This tree is wow. And a lovely drive along a riverside street to see it. Also lit for evening appreciation.

Large sweeping branches. Admire from the street but keep off the private property and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbors.

This is a beautiful tree a few hundred years old. Great for wedding or prom photos.

Magic tree

I have lived in Savannah area for almost 50 yrs. I grew up within bike riding distance. I didnt discover this majestic tree until I was in my early teens. That said I appreciate it more every time I see it. The illusion of several trees due to the branches reemerging from the ground is beautiful. Teens need to see it before it becomes damaged further. The upkeep on it by the neighborhood is wonderful but I see the slow deterioration of it and want people to see it as it still exists.

Definitely worth the visit, you have to see it with your own eyes to comprehend the size of this 300 years old tree.
