I have had many fond memories from my childhood of this park, playing in the pool nearby, on the playground, on the little springy horsey rides, driving my toy cars in the miniature skate park. Great place to build memories, and free sandbags and sand nearby, in case your house floods.
Smaller than Marinwood & Hamilton pools, but overall a great community pool for families with kids. There’s a nice toddler area in one end of the pool by the grass area. It’s closed for the season for public visit but open to lap swims and swim team training which may required only one lifeguard or none.Great on weekends in summer with the ninja warrior type obstacle course in the middle of the pool for kids to have fun something else than swimming in the pool.
Can wait for summer again. Great place for families.
A beautiful park, with walking trails and lots of nice places to picnic. They also have a Japanese friendship Garden. I could only imagine the beauty of it in its normal state; they were doing work on it and had the water turned off and the ponds drained. Still, I could tell it would be very lovely with all the water. Theres also an animal park, which requires a fee to get in so I did not see that. The park itself has a lot of parking, which is a plus, but you have to pay $10 a day to park. There is no hourly rate. So this place is great for a day with the family or a regular place to walk if you live nearby. Paying for parking every day, however, could get quite spendy.
Nice pool late afternoons when theres less people. Decent lounge chaises, grass.
The Terra Linda Community Pool was such a pleasant little Oasis and a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon! The kiddie pool area has a fountain for kids to play in while being shallow enough for everyone to enjoy, swimmers and non-swimmers alike. The main pool is separated into a number of sections: a 3-4 foot area for beginning swimmers and youngsters who are able, lap lanes, and a giant inflatable obstacle course! There were no less than 3 lifeguards on duty at all times which was wonderful piece of mind. For 15 mins each hour the pool is cleared for a cooldown period, and this also allows time for swim tests to be attempted by hopeful swimmers under a lifeguards supervision. The locker rooms here are huge and well lit and there are also ice cream vending machines for the warmest days. My family had an awesome day at the pool and we look forward to returning again before the summer is out!
Wonderful pool. I enjoy it here so much.
Not sure about the park itself--its small and quaint, but the pool looks decent. I take community education exercise classes here and the instructors are great and the staff friendly. Theres parking next to the pool or in front on the street.
It is a perfect swimming pool for an unusually warm summer day like today was.
Lovely community pool, park, and childrens playground. Picnic tables under redwood trees. A small stage facing the community building.
