Water was very high. Many of the specs we were after were way back in the trees. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.

This is a beautiful park with a small pavilion. Most of the entertainment here is of the natural variety with hikes on the unpaved trails, views of the lake, watching the boats coming in and going out. The atmosphere is quiet and contemplative.

Nice little boat ramp, no dock though so loading people onto boats might be hard. Works well for jetskis though

So peaceful kinda mad they blocked off my area. But i still go down here. I need a boat lol

The wilderness area here is currently closed. Lots of trash and trails are overgrown/underwater. Ill try visiting again when it is officially open and it hasnt rained in a while. The view of the lake from the boat ramp is nice, saw a couple alligators.

Great place to visit if you own a boat. it does not have a lot of shade for jogging.

If you want a nice little picnic, and a relaxing walk on the trail, then you will enjoy this. We didnt see any alligators, which was what we came for. There are no bathrooms that we could find. The trees are beautiful and very unique. It is a nice place to take pictures.

Only been here once. I was down, visiting with family and decided to stop by this area. It was nice when I went. Took some photos with my husband. It was nice.

Trails under water

9500 Alligators! I swim in this lake a lot. I have kayaked it and sped around it in both of my motor boats. Did I mention: 9500 Alligators! Keep eyes wide open- comes under the heading; Situational Awareness.

Nice walking/hiking trails and beautiful wildlife. The birds here are amazing and plentiful. I came here with my three children and it was a fun time for all. Shoes get muddy so come prepared.

Sort of a park, more geared toward boating. No restrooms.

I grew up on this lake and it makes me so happy every time I come.

The park itself is more focused towards the boat ramp but there are tables and a pavilion. The palm trees in the park are perfectly spaced to set up a hammock though and its very shaded which makes it a nice place to come and relax.The hiking trails are alright but there are better ones on the east side of 417 (Marl Bed Flatts and North Tract)

Old Sanford at its best...stands of sabel palms and giant live oaks . Beautiful

Waterlogged when I went but otherwise beautiful!

No restrooms and running water would be perfect if they would have them.

This is a very nice area that has a boat ramp, picnic tables with pavilion and a trail to the conservation area.Unfortunately it doesnt have a bathroom which can be very inconvenient if you are there for a long time

Love this place. Unless you have a boat, its kinda pointless. Could be a good make out point by the water however.

This is mainly a boat launch. I wouldnt consider it a park where you would want to take the kids. We tried walking around checking things out, walking the trails and there were a lot of fire ant hills. I felt like the trail was not shaded and you need to watch out for gators... but if you own a boat then launch it here.

Theres a boat ramp, picnic area and trails entering the conservation area. The trails are not always well marked, but its a great area to explore.

Trails are shut down but great views of the lake, boat ramp and not far from the 417

This park is not able to be hiked right now. It is very wet and overgrown.

Why dont they unlock the gates? Cant park in the nice shaded area with the trees anymore. Open the gates!!!

This really isnt a park its a dock to go out on the water for boats and a bunch of homeless people live here in the woods.
