Wonderful movie theater that plays a wide range of films, not just your big budget affairs. Wonderful employees, clean bathrooms AND liquor? Love it. Chairs maybe not the most comfortable.

This theater tens the show the smaller indie movies that are well-reviewed instead of the blockbusters. I really like this theater. I think maybe they could use new chairs though.

This is a great theater. Immaculate, nothing fancy, but great movies, beer, popcorn. Its one of my favorites when Im in Santa Barbara.

This is the cleanest and most comfortable theater in town. Staff is friendly and their original popcorn maker makes the best popcorn in town! The remodeled bathrooms are beautiful and spacious and parking is not an issue.For me, this is the best theater in town! ...and I love the independent films they show most of the time!

Hate the deluge of ads before the movie, but fun to have a glass of wine while we watch.

If you like films with substance, films that are not run of the mill Hollywood productions. If you like artful, thoughtful, beautiful, meaningful, funny, provocative films, this is the best place in Santa Barbara for you. They have renovated and that is great. While the new food menu was a bit disappointing, I dont usually get food or drinks at movie places anyway. They seem to have not done their market research on who goes to see these types of films in SB? Age of the customers, health-minded, educated, etc. If it would have been my decision to put a menu together, it might have included veggie wraps, smoothies, unsweetened herbal iced teas, at least sweet potato fries or things with a somewhat healthy slant. Thats the only thing I can think of to be different than it is. It is otherwise a great venue to watch quality movies that actually make me think...move me in some way emotionally, have historical and cultural value. So glad they are here in our town and I hope they stay. XOXO

Comfortable movie theater which shows art-type movies.

Clean theatre. Good prices. Friendly staff. We decided to eat at their new beer, wine and food bar. Sort of expensive but thats how they make their money. The woman behind the counter was a bit confused. She said she couldnt heat (not cook) our meals at the same time and each would take 6 to 8 minutes. She heated both meals at the same time after being somewhat scolded by her manager right in front of us. Sort of and unprofessional floor show to start our evening. The food was heated. We should have eaten at the restaurant right next door. The food would have cost as much and would have been cooked.

Great new lobby with a nice pub-style bar. Serving hot food, wine, beer on tap and from bottles, ciders, and the usual candy, soda and great popcorn. - New seats should be coming soon!

Very nice movie theater. And they sell beer!

A chunky woman with long dark hair kept making the rounds in the theatre...we were watching Downtown Abbey and first she rudely asked one woman to put her feet down from the back of the seat...then was back again checking on all of the customers as if we were school children...seriously???

I like this theater almost as much as the Riviera

Love that this theater shows films that are more art than commercial. The new renovations and amenities are very nice additions.

Its a cute little theater that shows a lot of current movies along with some more lesser know movies that you wont see other movie theaters playing. Always enjoyed going here as a kid.

The seats are very uncomfortable and the sound is bad too. The alleged public house concept is not that interesting,, just overpriced snacks and overpriced beer. And the food makes the room drink of pickles and grease.

Its a pretty small theatre and weve seen quite a few movies here. Its decent.

A movie theater that doubles as both a bar and a church. Mostly independent movies play there, not the blockbusters.

No stadium seating, yet! Refreshments are airport priced for mostly unhealthy choices. Other than that its a decent screen venue. To bad all our movie houses are owned by one company. They badly need competition.

Nice sized theatre and easy to find parking. Wish they showed more of the movies I want to see.

Most of the movies are for the elderly audience, but it serves beer sooooo 5 stars.

So do some samples...people need to know what they are getting.Need the Pretzel back...or Pretzel Bites? I would run a Seniors Daily Deal or some promo for Seniors (which is like %70 of their audience when I am there).Many on a budget...and would spend money if there were incentives. Running a weekly $3 draft beer or wine ALL day along with a Food item...Like The Fried Mac n Cz w/ Beer $8. And they need some foosd that are bigger,more substantial or bottomless...or some TwoFers...It is a common thing in a new Pub to run offers to get people TO the bar...Get aquanted specials...and then you keep them. I would make boiled peanuts-crock pot scooped into a cups great with beer and salty. Maybe even offer some kind.of service. ie: mid film option to pre-order a beer to be delivered...thereby insuring folks dont miss any of their film...have a server deliver to seats...when texted? And since there is a Pub why not do a Double Feature Date Night Deal...Two films...two drinks ...two food items...$30..that is a great deal. And it puts butts in seats...keeps folks buying because they think...they get a taste and will buy more....and be thinking...I got such a great deal...I can spend more! Have Wineries and Breweries do special tastings in between show times...Flights for $10....and offer some free samples of the new menu items...to inspire. The Biggest complaint i have heard in my 3 visits since the Remodel..too expensive...no deals...no incentives...there should be samples of the new menu and tastings...I ahve never had this item...not sure There is so much you could do with this concept....People love Dinner and a Movie with an option to drink...People alos love a deal....and it is a one stop shopping opp...People need a little push...a reason to visit the new bar and its menu...the lobby smells like fish n chips instead of pop corn...that needs work...fish and chips would not be my pick...not cost effective and the smell is potent.Maybe create a signature mug or wine glass? Customers can get a deal on refills... All the Vintners in the area have promo stuff....incentives...inspire...create...build clientele...It just needs some tweaks and a gentle nudge....Freebies will get them to the bar....sweet staff will keep them. Also there is so much fried food on the menu...grease.Yikes. Lots of special diest out there need a little respect. How about a little fresh fruit and cheese plate for $5 or a paired offer with a Wine Flight....a Flight of Fancy $12...a flight of wines paired with w few grapes,sliced pears and apples and a couple of cheeses...crackers.You could get Whole Foods or Trader Joes or Cest Cheese to run a paired promo...Like I said...SO many ideas and lots of time to create and prove. Metropolitan movie theater that has two screens. They dont run first run new movies. Youll usually find independent films there.

This is a very small theatre, and fairly old as well. The screen in our movie cut out over 5 times as we were watching, and people even got up and left. Very disappointing.

Too many rude movie goers constant throat clearing, Good manager, nteresting movies.
