This is a lovely hidden jewel. Quite, serene faint sounds of wind chimes, sea gulls squawking. The trail loop is short however it runs just feet away from the marsh/reeds. Jill and i sat on the bridge in quiet reflection. Theres more of a path rather than a trail.

This is a sweet little island but to call it an island is almost an overstatement its the little bump and the middle life some water but its very beautiful to look at and its in China camp and as and a stand it originally it was going to be developed but all of the landowners who lived around the water edge decided to buy it and reserve it as a natural habitat which is a wonderful thing to do but it still has a small little bridge and a way that I can walk around it and its probably a nice little walk for people to do especially early in the morning or maybe at sunset.

Its a small island, but peaceful, with pleasant views of water, birds and hills.

Great quiet natural place for a hike. Santa Margarita is an open space, island preserve along Gallinas creek. A true hidden gem and not a waste of a hike!

Very nice....places like this are a must.

I always walk around the island while visiting my aunt. At low tide its fun to throw rocks into the deep mud under the bridge.

My go to level and natural neighborhood walk.
