Great nature themed playground for the kids. Awesome climbers and such. And, they are taking exceptional care to spray everything down after every session, track whos there for each session, and generally just keep people safe. The one sad thing is that its fall, and too cold for the water elements. Its still worth the money. The kids love this place

The playground is amazing, the kids loved it. But just like everyone has mentioned, theres a $2 fee for everyone for only 1 hour. And lets say the playground was sanitized and ready for guests at 10am and you came at 10:30, then you will pay entrance fee for only half an hour. Not worth it. Kids take half an hour just to look around when theyre at a new park. At least, my kids do. So an hour was absolutely not enough for them. I dont blame them though. As they have to clean and sanitize the place every hour.

This is a wonderful place to take your children. They are currently limiting it to 50 people at a time, one hour at a time, so there is plenty of space to run and not be on top of others.I took my 2 year old, and he was challenged by some of the features, but by the end of our adventure, he was climbing and doing everything on his own. We will definitely be making this a weekly visit!

This was our first time here but it surpassed any expectations I had. My boys, 4 and 2, loved it and there were plenty of activities for both. Next time I will be sure to bring a towel and change of clothes because they loved the water features so much. The trails were also beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Great playground for the kids and nice trails around it. Be aware can get very busy. Currently they are letting people in in hourly time frames, closing for a half hour in between to clean the playground. They are also charging two dollars a person, adult or child to keep numbers low and pay for the cleaning. They do take cash, credit, apple pay, and Google pay.

Re

Non residents cant register for a time slot. Also, since you are paying a fee, you should arrive at the start of the entrance time because you only get one hour (no re entry after they clean). Its a fun park, but probably not worth it right now.

I was excited to take my kids there. That was a mistake. They’ve changed the entrance and added a 2$ fee per person. Isn’t this park paid for by the taxes we paid? Not to mention it’s one hour visit and you must pre register, and pre book online. We arrived twenty minutes before the hour but there was no cleaning or sanitizing happening. There was a long line and no one observing social distancing guidelines. Just don’t make sense. None of it. Really unfortunate to see this happening to a park.

Wonderful park, playground, and nature center! We love it! We visit almost all year round. It must have developed by experts in early childhood education. It has great slides and places to climb for kids of a variety of ages. Lots of interesting activities including water, sand, music art and nature education. You might want to dress kids in swimsuits or bring a change of clothes in warm weather. Beautiful trails to walk on. It can get very crowded and the parking lot will fill up quickly. There are bathrooms but there is a walk to reach them. It connected to the Heritage farm which is also worth visiting.

Really enjoyed the trail. Since the covid is still rampant, only the trails were open. I believe the full trail is around 3 miles. Theres a huge play area, which unfortunately is still closed, but honestly even as a 32 year old, still looks super fun. The trails are gorgeous, youll run into a huge pond with little benches, and eventually theres a cabin and little farm. Overall, its a great way to spend several hours walking around and being in nature

A place to encourage kids to be kids!? This is one of the last remaining national treasures that teaches children to explore, get dirty(in moderation), and get outside to play. As a helicopter parent myself I quickly found excuses why I didnt want to take them. Im glad we took a leap of faith and were able to see this! My kids were running, jumping, touching, falling, and most importantly... Laughing! The kids loved it, and we were watchful eagle eyed parents, but the confidence the kids had from this just had us puzzled. Weve been back 10+ times since and we live almost 45 minutes away!

This is NOT a traditional playground! There are no swings or monkey bars, or most traditional playground equipment. They do have a few slides. This playground is all about nature. It has a lot of water, sand and rocks. Your kids will get very wet! Bring extra socks, shoes, and clothes or even a swimsuit. I did not know this before I went and I honestly wish that I did, it would have saved me a huge headache!Overall it’s a nice place! I do recommend checking it out at least one time. It’s very different and encourages creative play. However, you must go when it’s very warm because it really involves water play.

It used to be my favorite park. Now you have to pay $2/person, and kids allowed to play only for 1 hour. No water river, no waterfall, no water to play with sand — I came with my two toddlers to play with sand and water — it’s just disappointing. Never come back under current rules.

Amazing park with so much for kids to do. Entire area is themed around prairie life and animals that would call this area home. Sight lines are good and entire play space is fenced in. Multiple levels of play areas with a music instrument section, picnic area, and sand area included. Missing a more tot friendly area but there is still things for them. Attention to details here are amazing. During warm weather water runs through a stream in the park for fun with water dynamics and dam building. If you can, you should plan a fun day for the kids!

Fun climbing park! Some cool themed areas, like a music area for kids to hit tubes and make notes. It has a little rock creek that kids can play in. Water shoes (not crocs, too slippery) recommended. Just be aware if other parents are watching their kids (or on their phones). We experienced other kids actually throwing really big rocks right near us several times and had to be the parents and say something.

If you live somewhat close to this park, take the kids or grandkids. The play area is well designed for the kids to climb and run and jump. I even played the pipes with a handicap boy, who loved banging those musical pipes. When you’re done there, walk over to the main building and enjoy the many stuffed animals that are from this area as well as numerous other displays.Spend an hour or spend a day hiking three the woods and many paths. This nature playground is absolutely adorable!! They have a variety of activities to help kids get in touch with nature, including a Creek with rocks for them to wade in, a sand play area, a large climbing structure made to look like rocks and a bison, etc. The day we came, it seemed like every kid in a 50 mile radius must have been present - it was to the point where I almost considered just leaving. Im so glad I didnt! Despite the massive amount of kids that were present, there was more than enough for everyone to do, and my kids were able to play at their leisure with no wait times for anything. Other kids were all polite and were taking turns etc. Without parent intervention. There is a little library with books you can take on your way in and out. It also had a nice mix of sunny and shady areas.
