Immerse yourself in nature with the drive! Fortunate this County Park is so close to suburbs a bike ride, run or drive over 101 & you have the serenity of beach, forest, views! Sunset view is terrific.
If the sky is blue and the sun is shining, Coyote Point is a wonderful place to be! The air is fresh, there are great views across the bay and way marked paths to find your way around and back. Restrooms are provided, BBQ stations and picnic areas. The architectural trees are a delight against the backdrop of the light from the bay. Go there and enjoy!!
Love this place. Was fond as a child to the slides you could go down with cardboard. Its so big and Im constantly finding new areas to this place
Went there during lockdown, a nice place to walk. Must carry a jacket as it’s windy. No car parking in the park.
Great windy spot for visiting during those relentless heatwaves. Couple very small trails around the hill, there is a small marina to its south, and a beachling to its north. Entrance $6.
Great place to start Onewheeling from. Can go North or south from here and the park itself is interesting. Can take breaks and watch the kite surfers for a while.
Really need place for everything. It got a nice beach view, park, bbq area, kids area.
After having fun at the zoo and museum, the kids needed something like a gymnasium.Too much energy from CuriOdysseythey were becoming bossy.Woo hoo!! A park nearby! They can run around and fly!Slide looks like a great big castleIts so high, but its no hassle!Monkey bars for our little monkeys,But sometimes they act like donkeys. They climbed and jumped,Oh, they were so pumped! The drive home was a breeze,A quiet sound of snooze and a little wheeze.
Lovely bird watching spot. ADA accessible path with seating 50 to 100 feet including picnic table(s). Lots of parking.
Lots of room for everyone, and a good way to beat the East Bay heat. Worth the $6 entry fee (cash only). Now allowing dogs **on leash** - although posted policy at gate says “no dogs no pets.”
Emeising view and atmosphere.
Large park with multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, views of the bay, and large slides.
Place for a jog. Or bike ride
Great park with beautiful trees, picnic areas and a playground for small kids. Also a nice place to start a walk to seal point
No other place. A must experience in San Mateo County.
$6 fee to drive into area then need a parking permit to park near the museum.
Great place for family time or just for a walk. A lot of space for picnic and a big playground. There is also a little beach and up to the hill the cat museum. It can get very crowded in the week end. But during the week, it can be very quite.
Love this little getaway from the airport hotels. So refreshing with the big trees and the beautiful views.
Its really nice place to have fun.. big park nice place with make good bbq food safe park taking a family and kids to play also its very clean area that eat enjoy drinking and eating and listening good music.. hopes all people and family having good time ..
REALLY NICE ATSMOFIER .ENJOY IN THE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER
Great place to sit and relax a comfort spot for me not too crowded but a somewhat peaceful environment
Nice park with awesome view to planes landing to SFO.
$6 per car.Huge play structure for ages of small to not so small. Does get super crowded on weekends, however. Numerous picnic tables. A small strip of beach that is nice and tranquil in the morning but can get packed full. Recently found out that beyond this beach strip is a large hiking area to explore.
Beautiful views!Sandy/rocky beach.Clean bathrooms with showers.Perfect place to take your family especially if you go to Magic Mountain Areas.
Nice area to walk. I see a lot of tree work being done (which is probably good). Beware public bathrooms close at 6 p.m.
A nice area to run and watch planes. The annual Gobble Wobble 5K/10K is a highlight of the year.
Perfect spot for families. You have the small zoo, you can watch the airplanes land, there are several playgrounds. You can bike with your kid z too
Great place to bring visitors or picnic with friends and families. See planes land and there is a small museum on the hill. Great photo opportunities. You can walk down to the wharf and there are nice restaurants nearby after your walk. We had a company party here, which was a great place for an event with 50+ people. The shelters were nice and offered plenty of space for food and shade. The park admission fee of $6 per car was paid by the company, and I’m not sure if i’d pay that myself to come back.
Coyote Point is definitely one of the most beautiful areas in the Bay Area! You can relax there, watching the sea as well as the airplanes
Beautiful park in a nice area.
Ive been going to Coyote Point Recreation area for 30 years and have enjoyed all it has to offer.
Beautiful, a hill to climb, bay water experience, sweet little wild animal resuce zoo, learning center, picnic area and free parking. Also great walking paths and along the Bay bicycle paths
Miles of trails along the water and in shaded areas. The trails were dog friendly and mostly bike friendly also (non-cycling trails are clearly marked).
