This hike is beautiful. Easy to get to and moderate uphill / if youre fat and lazy like me you will sweat. just go up Robert Dollar drive and the trailhead there and when you hit the fork you can go either way because of loops. I recommend taking a right its less uphill severity. And it shaded.

I love this place the owner is an awesome guy.

The park is always filled with trash. It is the drug and drinking spot for Rafael high kids. Good spot to walk your dog. The trash is unreal though. Modello bottles and cans every where. Graffiti as well.

You can see your cjildren from almost anywhere @ any time. Tranquil & very clean.

Nice park, but not very interesting play structure, especially for small children.

Great place to do volunteer service and pick up dog doo-first rate exercise place.

Pros: Nice park, peaceful, decent play structure for kids although it is showing its age and could use some TLC. Nice little walking path and fountain / monument.Cons: It is a frequent hangout for some less savory characters at times, but the SRPD does come by regularly. Also sits on a pretty dangerous corner, but the play area is a ways away from the street. Havent seen any on the playground but there are cigarette butts and broken glass in the other areas of the open space.Overall, nice neighborhood park!

An amazing park space with unrealized potential and is in need of a major restoration. But it is by far my favorite park in all of San Rafael. Very safe, but fix the non-draining water fountain.

Great views of Mt Tamalpias, downtown San Rafael, the Richmond bridge, the bay, and beyond. Its mostly uphill. But great hike overall

We Love Boyd park! Its the most Beautiful park, with its big Oak Trees and its old time vibe! My son calls it the Castle Park. Its a magical place.
