Interesting place. Used by all kinds of different organizations for all kinds of different event. Wonderful location. Currently I go there to watch my nephews play flag football. Definitely not a family park to have a barbecue but hey, Im sure you could.

Rude homeless guy (drunk and on something?) Did not feel safe. Other than that clean park and restrooms are ok.

Very nice park right next to the beach with baseball and softball fields. Spacious grass areas for picnics or whatever you like to do. My favorite park in S.B.

Ja
Review №8

Lush environment where you can unwind with plenty of shelter from the trees. However, be wary that there are a few homeless individuals around too. That shouldnt spoil the fun though as you can take as an opportunity to bring and share as recharge by indulging in nature!

Too many homeless people live there now unfortunately

This park is close to the beach area in Santa Barbara. Its located next to the Western Carriage Museum. Parking lot can be crowded during week days when Santa Barbara City college is in session. Park baseball fields and tennis courts used by school during week days 7 am to 5 pm. 3-4 Handicap parking spaces available. Park can be exceptionally warm when a hotter day in Santa Barbara, not much tree/shade coverage. Public restroom available. Smaller bleacher seating by ball fields. Western Carriage Museum shares parking lot with park.

This is a very nice park near the beach. My visits here are for SBCC baseball games. The facilities are well groomed and clean. There is almost always a small contingent of homeless in the park during the day but I have never seen them bother anyone.

Its a sad little wannabe baseball park thats across from a college and the beach where you would rather go to the beach than that stinky park but thats Santa Barbara for you

Great place for a pitstop on your way north or south on highway 101.

Has a softball field and playground. Also has a large green area and small stage. The park is also very close to the beach, which is nice, but can also make it chilly. The parking lot is big, but the city college (right above) uses it as one of the few free parking lots for the school, so it gets pretty jam packed on the weekdays during the day.

Cool little park that abuts City College and sits adjacent to the Harbor In what must be one of SBs most prime location, location, locations!

Good park for baseball or kickball but its always full of a bunch of homeless people.

I love this place for the tennis courts and proximity to hotels and other mainstays in Santa Barbara. There are lighted walking paths above the tennis courts.

This is primarily a sports complex with two softball field, a baseball diamond, and tennis courts. There are public restrooms, but no playground or picnic areas. The adjoining park, Plaza Del Mar, has plenty of grass and trees, but is overrun with homeless folks.

Va
Review №33

Lots of shade and close to the harbor. Unfortunately, it is not family friendly as it has been taken over by boneless people who use the public bathrooms by the parking lot in a way that makes it difficult to access them. Likewise most areas of the park are used by homeeless people. Not a place to sit on the grass or lay your blanket for a picnic.
