Best escape room experience weve ever had. Puzzles were so clever and fun and well-suited to the theme. Not just a bunch of random locks and riddles. Alex was wonderful and did a great job getting into character and helping us when needed. Really fun place. Worth the money!

My girlfriend and I both went to The Escape Artist not sure of what to expect. It was our first escape room, and we chose the one with the lowest success rate - Spell Struck. The game master was very understanding, and provided plenty of tips, encouragement, and ambiance as we entered the room. I really enjoyed the world building put into the scenario, from the website, the prologue before entering the room, and the walk to the room itself helped me get into the world The Escape Artist was trying to make.The room itself had just the right amount of detail for immersion, without cluttering the room, and we were able to figure out a few of the puzzles ourselves, with the option to ask for help. Tip for those new to puzzle rooms - ask for help! There were a couple mechanical hiccups, but we were given back the time used fixing the issue.The end of the room was a satisfying, thematic conclusion to a great puzzle that left my girlfriend and I walking away satisfied with ourselves, each other, and with our choice to get locked in a spooky cabin together. We look forward to our next trip to The Escape Artist.

The Spell Struck room at The Escape Artist was a really fun experience. The magic theme was well-executed in every decoration and puzzle. Since I visited during COVID, Ill add that I felt safe and comfortable in how they handled cleanliness and safety guidelines.A friend gave my partner and me a gift card and it was truly a great gift. Now Im keeping The Escape Artist in mind as a gift I can share with other friends -- its a unique, fun experience that makes for a great night out.

This is the 2nd year my daughter celebrated her birthday at The Escape Artist. Theyve been wonderful and always delivered on a fabulous experience. Even accommodating an earlier start time Thank You. We cant wait to be back!

This was our first experience with an escape room and we were not disappointed. We did the space themed room and the kid in me was pretty stoked they had space suits for us to wear. It was definitely challenging, but not impossible. Honestly, I dont think we would have completed it if not for some of our friends that came and the new friends we made that were paired with us. Were all looking forward to going back and trying the 13th Floor room next time.

This was the first time me and a few of my friends went to an escape room and the girls there that where in charge of the whole thing where super nice and great overall, the puzzles where fun not to easy not to difficult, and we managed to get out just in time which was a great bonus. Planning to come back and try out another room for my friends birthday.

I’ve played three of the rooms at The Escape Artist now, and none have disappointed! The staff are always engaging, and have always made me feel very welcomed. Very approachable puzzles and fun storylines to grasp to. I most recently played Dive to Atlantis, and it contained some really unique components I’ve never seen before! I should mention that I’m just a few rooms shy of a hundred now, so I definitely have a bit of context to that opinion. Highly recommend!

My first escape room. We did it as a birthday activity and it was very memorable. Great puzzles and staff was fantastic. Loved the warm up puzzle even before you go into your room. We did Trapped in Space and escaped with 3 minutes to spare! Everyone in our group loved it. We will be back to try a different room.

Game master Alex is the best there ever was, the best there is and the best that ever will be!!! She was attentive and helpful from the first step into the lobby. My friends and I had an amazingly fun night of laughter and mystery. Alex submerges us in the experience with a great role play at the start. We will definitely be back to try and conquer the rest

First time escaping! Seriously had the best time. Was evem more than I expected! Well designed room that definitely kept us on our toes. Our guide had the most energetic personality and was just the help we needed exactly at the right time! Will be doing this again soon!

Really loved the experience. My husband told me they have a 40% success rate and we happened to be in that 40% I love mysteries and puzzles and this was like putting everything I love about both together. I had never done and escape room before but I absolutely loved it. There were 3 rooms total we moved through.

We had a party of 7 and completed The Dive to Atlantis! It was a unique experience in that the whole room shook as part of the story which really added to the experience! My family and I had a great time and the stuff was incredibly helpful as well.I would definitely consider going here again in the future!

This was my fifth escape room in Washington, and one of my favorite ones. The full motion really adds to the experience. The puzzles were very creative. Challenging, but not impossible. I will be back for more!

This was my first escape room but we had a lot of fun! We ran out of time but were so close they gave us another 5 minutes which was enough for us to finish. The setting was really creative, would love to check out their other rooms

We did the Spell Struck escape room and it was a lot of fun! The puzzles were all pretty manageable, but not too easy or obvious. I think if your group just communicates well and has a system, youll be golden. We were three people and managed to escape with about five minutes to spare.The setting was really interesting and well done too!

This was the forst escape room Ive done. It was confusing at the beginning, but after a couple of hints our group seemed to pick it up and we made some pretty decent time, although we didnt complete the whole puzzle in the time allotted. I would definitely do a escape room again. The staff was nice and helpful, and made sure we had fun.

