I was with my friend to watch a movie, and this cinema house has everything that I needed. From snacks to beverages, everything was tasty and affordable. It was really a great experience, and I would surely come back here again to bring my family to watch a movie together. Truly amazing! Thank you so much, everyone!

Amazing theater. Went to an event here put on by Apple music. Wish there was more AC. It was so hot in there! 800 ppl and no air gets a bit uncomfortable..Great screening of Ed Sheerans documentary: Songwriter. streaming in App store tomorrow 1/28/18 a must see!

Not only does the Metropolitan Paseo Nuevo 4 Cinemas manage to offer reserved stadium seating, easy parking, great customer service, a fun time-killing store, awesome displays, and an encouraging lack of youngsters - but it does it all with a magic touch that makes the whole thing both comfortable and incredibly special. This is my favorite movie theater in the whole world.

My favorite theater in downtown Santa Bárbara, technically the most artsy film theater as compared to the others in the area which play blockbuster films. Also they never judge me going alone.

Unique theater, housed upstairs above shops along State St. The building has an historic feeling to it. While the technological experience may not be state of the art, the feel and amenities make up for. You can get a beer or wine for select shows if you are off age. All in all, a fun movie-going experience. For chess lovers- there is a large chess board located right out front of the theater ♟

This is a cool little theater downtown. Although some of the stuff seemed a little dated, I feel the experience remains unaffected. I was particularly surprised by the sound quality. I went in thinking that the sound may not be the same quality as a bigger theater, but being an audio production person, I felt it was very good. Price was decent, but most movie prices are about the same anyways. Definitely a good place to catch a movie and take a break from shopping.

Many good shops, often adding new ones. Places to get a bite to eat before the movies. Weekend local crafts & jewelry, holiday events. Great for a family stroll, girlfriend time or a casual date. Lots of people watching fun.

I would give it 4.5 just because there are nicer, larger theaters. This was a great theater and had good service. Comfortable and clean. No problems with the movies and the popcorn was good. Only shows 4 movies at a time but I would go again.

This theater is terrible and has terrible uncomfortable seats. Not only that but 3 times i have gone there and they only accepted cash or lied about the showtime for a movie and i would have had to wait 3 more hours. If a good movie plays there i will just wait for it to come out on google play or itunes. I am never going there again.

The seats are not real comfortable, but the smaller size of the venue is nice. The popcorn could be fresher.

I was confused / skeptical about all the various theaters in town. I discovered that theyre all ran by Metro, theyre all great and in Santa Barbara the individual theaters are really just one large theater spread across multiple properties. Since Moviepass Ive come to appareciate that each theater is uniquely great, which extends to the two theaters in Goleta as well.

Theater is fine, refreshments as expensive as usual. What I dont like so much is the fact that a) you cant buy tickets ahead of time so we stood in line for 10 minutes, b) you cant reserve a seat, so you feel you must get there early, put up with trailers, just to get 2 seats together, and c) the chairs are old and saggy...a far cry from the modern recliners in so many good theaters today.

Decent theater. If you can, Id go to Camino Real in Goleta over this. The ticket was $9.75 for an evening showing which is about par for todays prices. The $5 medium soda was full of ice (my fault for not asking for no ice / little ice). The show room is on a very slight grade (compared to most other theaters stadium seating today) so if you have somebody of similar height in front of you, it makes seeing enjoying the movie difficult. The volume of the movie was also somewhat low (which was weird because the DLP projector trailer had a nice booming sound).Overall its not a bad spot, I just think there are better values out there. If the time is right and if Ive already seen a movie, I might consider coming back here again (maybe I just caught a bad showing of Deadpool?).

In general I don’t pay attention to reviews and rarely post one, but I recently saw Darkest Hour in theater 2 and felt the sound system was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced.
