Cant wait for them to be able to open their in-person rooms again but in the meantime, theyve created a magical remote version of The Vanishing Act that is so so good! Hands down, the best Zoom call weve had during lockdown! Thanks so much!
Went here for a friend’s birthday. We tried ‘The Vanishing Act’ and It was totally worth being locked in the room for. The puzzles were challenging and we were only a few minutes away from escaping. Nevertheless those 60 minutes were pure fun and sheer mindwork. Would love to try out all other themes of their escape rooms.
These are my favorite escape rooms in Seattle! The walk around puzzles are great, too.
What a great experience! We had a group of six, most of whom were newbies at escape rooms and we were still able to get out. The room had well designed puzzles (and a lot of them) that were challenging, but workable and so fun. The set looked really authentic. The employees were professional and played their parts well and we all had a fantastic time!
I played this puzzle room earlier this summer and it was absolutely incredible fun. The puzzles fit the theme perfectly, the decor is really top notch quality. Youll feel like youre a part of a real-life mystery that takes you into another realm if youre lucky--and smart enough! Grab some friends and give it a try. I recommend no less than four people unless youre puzzle geniuses, but probably no more than eight tops. Prepare to be dazzled! And make sure to play the street game that takes you on a puzzle hunt all around Fremont! Its part of the same world as the Vanishing Act too, which makes it even more intriguing. Cant wait until they open the new room later this year!
I’ve done a number of escape rooms now, roughly about 75, and I can say that this place is definitely in my top three. I don’t know in which order because I hadn’t really thought about it but it was amazing. My team of five with very mixed levels of expertise did the story keeper room and had a blast. Great sets, well thought out storyline and a few surprises! This was a harder room than what I expected so while I typically recommend fewer people than recommended this used everyone in the right ways. I’m looking forward to coming back to do the other room. If you’re reading this and like escape rooms, don’t skip this place. Have a great time!
Weve done over 100 escape rooms around the world and were excited to try both The Storykeeper and The Vanishing Act. Both were great experiences with fun sets, puzzles that fit with the themes, and above all, interesting narrative stories. I would recommend both rooms to enthusiasts and beginners alike.
Ive done about 20 escape rooms, and this one is far and away the best. We did The Story Keeper, and it blew my mind. It was so immersive, you really felt like you were a part of the story. There were 4 of us, two enthusiasts, and 2 who had only done a few before, but we managed to escape (barely!). The hint system was really clever and so integrated into the story. The sets were really well done and the live actor component was excellent as well. Its actually one of the few rooms where I can still remember pretty much every detail, thats the kind of impression it leaves. There is a reason this room shows up on a few top escape room lists on the web. Every escape room enthusiast needs to do this room. It is just that good.
We loved this! We did it for a team bonding event with 5 people total, having 1 or 2 more people probably would have allowed us to complete it. Highly recommend it.
Ive done dozens of escape rooms, and Locurios The Vanishing Act is one of the best. Both main sets of puzzles were nicely diverse and allowed everyone to work on something different if desired, and the final puzzle brought everything together seamlessly. The story was well-developed, hints were integrated well without breaking immersion, and everything seemed fair without being easy. Highly recommended!
I can very strongly say that The Story Keeper at Locurio is the best escape room I have ever played. Everything from the in-game actors, to the story line, to the puzzles allowed for the whole experience to develop in such a way where we drove home buzzing about the whole thing. If you can only ever choose one escape game to play in Seattle, make it this one.
Absolutely loved both rooms! Ive done maybe 15 different rooms from various companies and Locurio is by far my favorite. The whole experience was so immersed in the theme it felt almost real. Great sets and unique puzzles Id never seen before. The people who run it are fantastic, too. They did a great job of nudging us in the right direction when we stalled, all while staying in character. It was on the pricier side, but was well worth it. If they open up more rooms, Ill be the first one in line!
