Our group was comprised of four families that wanted to spend time together and observe social distance. Wekiva Outfitters offered each family the correct combination of tandem and single kayaks to keep everyone separated by family group. Moreover, the Wekiva Outfitter representative was on-time, prepared, and courteous to assist us without compromising our 6 foot of social distance. The kayaks, paddles, and life jackets were dry and clean. The let-in spot at Wilsons Landing was uncrowded and the river was peaceful. We only saw one boat the entire time we were out. Conversely, we saw lots of wildlife. It was a great time! Thanks Wekiva Outfitters.

Amazing! These guys are the best! They are all super informative, down to earth, and helpful! My husband and I had a great time on day on the river via a kayak that we rented. They took us and dropped us off in a private launch area and handled the kayak for us once we got back to the Wilson Park (where they are located). It took us about 4 peaceful hours to make the trip down the river. We saw all kinds of wildlife and it was a relaxing day. First time kayaking down little wekiva river and Im so glad I did it with wekiwa outfitters! Bill was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you want any adventures on the river book it with these guys! Ill definitely do this run again! We did #4 and it was wild Florida. No one was around. ️

Love the guides, very experienced. Love the guides knowledge of the wildlife. Definitely family experience, my grandsons loved it. Very safe for all ages. The grandsons loved the manatees. They can’t wait to come back.

Great experience! The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. All the equipment was clean and in good shape. They gave me some great tips on where to go and what to expect on my trip, and they offered a number of trip/shuttle options that covered the entire length of the Wekiva River. It was an overall great experience and I ended up seeing tons of wildlife-- lots of different birds, alligators, turtles, and a couple of manatees!!

Great for a quick picnic lunch. Theres a large open area and a kayak launch with an amazing view of the river. Clean facilities.

Great guides and knowledgeable. Show you all the great things you miss on the river when you run the river without a guide. If you come to Orlando, you have to make this place a priority.

Really friendly service to two novice kayakers. Very easy and hassle free to rent the kayaks and you offered us a number of different options, even offering to pick us up after kayaking down river. Thank you for making our day! It was only by chance that we found out your location. But we had a great time on the river and highly recommend you.

We had a great experience with Wekiva Outfitters! After failing at two other canoe outposts, we called to see if they had availability and they were super accommodating! Greg (or Gary, I apologize, Greg-Gary) was incredibly nice, gave us great directions to find him, set us up with the perfect canoe for us and wished us well on our journey. He gave great advice regarding trip plans and clearly loves his job. We spent about 4 hours on the water, enjoying the beautiful scenery and encountering locals who encouraged us to play on their rope swing (for their own amusement, Im sure, but it didnt disappoint). Looking forward to going back. Pricing was reasonable, hours were flexible, and they offer other services that we didnt take advantage of but will in the future. Thanks!

Beautiful. Clean flush toilets, water fountains. The smaller pavillion has large picnic tables and 2 grills. The large pavillion has seating for more than 72 people, Electric outlets and a large ceiling fan. There is a nice pier at the waters edge. The kayak launch is far from the parking and hilly. I strap wheels to my kayak because its too far for me to carry an awkward 40 lbs kayak comfortably.

Nice park. But there is absolutely no reception anywhere in the park making it hard to communicate.

Great hidden park with with a huge Gazebo-style pavilion. Would have given 5 stars if there were a playground.

Been here tons of times. Love the quiet area.to eat or play ball in the field with the kids and fish at ramp.

An excellent launch site for the Wekiva River!

The pavilion here is amazing! The grills were large and clean. There was a fan that, despite the heat, did keep the air cooler. And there was plenty of seating. There is a large field, great for playing frisbee, flying a kite or playing soccer. The walk to the water is fairly short, but is steep for someone with a canoe. The river is beautiful as always, and we got to see fish, several birds and heard some Gators. We will return again!

Great open spaces to walk your dogs, lovely walk down to a short boardwalk that leads to a pier where you can enjoy the scenic and wild Wekiva River. Also has a canoe/kayak launch.

The best park to take a nice break and have lunch at. The trees are amazing.

Quite a beautiful and well maintained little hidden gem with a short boardwalk for fishing and sitting over the Wekiwa and a canoe launch.
