A hidden gem tucked away in the trees, very knowledgeable staff and loads of history. A stop at this museum will give you a better appreciation of the park by providing a wonderful historic context that just cant be found anywhere else.

What a wonderful place! You see evidence of the CCCs work throughout the US, but Ive never seen so much information on the group itself as I did here. Free entry with your park admission, and it is absolutely worth your time. Friendly staff, excellent displays, and abundant details about the CCC, its work at Highlands Hammock, other Florida state parks, and elsewhere in the country.