Locurio was an excellent experience. The staff were professional, and accommodating of our fairly large group. The puzzles felt fair and understandable, and the hints provided definitely enhanced the experience. My coworkers and I had a good time completing the Vanishing Act escape room, and Ill definitely return if I get the opportunity.
I’ve done about 20 escape rooms and this is definitely in my top three. I did The Storykeeper room and it is beautifully done. By far the best room I’ve done in the Seattle area. Will definitely be back to try their other room The Vanishing Act.
I very highly recommend this escape room! I did The Vanishing Act with some friends yesterday and it was excellent. My husband and I have done a LOT of escape rooms, and this one was really above average in its immersion and attention to detail. Even the game master was in character as a themed part of the story. Absolutely go check this one out. :)
Vanishing Act - absolutely phenomenal room! Down to every detail this room was put together beautifully. The puzzles were difficult, but logical. The story line was fun and engaging. Generally Im not a fan of theatricality on the part of the clue master, but these ladies are the real deal! The best room Ive done so far. I would recommend this over any room in Seattle.
This was an amazing escape room! The puzzle pieces were complex and engaging, the story was excellent, the hints were delivered in an immersive way, and the individual items were artistic and beautifully well made. Will do again!
Best escape room I have ever done. The room was incredibly well designed and the puzzles were a ton of fun! I proposed to my now-fiancee in The Storykeeper, and the staff was super enthusiastic and very helpful during the entire process. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
You have to experience this place! What a great setup! Loved every second of this place. We finished with :12 seconds left haha
Slightly difficult to find the entrance. There is some paid parking near by. The escape room I did was very interesting and I had an awesome team that made it enjoyable. Bring your thinking caps! There is plenty of room for a larger group to focus on different tasks...
The Storykeeper was extremely well thought out! Creative puzzles, immersive atmosphere, and clever mechanics. I was extra impressed that they remembered my email saying my parents might need a chair or may not be able to crawl (which was a notice on the webpage). Without any need for a reminder one actor provided an extra chair and another actor showed us an alternate, non-crawling route. All in all the staff and experience were truly exceptional. Our family had so much fun and made it out with a few minutes to spare! Thanks, Locurio :)
Ive played The Vanishing Act and The Story Keeper and both are fantastic. I think what sets Locurio apart is their ability to tell a story and not just make it about escaping a room. The actors are wonderful, the sets are detailed, and the puzzles require a wide array of skills that mean everyone finds something theyre good at solving. Theyre good about not giving you too many hints but not leaving you floundering in frustration. Would highly recommend. Im ready for the next adventure from them :-)
“The Storekeeper” is AMAZINGLY well done. Great story, stunning environment, good use of tech and none-tech puzzles, etc etc.Gorgeous game!
Their second game is AMAZINGLY well done. Great story, stunning environment, good use of tech and none-tech puzzles, etc etc.Gorgeous game!
No spoilers! But this room (The Vanishing Act) was definitely a load of fun. I will be back to do the second room (The Story Keeper) soon. First time in an escape too and it was difficult but well worth it. High quality puzzles and setting.
Did with five kids and two adults. What a great experience ! Everyone loved it
Probably the best escape room Ive been to this far. We did the magician one (which is macabre, as they say), but its a blast and the hints are provided in a great way that neither gives the puzzle away or breaks immersion.
Ive done a ton of escape/puzzle rooms, and this was definitely top tier! Lots of fun challenges, beautiful rooms, and great integration between the challenges and narrative! We also booked very last minute, and then changed plans due to a flight delay, and they were super accommodating and easy to work with!
