Interesting place. Used by all kinds of different organizations for all kinds of different event. Wonderful location. Currently I go there to watch my nephews play flag football. Definitely not a family park to have a barbecue but hey, Im sure you could.
Pretty park but the attitude given by the tweakers kinda kills the vibe
Lots of homeless.....tents....smells really bad
Rude homeless guy (drunk and on something?) Did not feel safe. Other than that clean park and restrooms are ok.
Very nice park right next to the beach with baseball and softball fields. Spacious grass areas for picnics or whatever you like to do. My favorite park in S.B.
Lush environment where you can unwind with plenty of shelter from the trees. However, be wary that there are a few homeless individuals around too. That shouldnt spoil the fun though as you can take as an opportunity to bring and share as recharge by indulging in nature!
Too many homeless people live there now unfortunately
This park is close to the beach area in Santa Barbara. Its located next to the Western Carriage Museum. Parking lot can be crowded during week days when Santa Barbara City college is in session. Park baseball fields and tennis courts used by school during week days 7 am to 5 pm. 3-4 Handicap parking spaces available. Park can be exceptionally warm when a hotter day in Santa Barbara, not much tree/shade coverage. Public restroom available. Smaller bleacher seating by ball fields. Western Carriage Museum shares parking lot with park.
Great to watch Baseball games and little bit of SHADE for a picnic
Would be great if it didnt smell like piss in the corner where the tennis courts are.
Pretty clean, beautiful park. Some homeless type but not enough to worry about.
This is a very nice park near the beach. My visits here are for SBCC baseball games. The facilities are well groomed and clean. There is almost always a small contingent of homeless in the park during the day but I have never seen them bother anyone.
Ok a bunch of hobos thee though
Its a sad little wannabe baseball park thats across from a college and the beach where you would rather go to the beach than that stinky park but thats Santa Barbara for you
Great place, wish they had more events there.
This park is very well active. I really like the environment
Great place for a pitstop on your way north or south on highway 101.
Has a softball field and playground. Also has a large green area and small stage. The park is also very close to the beach, which is nice, but can also make it chilly. The parking lot is big, but the city college (right above) uses it as one of the few free parking lots for the school, so it gets pretty jam packed on the weekdays during the day.
Cool little park that abuts City College and sits adjacent to the Harbor In what must be one of SBs most prime location, location, locations!
Good park for baseball or kickball but its always full of a bunch of homeless people.
I love this place for the tennis courts and proximity to hotels and other mainstays in Santa Barbara. There are lighted walking paths above the tennis courts.
Nice shady park, we stop to eat our lunch we were having a great casual lunch, until we witness a blond lady on her 50s selling dope....wow!
Great place to take Tennis lessons, or watch a baseball game. The wonderful Carriage Museum is located off of the parking lot.
Usually full of bums, otherwise it would be nice...
Its super shady and cool
Very peaceful until city police come around ....and pour your beer out!
Havent been to the park but if you go to SBCC this is the best place to park
Because blounds blounds you can do many things and dont forget take care of the place
This is a wonderful little park with 10 tennis courts
This is primarily a sports complex with two softball field, a baseball diamond, and tennis courts. There are public restrooms, but no playground or picnic areas. The adjoining park, Plaza Del Mar, has plenty of grass and trees, but is overrun with homeless folks.
Lots of shade and close to the harbor. Unfortunately, it is not family friendly as it has been taken over by boneless people who use the public bathrooms by the parking lot in a way that makes it difficult to access them. Likewise most areas of the park are used by homeeless people. Not a place to sit on the grass or lay your blanket for a picnic.
Its mostly a baseball field. Its next to the marina though on the corner of Castillo.
Needs a better bathroom setup
Very Pleasant place to hang out..
Was a good time like always.....
Great scenery. Great facilities.
Nice park down by the beach
Nice quiet park by SBCC
Great location and they finally got rid of the drunken bums
Nice girls
Great tennis courts..
Great place to park if your an sbcc student
Filled with either baseball jocks, urban travelers, or saturday morning beach mass at the auditorium. Nice park, saw someone with a metal detector digging up treasure!
Close to the seafront and main street
Mostly a ball park and hobo residence.
Lots of tennis baeball and the historical horse museum
Here to play kickball. Great fields.
Historical. Amphitheater listen to the music as you sit on the lawn under a shady tree. Street parking and a few homeless.
Not a good place if you have a kid or if you wanna leave your car parked. People are using drugs and leaving needles behind. WATCH OUT!
Beautiful
Nancy
Lots of memories, had to stop by
Nice
Yup
It ight
Big
Its a park.
Love watching softball here
Went to see my daughters baseball game last night.
Boys & Girls usually practice Baseball here :)
Baseball and tennis park. Watch out for the homeless.
