I had a wonderful time here at the Santa Fe Railyard where I took the train from Santa Fe to Albuquerque and back the next day!!! Great lovely and majestic landscape, the train was very warm and cozy and it has two levels inside. Tables inside to have a quick snack and also very convenient sockets to charge your phones etc. very highly recommended if you are in Santa or Abq! 5 out of 5 stars most definitely!!!

We used the railyard parking lot to park for a bike ride on the Santa Fe rail trail. Good safe parking lot n xt to the farmer market. Parking payment is made using your card at a pay kiosk. Inside the building is a clean public restroom.

Very cool place. We came in late May for the farmers market and artists market on a Saturday. 10/10 great experience. Tons of local folks selling and shopping. I made off with some freakin great Chile powder and some great fruit.

Cool place to visit, but hey...I like trains! Gentleman working there came up to us and spent a long time sharing his knowledge about the history of the station and about the birth of the RailRunner, their current passenger train.

Santa Fe Railyard is a nice final stop on the Railrunner. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and other assorted shops. The capital building and many other attractions are also a short walk.

Excellent dining locations including the Second Street Brewery and Tomasitas. Fantastic Farmers Market on Saturdays. There is also an Artist Market on the weekends. Take the NM Rail Runner Express if youre heading up to Santa Fe from Albuquerque. It lets you off right in the heart of the Railyard.

We walked through the area, stopped at REI, and that was about all there was to do on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Went into one shop but were turned away because they were closed (despite the open door and sign out front). There was also a movie theater and restaurants. With all the great reviews, we must have missed something. Maybe there’s more activity in the warmer months?

We were lucky to have been there during Saturday Market. Great local produce, prepared foods, and fantastic pastries. Also art and clothing booths. It is a fun, relaxing atmosphere. A must visit for train enthusiasts. The train goes back and forth from Albuquerque to Santa Fe during the Market as well as other times. There are also stores, galleries, and restaurants to enjoy.

The Santa Fe Railyard is a small place to wait on the train for the trip back south. While small it is packed with a nice snack bar serving more options than I would think possible for that kind of space. They are also starting to build a model train. Looking forward to coming back to see the completed setup.

Nice setting, still building up. The Railyard is at the phase where it has redevloped quite a bit, and the rest of the area around it still needs to catch up. There are new, poncy condos nearby, just opened, and some decent restaurants and coffee shops around and you get the feeling that in twenty years ithe gaps will be filled in and it will be bustling and well- established. The Rail Runner goes to Albuqurque station but the Railyard is still a bit out of the way, despite how compact the central Santa Fe area is.

Well it was the first time going on the rail runner it was on a Sunday we got there everything was closed like places to eat we could not get back until 8 pm so made the best of it plus it was cold we get back to Albuquerque and we had no idea it was not going to take us back to where we left my car ‍ we walked from downtown to my friends house about 5-6 miles did not get home until after midnight. Long story short I will not be using the rail runner again. It was nice to see around you but definitely not worth the headache.

Excellent multi-use destination in Santa Fe, representing new school Santa Fe through rather brilliant urban repurposing! This former Santa Fe Railroad spur still serves as a transportation hub, as the final stop on the Rail Runner (Rio Metro) light rail between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Highlights are its free concerts, Santa Fe Farmers Market, SITE Santa Fe, Currents New Media events, Jean Cocteau Cinema (independent cinema owned by George R. R. Martin), and Rail (bike) Trail. Along with various contemporary art galleries, great eating, shopping, and various more contemporary offerings (also check out Violet Crown Cinema).

The selection of veg was very nice. The facilities are beautiful and clean. I got a croissant with chile and cheese. It was delicious. Only issue we had was with the restroom situation. My husband has crohns and was hit with an GI episode while walking around. He was in the restroom (a public one seater) for probably less than 10 minutes before an employee became impatient and tried to UNLOCK THE DOOR with him in it so that her friend could use that restroom instead. She was late 60s, overweight, had glasses and grey hair and was wearing a caftan. Thank god he had pulled his pants up by then and I was able to distract her by putting my hand on the doorknob and telling her to stop, but she already had her key in it and was about to push the door open!!! Didnt even give a knock. Neither did her friend actually, just saw that it was locked and huffed away to get the employee. This woman needs to check herself, because next time her entitlement and unprofessional work habits are going to land her in a courtroom for invasion of privacy or sexual assault.

My husband and I were having a chill day while we were in Santa Fe and we decided to go to the movies in the Rail Yard. We heard that this was a pretty cool area, so we went about an hour early to walk around and check it out. Well to be honest there was not much to see and not many people there either. We went on a Thursday afternoon, and from what we could tell they have activities and things set up for weekends possibly because it looked to us like they were setting things up outside in some parts. There were a couple of art showcases, but those were not open as well. The movie theater was fantastic with a nice bar/patio/eating area inside, so we we spent our time in there before our show. If you decide to go to the Railyard I would suggest making sure something is going on there prior to your visit.

A lively spot on weekends, with the Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Artisan Market on Sundays -- outside in the summer or inside the Farmers Market Pavillion in the winter. Museo Culturals winter market (just across the tracks from the Farmers Market) is awesome, with the coolest finds you can imagine. And dont miss the amazing new Site Santa Fe building -- its really stunning.