Ive done around 140 escape rooms, and I think Locurio has the best escape rooms in Seattle and hosts one of my absolute favorites. I find that the best escape rooms do a great job with the following:1) Theming - I appreciate when escape rooms have a coherent story and theme, and the puzzles are well-integrated into that storyline. Bonus points for great set design.2) Puzzle quality - Completion of puzzles requires some level of insight to figure out what props go with the puzzle or how to use the props to solve it. This makes puzzles a bit more challenging and much more satisfying to solve. Preferably, the props arent hidden in obscure locations.3) Puzzle timing - Rooms should minimize the amount of waiting around doing nothing. Both Vanishing Act and Storykeeper hit the nail on the head with the above points:Vanishing Act - 4 out of 5. Certainly a solid room with some amount of cool tech. I liked that all the props fit well with the magician theme and that everyone in our 6-person group had something to do throughout the experience because we could split up and work on different puzzles. The story took a bit of a spooky turn at one point, and Locurio handles the transition well.Storykeeper - 5+ out of 5. Very cool tech and the best immersive story experience ever! The set design was absolutely beautiful. The puzzles fit very well with the story. It was easy for our 5-person team to split up and work on different puzzles. I highly recommend this room to anyone, since its one of my favorite escape rooms of all time.
This place is amazing!! Absolutely incredible design, detail and storytelling. They did a great job. Its a little scary but not too bad. No one jumps out at you but there is a bit if scary elements. We have been amazed by both of Locurios rooms.
My group of 4 did the Storykeeper escape room and it was amazing! I had never done an escape room before and I feel like it has set the bar pretty high. The room design was very beautiful and it was pretty cool how all the puzzles still went along with the story and didnt seem random. Definitely a must for anyone looking for something fun to do!
A group of friends I went here after hearing it being recommended by multiple people and it didnt disappointed. We chose The Storykeeper and we had the most amazing time solving puzzles and being emersed in the storyline. The level of emersion so crazy well done and you feel like you and your friends are dropped in the middle of a movie or something. Definitely lived up to the hype and we cant wait to go back and do The Vanishing Act.
Our company hired Locurio for the Falswift Object corporate event. Summer and her team did an outstanding job and I would hire them back in a heartbeat. They were very friendly and professional and the quality of the experience was top notch.
Absolute best escape rooms weve done. I only wish there were more!
We went to Locurio as part of my best friend’s bachelorette party.Locurio’s Storyteller escape room was incredibly immersive, inventive, and an absolute pleasure to work through. It also called for a lot of team work and allowed our entire party of seven to engage with the puzzles.I really appreciated the strong narrative quality of the experience.5/5 would and will visit again!!!
This was the first escape room Ive ever done, and it was absolutely fantastic. I went with a group of five others and we all agreed it was the best time.A couple of others had done escape rooms before, but they all agreed this was the best one theyve done yet. Once you step inside the room, you are immediately transported into a incredibly well-realized world. The amount of effort to immerse the players into the experience is amazing. We did The Storykeeper and the story and decorations of the puzzles scenery were amazing.Without giving too much away, throughout the course of the 70 minutes you have to complete the challenge you make your way through three different rooms, each with their own challenge, all while working to complete the larger story at hand, which provides fun motivation to keep you engaged. The puzzles themselves are the perfect amount of challenging. If you get stuck, there are hints available that make the puzzles become less cloudy, but not completely clear, to the point that you still feel like it was you who solved it when you finally do, and its such a great feeling.I will absolutely be coming back to do The Vanishing Act with much of the same group. Can not recommend highly enough!
The staff were super friendly on the way in and the puzzles were super tough (we did the missing magicians one). I will probably come by again to try out their other room too.
I came here for my 40th birthday with a group of friends. This was my first escape room. While we didnt win, we got close. I really enjoyed the puzzle (we did the Vanishing Act). All of us yeah enjoyed how much fun it was. Some of the puzzles were pretty challenging, but not too much that we couldnt figure it out with some of the hints. It made me want to do another one. There company was wonderful, and accommodated our group. I appreciated the ease with the transaction. It is $5 more per person than other escape rooms Ive looked at, but I really appreciated the care and puzzles we did. The Vanishing Act was a little creepy, but really fun.
