This trail is close to town and there are a few good views. Mostly in the woods. I did the loop from the sign more difficult route first. If you like trail running you can run easily on much of the trail. Its not super exciting (well I just hiked in rmnp so Im biased) but great day hike.. about 3.5 loop. It connects to other trails that will extend the trip.
Very few people on this beautiful wooded hike. Nice views. I’m from the Midwest and used this hike to get my body used to the elevation in preparation for a week of hiking. To me, the climb was a good challenge and did the trick. I spent about three hours on the trail. Though I was looped a few times by the locals. It’s close proximity to Ten Thousand Waves Spa made for a great hike with a soak reward after.
It was a very nice trail.
Loved the trail! Ended up going to the Windsor trail as well which is closer to the creek! Found cool fossils there !
One of my favorites. Several trail options in one place. Dont be distressed by the early elevation gain. It gets much more gradual after that.
Great hike
Great hike. Check maps and bring water
Great hike with good views.
Nice hike and very scenic. Posting of trailhead markers could be a little better. But very nice overall.
Beautiful wooded hike with nice vistas. Easily navigated trail with a moderately strenuous elevation change in the first portion. Did this in the first week of October with great temperatures.
If you’re going downhill on a mountain bike, you’re absolutely NOT allowed to use your brakes. #nobrakes
Great trail did 2.5 mile loop
Awesome hike with beautiful views.
Definitely a favorite hike
