Very interesting stuff! I especially love their wall of mini towns, with historical photos from Altamonte, Longwood, Sanford, Geneva, Etc. Very very cool

Great interesting museum on local history with friendly staff and volunteers who can answer any questions a visitor may have. This place offers great insight into Seminole County and is a must-visit if you are in the area.

An event was being held on the museum grounds so I only got to see a couple of rooms. It was enough to ensure Ill be back to see more!

Very unique and interesting A little something for all ages

A best kept secret of the county. This museum is small, but they have done a fabulous job with the exhibits and displays. There is a wealth of Seminole County history to be discovered here. From the Seminole wars to the era of steam boats through to the present day, there are artifacts, photos, recreations, and hands on exhibits. There are things that appeal to all ages, with one table set up with historic games for everyone to try their hand at.

Best place to go after walking around the river front

Spent almost 3 hours there was so much to see.

A pleasant surprise. Current exhibit of artwork created from the remains of the Big Tree - The Senator - that was maliciously burned a few years ago.