Puzzles, theme and staff worked perfectly. We did Vanishing Act with 4 people and were adequately challenged. Best escape room anyone on the team had done.
I did The Storykeeper with a group of 4. I have done a handful of escape rooms, and this certainly has been my favorite experience so far. Approachable but challenging puzzles combined with top notch set/prop design and a high level of attention to detail made this an amazing escape room experience. Highly recommended for those new to escape rooms and enthusiasts alike!
This location has two of my all time favorite escape rooms! I have done a number of rooms in a number of cities and the ones that Locurio provides are absolutely amazing. Their puzzles are clever, the attention to detail is spectacular, and the people really committed to providing the best experience. Their new Storykeeper room, which we played on opening day, is hands down my all time favorite escape room. I would recommend having some experience with escape rooms before doing their rooms as they are a little bit more in depth than usual. However that is one of the reasons why I loved their rooms so much! If you are an escape room fanatic definitely check them out, you will not be disappointed!
Awesome escape room experience! Did the Storyteller escape room and was a blast! Good fun with a group of friends for sure!
Love the effects! Best one Ive been to so far!
So much fun!!! Grab some friends and do it
Our experience here was absolutely amazing. Everything about the puzzle was great. Our group of 5 was able to solve it with a few minutes to spare and we were so engaged the entire experience. The plot was interesting and the clues were well-integrated in it. The employees were also fantastic. They were friendly, personable, and were able to play their part very well. Wish I could do this all over again!
Great place for thirteenth birthday party
I wish i could give them more stars. These guys are phenom!
So fun....family day out. Great way to explore the ever evolving neighborhood
Great design and game play! The staff were excellent! Love the texts for hints (no need to break the immersion to ask for a hint). We did Vanishing Act and cant wait to try their new one.
2018 - Just finished the new room at Locurio (The Storybook Keeper) and they outdid themselves. It was hard but not not as challenging as The Vanishing Act (which was good for us, because we did not finish that one). It also had a lot more layers. Do not miss it!2017 - This is by far the most amazing escape room that I have experienced. Do not miss it!
As a relatively experienced escaper (25+ rooms), Locurio is one of the best Ive ever seen. The decor is astounding, the staff is engaging and fun, and the puzzles are fantastic. We did Vanishing Act and Storybook and both were amazing. Very highly recommended.
The best escape room I’ve ever done. We did the Storykeeper room and I loved how fully immersive it was. It felt like we were on a movie set! The props were amazing, the background noises were atmospheric without being distracting, and the difficulty of the puzzles was just right with the clever hints. There were times we were completely lost in the story and jumped and cheered when something new would happen. This was a first time escape room experience for most of the group and everyone loved it. I feel like other places will pale in comparison so we will probably just keep coming back here!
So so so so fun! A great story and fun puzzles, and also with a creepy edge (a good thing in my book). It felt challenging but not impossible. Well designed and well run.
The Storykeeper is easily one of the finest escape rooms Ive experienced. The puzzles are challenging and, along with the props and decor, go very well with the overall theme. The host played his character enthusiastically which added another level to the immersion for us. A bit high on the price though.
I took my team of 18 people to Locurio for a team building event. We were divided into 2 teams and solved two games: The Vanishing Act and Storykeeper. I was in the second room, and can honestly say that it was hands down the best escape room Ive ever completed. It was a gorgeous story with well done rooms and beautiful clues. I highly recommend Locurio for families, friends, and corp teams of any size.I cant wait to go back! :)
We may just possibly have been the least successful group ever to play The Storykeeper, but what immense fun! Took my wife and I plus our three children (15, 14 and 12) for my 45th birthday. Only our second escape room, but incredibly impressed with the quality of the experience: the clever puzzles, the great character acting and the fun of attempting to work together. Highly recommended!
Well designed, lots of fun. A true challenge. Definitely the best breakout room I have been to.We missed the door on the first two passes by, so a larger sign outside would be a great help.
