More like the storage facility for the parade. Parking is a challenge as this is the parking lot for the college so you need to get there early on a school day. Their major business seems to be renting the place out for parties. They have quite a few carriages, but only a few have any descriptions. The saddles and tack are marked better. Some tools related to carriages are in front. One maintenance person was there, no other staff to answer questions. We were in and out in 40 minutes and that is longer than most will want to spend. It is free to go in and does open earlier than most museums so stop by if you are in the area.

One of the Hidden gems in Santa Barbara talk to way behind the baseball field its like walking into the past great education the most Stagecoach Museum so many different styles I would recommend anyone that likes the wild west even a collection of famous saddles. And history of Wells Fargo. A very low-key environment. I would recommend.

Its beautiful & has a wonderful history of the wild west, Santa Barbara style. The carriages, saddles & horse gear have been lovingly restored & displayed here. If you have an opportunity to visit this magical place (a lot of private & nonprofit functions are held here), dont miss it!

Attended an event for Old Spanish Days parade volunteers and participants. The facility is great for events, I cannot comment about the museum since most carriages were secured away for the event. This is the second event that I have attended there where food quality, service and presentation were sub-par at best. If this is a contracted caterer for the facility they should reconsider
