This is my favorite place to hike. The views are outstanding and there is enough shade in most areas to keep you cool. Of that doesnt do it the wind will keep you cool at the top.

Great hike with views of San Francisco, Marin, and The East Bay. The wild flowers are incredible after the rain as well!

Lucas valley is beautiful. The are lizards everywhere this time of year. We enjoy spending time out here exploring.

Clear hiking path. Open to hikers and cyclists. Some free street parking available. No restrooms. Gradual climb. Be careful about poison oak.

Luiz fire road to big rock ridge is a grueling climb but extremely rewarding. Views to Sausalito and San Pablo Bay your hard work to the top is very satisfying.

Brutally exposed to the sun on hot summer days... But breathtaking in the evening... Its magic time!

Beautiful open space with a lot of moderately steep north south trails and a few easier East West trails. Best known access is probably Big Rock Trail off Lucas Valley road.

Luis Fire Road

When its foggy and wet in southern Marin, head up here for clear blue skys and warm temps. It has similar weather to southern California. Very nice.
