. The ride is very scenic. Will do it again. Note you need reservations and cash only.

Captain John was fantastic. We appreciated the narrated information and funny stories about the area just as much as the beautiful wildlife-including huge gators. The boat has unbelievable capacity, it’s an incredible experience to be out on that water with John. It was exciting yet we felt safe at the same time. We could not recommend this place any more. First class operation all the way. Plus his experience sets him above the competition. I always enjoy working with somebody that loves what they do and that’s John.

What a great experience. If you want to see the true beauty of Floridas heartland then you have to book a trip with John and Airboat Wildlife Adventures. Although, as some have mentioned, the location is a an old fish camp and bar that is like going back to the 70s there is nothing to fear. Everyone is super friendly and John, the airboat driver and guide is really an articulate and funny guy. We went in the evening and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area and all the wildlife. Many times these types of things are just tourist attractions that feel choreographed but not here. John really goes out of his way to insure that you get your monies worth. Its well worth the time and I highly recommend that if your ever in the area you take an airboat ride with John and Airboat Wildlife Adventures.

OMG! Loved this. Rustic, friendly bar and a scenic, exciting ride skimming over waterlilies, pointing out alligators and turtles, gorgeous scenery with trees heavy with dripping Spanish moss. Owner and operator John has an easy sense of humor and takes pride in giving his guests a nice boat ride.

Jon and his airboat are the perfect combination for showing off everything the lake and creek have to offer. We saw such a wide variety of animals. Birds, Turkeys with their young, deer, and gators, also with their young. Not to be missed are also the majestic oaks and cypress tress when the creek is high enough. Normally in the summer during the rainy season. The air smelled of cypress! Dont worry about being too hot. The breeze will cool you off. You wont get wet. Even with the thrills. Tour guide was friendly, kids had a blast. Saw a bunch of wildlife (baby Gators, wild turkey, turtle, tons of birds). Did a tour of the lake and some canal ways.

Solid guy. Very friendly. Our trip was interrupted by a sudden summer shower after about 25 minutes and he didnt charge us anything. He had ear protection and life jackets ready. What we were able to experience was great. Well definitely go back soon.

It is based out of a small bar and tackle shop but everyone was extremely friendly, and the ride was awesome. We drove down from Orlando to go, and it was definitely worth the extra couple of miles to get there. The swamp area was gorgeous and we got to go up the river in the other direction which had more trees. Lots of fun, my two year old niece talked about the alligators for hours after.

The camping part was nice its what i do the area was soso trash in the ground i picked up as much as i can i filled up 1 trash can, but thete was alot more, some people dont care about nature.
