Beautiful little park nestled in the middle of the American Riviera. The setting is the perfect place for a smaller fido to stretch his legs, enjoy a romantic shaded picnic, or to just relax and get away from the stresses of life for a couple minutes. A couple blocks away from the mission and the road it is on is a straight shot between there and the 101 Freeway North, so well worth the drive if you are passing through too.
Orpet park is very pretty. I enjoy it on sunny days!
A quirky little hillside park, with no level ground, situated on the Riviera on A.P.S. Rd. Beautiful trees and equally beautiful view overlooking SB. Peaceful & serene, day or night.
Great place nestled in the hills and very unknown
Beautiful place to get a little uphill exercise!!
Great little park for walking your dog or just chilling
Small but such a cute place to stay at. I only stopped for a.break but the atmosphere was so calming! Coming here is a must. Its away from everything.
Small, quaint hillside park with great views, making you feel like your much farther from the city than you actually are.
Small neighborhood park on a steep slope. Plenty of grass and shade given the abundance of trees. No restroom.
I was in Santa Barbara 2 weeks ago. I havent been to Orpet Park since roughly 1965! I thought it was right off of State Street. They havent moved anything, have they? I remember it being very cool and green, a nice place to rest before the drive back to the San Fernando Valley. I will come back and add a star after I visit it again!
Nice, quiet clean, peaceful. Love this park not as secluded as other parks, you are not submerged in nature, but enough so that you can unwind and clear your mind.
Clean . Magical with a date and dope
Beautiful, quiet little park with sweeping ocean views. No facilities, but great to visit.
Beautiful place with Beautiful views
Very nice for walks and picnics. Not much to it, just grass and a picnic table. There are two grassy areas, one on each side of the street. Also, you are basically in someones backyard. Would recommend for locals who want to enjoy a book on the grass or a nap in the shade of a tree. We just went at the end of July and the grass was surprisingly still very green. Last year it was pretty yellow with the drought. All good now!
Such a nice quiet park, it has pick nick benches, and a tree from a seed from the 1995 Oklahoma bombing
Cozy little park with a great view
No bathrooms but great view.
Its beautiful
I need to come here
Nice views.
Named after a murderer?
Would be beautiful except for the drought.