Very fun! Immersive decor and puzzles!
Lots of fun; good, challenging puzzles! Got out with 3 minutes to spare...
We did the vanishing act and loved every minute of it. We did it with another random couple and thank god because that room is tough. Staff is great.
Fantastic! This was an extremely well done, immersive experience.
Of all the escape rooms Ive tried, Locurio has the most immersive and interesting rooms. Great staff as well.
This was a great puzzle room. Admittedly the first one Ive been to, but it was tons of fun. My only real complaint is that there was no initial direction aside from find the things which for a first timer was a bit confusing. Once I got into the swing of it and knew what kinds of things to look for the puzzles were fantastic. Our group really enjoyed trying (and failing) to complete all the puzzles. I would definitely come back for a new puzzle room. This is a great event that takes less than 2 hours and is probably suitable for teens and up.
The puzzles were well done and had good variety. Nothing was crazy hard, and they monitor your progress as you go and can provide hints by text message to keep you going. The story was fun too. My wife and I bought tickets for a slot that had a group of four already, and we worked well together, but theres a lot to solve so I dont recommend this for groups of four or less.
Within minutes of the door being closed for this room escape, I was totally consumed with solving the mystery. The room design and articles contained within appeared so authentic that I was no longer playing a game but was actually a person in the theme. We had such fun utilizing the skills of everyone in the room to find clues and put them together to solve the mystery. With family and friends, it was especially fun.
Wonderful puzzling happens here. Best or second best puzzle/escape room Ive done so far.
We attended as the culmination of a 30th birthday party. We did The Storykeeper puzzle. The entire setup was brilliant, the cast was high energy, and the interactive hints to help you along were perfect. Our group was definitely challenged and we were not able to complete the puzzle but the cast walked us through the balance to allow us the ability to see the end.I will definitely be watching as new puzzles come available to attend with other friends.
Such a fun time! Our group was totally engaged and alas we did not succeed but I’m hooked! Can’t wait to visit their new studio next year.
Great puzzle room! The story was very cool, the puzzles were varied, and the people running the room did a great job with dispensing hints when we needed them.
Very well done and great staff.
Has an awesome theme and puzzles to go along with it. Its great for all ages and I really enjoyed being constantly surprised with how clever the room was put together. It is defiantly a must see in Seattle!!
We did the Storykeeper Room and it was awesome!!
Spoiler-free review of Locurios The Vanishing Act.From beginning to end, this was a fantastic experience.I enjoy puzzles. I have played a lot of puzzle games of lots of different types. Ive seen well-designed puzzles and poorly-designed puzzles and understand the difference pretty well.I have to say that every single puzzle I encountered in Locurios The Vanishing Act was well-designed. Every puzzle had all the right information available to you. All you had to do was figure out how to put the clues together. Nothing is more frustrating than a puzzle where you have to guess, be lucky, or the clues are so obscure that they require special knowledge. I ran into nothing like that. Staff even explains how all the lock types work at the beginning so that you arent fumbling with the mechanics of a lock even though you know the combination. The theme was fantastic. Staff did a great job setting the tone. The room was designed such that almost everything in it (that wasnt a piece of furniture or fan or lamp) was a hint or was a container that held a clue. They provided working spaces that seemed natural for the setting (chalkboard for writing out ideas, table for spreading out clues, that sort of thing). The theme is worked in throughout. We had a full group of eight. Id recommend a full group. Everybody stayed busy. My group was experienced with puzzles and communicated well, so we finished with about 10 minutes to spare. The puzzles are definitely challenging, but doable. If you arent very experienced, just look up tips on escape rooms beforehand. Do a little research on common puzzle types, and youll be fine.
