Ive enjoyed multiple tastings at Hanna Winery, and became a member too!! The views of the vineyards with the picnic tables are perfect for an afternoon nibble with the tastings. Im blanking on the ladys name, but Patrick and the lady are lovely and personable. I highly recommend a visit here at Hanna on Occidental Road.
Excellent wines, great picnic area, and it’s pretty small. Don’t plan to throw a party there, but a close friends getaway is a great idea. Try their Chardonnay, it’s absolutely fantastic!
Were never disappointed by Hannah. Their Sav Blanc is one of or favorites. They just have all around GOOD wines. Of course there are some that dont agree with our taste, but thats why theres a selection right? The tasting room is designed nicely its open and theres alot of interesting things to see and the surrounding scenery & facility is pleasant to hang out in on good days. On cloudy cold days youll want to stay inside though. When there are large groups the small parking lot and tasting room can get crowded, you might have to pass it up and come back later when some spots become open but thats a bit that adds to its charm. Small parking for a cozy personal wine retreat instead of a big corporate cram them in there product selling machine. And that personality and personalization is what we enjoy about Hanna
A very good one.. nice folks, a few snacks when we were there..
Hanna Winery is family owned, and I think this contributed to my enjoyment of a summer wine-tasting experience. Hannah has a second tasting room in Alexander Valley; this Russian River location is the original operation and the origin of the Hannah pinot noir. A leisurely lunch on the patio was a pleasure. Youll feel welcome here.
I could have drank a gallon of the Pinot Noir! Cant wait to return and do exactly that!!
Very relaxing atmosphere and excellent wines :-)
Excellent wine and excellent people !!!
Thanks to Patrick this place feels just like drinking at home. Of course we will be back for more.
One of the best Sauvignon Blancs
