Whut? BBQ grills? Picnic tables? YAS!

I guess because of the ongoing droughts, the drooping economy, & this plague it looks a bit unkempt but its still so peaceful. It used to be very, very, well maintained. The gardiners were there daily. Everything was nicely clipped and edged.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful tree canopy, but be ready for uneven grass and paths throughout.

Just want to thank the caring public servants of the City of San Rafael for protecting the community from germs.

Its just magical to me.

You sense this was once a pleasant and thoughtfully planned park. Its now much diminished and rundown.

Rustic, hilly, well-treed neighborhood park with big level playground area. Several picnic areas, tennis courts, basketball hoops, big hilly lawns. Tiny antique fire museum. Popular place for neighbors and out of town folks. Kudos to the long ago family who once owned this lovely estate.

Nice quiet park with lots of places to chill, place for kids to play, as well as a basketball court. I didnt explore the whole park so theres more to offer than what Ive mentioned.

Beautiful neighborhood park with all amenities and trails into semi-wild woods! Owls and Hawks spotted here.

The park is great, but, the lamp post behind the restroom is losing its globe that sits on top of it. The maintenance man says its been like that for years, but a tree branch is pushing it off. They are just looking for a lawsuit to happen. Be careful around that lamp post. It could fall on top of you.

Small but really neat park in San Rafael. I was there for the Porchfest Music Festival. Benches, places to eat, lots of shade, well manicured!

If youre looking for a nice open space for your kids, this is a good spot.It has a small but really well built place for kids to play.

A pretty park. Comfortable places to sit. Amazing trees.

Wonderful little park with a few nice open space trails in the hills above. See if you can find the long abandoned quarry. The trails ties into a fire road above the quarry and there a few more unmarked trails off of upper toyan Rd. The first trail you come to leads back down to greenwood Ave and is actually a part of an old stagecoach road that went all the way to bolinas!

Close to Downtown San Rafael. Great place to go to with children

Great old park that Ive frequented since I was a little boy. The entrance plaque is dedicated to my great-grandparents.

Park in general looks a little unkept, with the ex option if a new childrens playground.

Located in the San Rafael residential area just below Wolfe Grade. Nice shade trees and green lawns. Great for family picnics, read on a bench or to walk your dog.

Small but a nice place for gathering a group. Theres a lot of bees there in the summer. Basketball court, restrooms, and playground for kids.

I have been going here for 40 years. It is still clean and nice play area for kids and a party section in the shade that is perfect for groups.

Its a park that offers tennis courts, a large grassy area for dogs, has BBQs, basketball hoops, and has two little playgrounds, one for babies/toddlers, and one for older kids.