This was the 4th escape/puzzle riddle room I have done, and was probably both the best and the worst. I would say its best for someone who has maybe done over a dozen of these and is looking for something truly unique, but beware---there were aspects to this game that were frustrating to the point of nearly ruining the entire experience.Positives:- The curators truly care.- The storyline was intelligent, unique, nostalgic, clever- SOME of the tech used in the puzzles was very impressive and exciting- Overall had a fairly good timeNegatives:- Arriving to the location is at first exciting as you are directed through a series of alleys and doors, but takes a creepy turn when you finally reach the reception area of the space and realize its an empty room with a folding table in what appears to be a LOOSELY renovated apartment space. Seems very unprofessional was quite off-putting.- To add to the previous comment, you then sign a waiver that actually reads that you agree to be put in restraints...not even kidding about this. The curator explained that that pertains to a different room that you didnt sign up for, and we assure you that you will be able to leave the game whenever you want....- Some of the game mechanics were PROPOSTEROUS, in the sense that you knew how you were supposed to achieve a task, but the puzzle was made so physically or technically challenging that you spend ridiculous amounts of your time just to achieve.-In regards to the previous comment, some of the technology was overly clever to the point that it did not work properly and lead to sucking time. This really is a well crafted experience and is definitely a trend-setter for this type of game, but some relatively small problems actually lead to a somewhat ruined experience for all of us. I would like to come back in the the next couple of years to see how they have improved and progressed.
My team needed something like an escape room that would fit 70+ people, so we went with Locurios Falswift Objective game. They did an excellent job with coordination and execution and my team had an amazing time. The puzzles were creative and challenging, and the theme was fun.
Ive done both The Disappearing Act and The Storykeeper, and I have had fantastic experiences in each. The puzzles are clever and the production values are incredible.
Recently did a team event at Locurio. The schedule kept changing on our end, but Summer and the Locurio team were very accommodating. Half the team did the indoor event and half did the outdoor. Both were great! Id definitely recommend them to others looking for a 1-2 hour team event.
Nice fun team building eventCracking the clues and solving the puzzle was a great experience.
I have played both The Vanishing Act and The Storykeeper and I had an absolute blast! The team at Locurio definitely knows how to integrate thought provoking puzzles into an immersive storyline from beginning to end. For The Vanishing Act, we had a team of 4 (semi-experienced players) and managed to succeed. For anyone new to this, I would recommend about 6-8 players. For The Storykeeper I played with 3 inexperienced people and also managed escape. So these rooms are definitely well done for inexperienced and experienced players alike. Cant wait to see what other adventures come next!
Pretty cool experience
This game is well thought out and has a deeply immersive theatrical feel to it. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. Youll find yourself engrossed from the minute you walk through the door!
Quite possibly the best escape room Ive ever played anywhere.
Very fun, this is the second room anywhere that Ive done and was very immersive.
Loved it. The puzzles were difficult but sensible. Every answer felt earned.
Even though our team varies in age (20 to 50+) and personality (reserved to wildly energetic), we get along famously. We decided to “challenge” ourselves and try a real “team building” exercise. Locurio’s, The Vanishing Act peaked our interest and seemed to be just what we were looking for. We were not disappointed! A great time was had by all. We yelled, we cheered, we laughed, we were surprised by the comments that came out of our mouths, we discovered that we really do work well as a team and we were definitely challenged. Alas, we were not successful in solving the mystery. Whoever thought of the puzzles and clues has one wicked mind! Locurio is on our short list of “Things To Do Again.”
I had the pleasure of playing Locurio’s second escape room in preview last night. Their first room, The Vanishing Act, was amazing and was instantly one of my favorite escape rooms, not just in Seattle, but anywhere. They have outdone themselves with their latest room, The Storykeeper. It’s so good, it is certain to be booked up for months. Do yourself a favor and reserve the room while you still can. Super immersive with high production values, great puzzles, and tons of fun!
Fun and challenging. Totally worth it! Would do again!
Definitely the best puzzle room Ive done in Seattle (and Ive done quite a few). It was amazing
Amazing acting, thoroughness, tech, basically everything. Fun for birthdays!