I’ve done a number of escape rooms and these are definitely among the best! I did the Trapped in Space first and liked it so much I went back for Spell Struck. The detailing and puzzles are great, but the immersive design of the rooms mixed with the mechanics and special effects are top notch. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience at an affordable price!

Recently, I played spell struck and it is by far my favorite room I have done this far. The tech in the room is amazing and the puzzles flow together really well. I have done a few rooms at this point and went to a lot of different companies. This is their hardest room, and my group of 4 did escape with about 10 minutes left. We were all so impressed by the room, the staff, puzzles, and tech that it is still my favorite. Amy was such an amazing game master. She was so fun and friendly. Definitely will be going back to escape artist to do the rest of their rooms!

Wow! Such a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place. You can tell the staff really like getting into the stories and creating a fun experience for guests. The puzzles at this escape room are top notch and reward you every time you figure one out. Ill eventually do all the puzzles here. I went to another different escape room company and didnt have as great of an experience as I had with The Escape Artist. Super super fun!

My first escape room experience. I ran the Spellbound escape room with 5 other people (max 7, so we were down 1). I totally loved it. We solved it in about 3/4s of the total time, and used 2 clues.The puzzles were interesting, many of them are solvable simultaneously, so each participant should feel like they have something valuable to do.The production value is fantastic. It helped with indicating that a puzzle was accurately solved and added a flair that made the magic feel real.I will be going back to try the other rooms.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We did the dive into Atlantis room and it was absolutely amazing, highly recommend this venue, Im definitely going back to do the other rooms.

This was the best escape room Ive ever done. The workers were super into the role-playing part of it, and the actual escape aspects were so well thought out and exciting.

Went today for my husbands birthday and had an amazing time! This is our second escape room experience, but the first time at The Escape Artist. The game master was fun, and really made a great addition to the story. We are absolutely going to come back for another story - the puzzles fit perfectly in the story and we barely made it through!! We did the Trapped in Space story.

We did the Space Room and it was super fun! We got to wear these sweet space outfits and it took us 64 minutes to escape with a group of 6.

Ive tried 2/3 rooms here and they have both been great! The production is much better than others Ive tried and the puzzles are the perfect level of difficulty. Not too easy, but not so hard that you feel dumb. The owner really makes the experience great. You can tell how much thought and care they put into every detail. Highly recommended! Cant wait to see what additional rooms they come up with in the future!

Played The 13th Floor with friends for a birthday party - what a great idea! Completely exciting and thrilling when you work out a new hint or clue and you get it right! This room had some really cool and thoughtful elements. Cant wait to go again!

In short: interesting puzzles, cool moving room, not insanely hard, very friendly and cheerful staff.The good:1. The puzzles are diverse and the decoration of the rooms help with the immersion.2. They have an interesting offer with one moving room. I dont want to get into the details to not spoil the fun.3. The staff is very friendly and gives you a nice introduction to the story around the room youre going to try to escape from.The bad:1. The 13th floor room could have been a bit more challenging. Ive solved some (8-12 maybe) escape rooms before this one but I still believe it would make the room even more fun for complete beginners as well.2. Its a bit on the outskirts of Seattle so it takes a while to get there even if theres no traffic. Unless you live in the area of course.

We had SO much fun! Our group of 6 did spell struck and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We even beat the odds and escaped!

We came here for a work event, and did dueling rooms. The staff are very animated, fun, and bubbly which created a great environment for all of us first timers to any escape room. They were very accommodating and responsive to our email inquiry. We would recommend them to any group big or small and cant wait to do it again!

Took my parents and siblings (including skeptical father and brother) to The 13th Floor and we had a great time. The host was very gracious, even long after we failed to get through, despite our bravado. It was our first time in an Escape Room and Im certain that there will be others. The Escape Artist does an AWESOME job and I recommend!

A little expensive, and if the cost had wholly been mine to pay I might have rated it only 4 stars, but the staff at The Escape Artist provided a fun-filled evening for my girlfriend and her nephew on his 16th birthday. Much fun was had by all figuring out the traps and devices with the help of thee kind strangers in the case of 2 of our rooms. I look forward to conquering the 4th room upon its completion!

Loved it, and the staff was so friendly. We did the “Spell Struck” room and it was challenging (maybe a 30% success rate) but fun. I think people often wonder if it’s claustrophobic (it’s not) or scary like a haunted house (it’s not), but it’s really just puzzle and teamwork fun, with a subtle theme to support the various elements. In this case, it’s sort a spells / witch theme. Give it a go, it’s worth it.