Great staff overall
This was my first puzzle room experience and Im so lucky to have had it at Locurio! I went with 7 friends (yay $10 booking discount) for the 9:00p Vanishing Act. We were able to grab drinks and start strategizing beforehand, and it was everything we could have wanted and more. I really enjoyed that the game is more storyline based, and it seemed like all of us found a special skill in working together to solve the mystery! We will definitely be back to check out The Mysteries of Noximillian once it gets a little warmer, and it sounds like theyre working on some other great projects that we cant wait to see!
Really impressive escape room. Not the most challenging, but very well done, engaging, and exciting.
The game was very enjoyable and the puzzles were challenging even for our group of engineers. The staff who we met were friendly.I was disappointed though about their attitude towards customers − all the props were grimy and the masks smelt of bad breath. We were forced to sign a waiver that included the scenario of us dying due to staff negligence. If you wont give your word that customers arent going to die, you dont deserve to be profiting out of them.
Awesome game with great production values and solid puzzles
The Vanishing Act room had great ambiance, creative puzzles, a well integrated story and helpful hints.
GO! If youre even considering doing an escape or puzzle room THIS is the one! Book it right away!So I was planning a trip up to see friends and every visit its a hard balance of seeing everyone but not just having the constant train of brunch, coffee, lunch, dinner drinks to fit them all in. I pitched this as an idea to all my friends some of which know one another and other who do not. Hesitantly they one by one started to agree to doing the puzzle room with me. In the end I had a group of 7 friends meet me at an 11:00am Saturday appointment to challenge our minds and patience. So heres the low down...Arrive promptly, its a funny spot to find so give yourself some time. There is a sign on the front door that leads to a hallway. Find the stairs to the lower level and Locurio is at the front end of the building with their name on the door.A lovely host will greet you in the lobby, set you up with the waver to sign off on and once everyone is present and ready to begin will walk you through the expectations and dos/donts of the experience. You will feel well informed about what they are NOT trying to trick you with so you do not waste extra time with elaborate schemes to solve the clever mind games they play on you.Following the brief the experience shifts and is started right there in the lobby! What ensues is a fun and elaborate setup for you and your team to work through. Having a diverse team of people from many backgrounds will bode well for you if you are to succeed. The puzzles range from one person to multi and there are things that I cant even imagine the path they went down to build and design. SO many great surprises and discoveries along the way. And just when you think youre doing great, or horribly things can change in an instant!I have one other escape room experience to compare this with but this blows it out of the water with authenticity, creativity and full submersion into an experience. The gals who started this place are always happy for feedback and they have a whole host of employees who are actively engaged in building and designing the room and systems. My hope for them is that they build another space with an entirely new way to experience this kind of adventure. I know it is in the works and thankfully they have already earned a great reputations as one of the top in their field. Because once you have done the room despite how much you want to do it again you cant recreate that experience once you know the answers. The best way to sum up this review is after dragging all of these friends into a collective experience not only were they all raving about it but they all agreed as a group to jump into Locurios next room whenever it be built! Some awesome pro tips for this experience:-Come hydrated, well rested and ready for fun!-Book a week ahead of time and youll have your choice of slots.-Book 4 or more, it would be hard to beat this game with 6 or less and you may have strangers join your group if there are slots needed by the time you arrive. Do not fret! This is typically an advantage in these rooms to have other folks who arent just friends on your team!-If you only have 4 or less to book you may be able to join anothers group to have a full team!Foods:-There is an amazing bakery Flying Apron to stop at beforehand if you need coffee or a treat and Jai Thai next door afterwards is an awesome debrief for you and your team!If you had doubts whether this is for you I hope this review will make you reconsider. Youre supporting a creative and amazing local business who will hopefully come out with more ways to trick and entertain us for years to come!
One of the best escape rooms I have done!
Great fun