This was our first experience with an escape room - and it was just as fun as we had hoped it would be. Easy to find, easy parking. When we got there the staff and host were funny and helpful, and the game was just the right amount of challenging. Overall, we cant wait to go back to try their other rooms. Played the 13th Floor with one other. It was challenging, but achievable.The Game Master, Christine, was full of personality and set the mood for a fun escape.

Amazing staff, and a selection of fantastic escape rooms! Theres even a little puzzle you can do in the lobby while youre waiting -- free chocolate awaits!If youre travelling from the East Side after work, beware of the crazy traffic. It can take upwards of an hour to get there for their 7pm rooms from the Bellevue/Redmond area.

We had a great time here! We did all 3 of the available rooms. The first one we did was the 13th Floor, and we were paired with another group, which I was nervous about, but it went really well and they were really fun! The room was really well done and I loved the elevator.Next we did Trapped in Space - this was my least favorite of the 3, but might be enjoyable for others.My favorite room by far was the Spell Struck room - we BARELY finished it in time and I was engaged and interested for the entire hour. There were always puzzles to try to solve. I think the big difference between this one and Trapped in Space was that in the Spell Struck room, I knew what I was trying to figure out, and only had to work on the figuring out part - in the space one I often didnt know what I was supposed to be doing.All 3 staff working at the location while we were there were friendly, helpful and encouraging and I would DEFINITELY recommend this experience!

This was so fun! My parents were visiting from out of town and we did the Floor 13 room with our family of 4. Everyone loved it! The room was really thoughtful in its puzzles and themes. Id 100% do this again with other friends or guests. Its easy to walk right by their location, but they are centrally located in the Junction, so you can grab food before or after.

Dope set up! I’ve done all three escape rooms and all I can say is that it’s the real deal. The set up is amazing, it feels like you’re in a movie or on a real mission. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Wish they had more rooms bc I’m pretty much addicted.

Our group of five included experienced escape room players along with a couple of first timers. We escaped with 18 minutes to spare and everyone had a blast! Great interactive experience.

This place is amazing! I was impressed by the quality, intuitiveness, and consistency of this place. The staff were absolutely fantastic and in character. My friends and I did the space room and we were blown away by how fun it was. The puzzles were simple enough for a child to figure out, but not so simple that adults wouldnt enjoy solving them. I highly recommend this escape room to families and groups of friends.

Loved this place! Especially the Spell Struck Room! Weve done about a dozen rooms and this is our all time favorite. The staff immerses you in the story line by getting into character to bring you to the room and give you the background. Weve never had as much fun in a room as we did with this one. Lots of engineering technology fun. Not just a series of locks like some rooms. Had two newbies with us. Got out with a minute to spare! Requires team work. Out of 3 states, and lots of escape rooms, this place has been our absolute favorite. 13th Floor was fun in its own right but Spell Struck is still our all time favorite. With our team, 4 people, all working on different things to get through everything in time, I would love to do it again and work on the parts I didnt get to do. It was that good! We are still talking about it weeks later. Super fun theme, not dark, just fun! I wish I could tell you more but I wouldnt want to give away too much. Loved it! Super fun!

This was my first time at an escape room, and my boyfriend and I were both skeptical, but we had a blast! We did The 13th Floor and thought the addition of motion elements was really cool. I would highly recommend this escape room. The price was also competitive with other escape rooms in the area. My only slight disappointment was that we finished the room in half an hour, which felt too quick.

Our group had a wonderful time. This was our first time experiencing this activity. Great for families and friends. You really have to use your mind which is really nice now a days. So much fun, I’d definitely recommend trying this. My kids really loved it.

So first of all just want to give a shout out to Andrew for being an amazing guy. Easily the best host Ive ever had at one of these things. Just the right amount of energy to psyche everyone up without being overbearing at all.Past that this was one of the best escape rooms Ive done. It was just the right level of difficulty for our group. We needed a couple of clues in order to beat the clock but we would have been able to get through on our own given another 30 minutes or so. We all had a blast and look forward to going back whenever they change up the scenarios.

Had a blast. Was not expecting to have others in the group but was a great experience. The staff was energetic and fun, really set the tone for the start of the puzzle.

Ive done 5 escape rooms before this one and Ive gotta say this room/experience is my favorite by a mile!Took my dad for his first experience and, despite not solving it, he had an awesome time as well.The mechanics and props in the room are really amazing. Highly recommwnd this room to anyone.

13th Floor was an amazing time! We took our 11 year old and her friend and was able to escape with their brilliant little minds.

We had a great time! We have done a half dozen or so escape rooms in the past and this was one of the better ones. Puzzles were challenging but not impossible and helpful hints when we got stuck to keep us moving along! Great time we will be returning for the other room they offer!