This place is good for biking, wind surfing, and picnicking. People also swim here a bit but the water looks muddy af. If youre looking for a nice shady spot to relax and enjoy a beautiful view, keep looking; also they charge $6 to get in. The end.
On our visit the staff were friendly and engaging, the exhibits were well labeled and all in good working order. This place is very popular with the under-5 set but older kids can get a lot more education out of it.
Its been here a long time. Well used, lots of mature trees, harbor, playgrounds, picnic areas, bike paths, fishing. Something for everyone.
I went to have a nice picnic with my whole family and some flew in from Texas. The next day everyone woke up with bites. Literally everyone was covered in bites and these are not mosquito bites these are fleas that bite you. The bites are so big the doctor even said these are not mosquito bites they are fleas.
Went there for a work picnic and it was great. The Barbecue areas are far too close to each other, though we still had fun. The park area is beautiful, well maintained and though close to SFOs flight path, not noisy from the planes. It was actually really neat to see them coming in for a landing.
Nice place to goPeaceful, not much crowded, few birds and nice views too
Very nice place. Right on landing approach to Sf airport too cool
I love Coyote Point! Such a great park. Curioddessy museum is great for kids, the harbor is lovely, theres windsurfing, and a ton of playground and picnic areas. You can reserve group picnic areas in advance. Group sites have power, BBQ pits, or even have a food truck cater your event in the group area (provided you have them show the park service necessary documentation). Easy to get to right off 101. Great place to have a relaxing picnic with family and friends.
Great place to watch the big jets coming into SFO.
This is a clean area with multiple play structures, lots of walking trails, and nice picnic areas by the water. It has a nice welcoming feel and I look forward to coming here again.
Perfect spot for families. You have the small zoo, you can watch the airplanes land, there are several playgrounds. You can bike with your kid z too
Nice area for a swift walk along the bay shore. The smell of eucalyptus is intoxicating. Unfortunately, the park is not very clean and suffers from long-term neglect. Airplane noise if omnipresent, since the SFO airport glide path is directly above your head. Good opportunity for photographers to get a closeup of large variety of planes, getting ready to land. Just plug your ears while you enjoy the views.
Good for BBQs, fishing, and walking. You can also bring and shoot your guns at the range.
I was there for a meeting and loved the surroundings and the set up. It was like being near the beach and still like being in the forest. Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and would love to return.
Good place
It is very good. A combination of waters, picnic area and trail, with the addition of the excellent curiodyssey. Kids will have a lot of fun time ( at least a couple of hours ).
Its really nice place to have picnic with friends or families. We were WATER SPONSOR to several events like Cruise for Brews on October 6th, Bay Area Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk on October 13th and Suns Out Runs Out on August 18th and we provided unlimited oollee water to all attendees.Stay hydrated with oollee.
It is a great place to see lots of creatures.
Fun picnic for a jujitsu academy. Yearly function I wont miss
Very nice place to spend a whole day with kids.
Hidden gem of an R.V. park close to San Francisco. Cheap and safe. Not much of an R.V. park- literally just a few parking spots that have been blocked off. But perfect for a quick trip. There are only 4 R.V. spots. Electric and water. Very helpful staff and it felt very safe (there’s a front gate/guard station). Bonus: fun playground for the kids and a great view of the kite surfers. Right across the bay from the airport but the noise didn’t bother us.
Great place for a walk and picnic. Lots of pinic places with bbqs. Theres a playground for the kids and I love watching the planes come in for landing. Golf is also here and a marina.
The Marina and golf course are very nice.
So beautiful a grand place
Fun place with beach and good views.
Nice park not far from San Francisco have 4 Rv&camping spots just in front off windsurfing beach. Nice view. Awesome playground. Not comfortable hook up for rv. Not enough waterfontain and shed
It can quickly get cold. Other than that great place to picnic!
Coyote point is a nice place to go have a picnic BBQ go watch the boats go to the beach they have them museum
Nice place to take a walk and have picnic
Nice to have a day whit family
The view is great. And the picnic has a private BBQ pit under the awning lots of tables and grass area for games.
Starting from the San Mateo Bridge heading north is a series of wonderful walkways by the Bay. Then as you hit San Mateo proper, you come to Coyote Point Park. On one side there is a marina. Keep walking north up a small but pleasant hill, then you reach a museum, several breathtaking lookouts (great view of SFO approach for aviation fans), and down the other side, a small beach (pebbles) where families can hang out and cool off.
Best place to keep your boat.
Eucalyptus area was great! Bathrooms were just right there and lots of tables!
Amazing park for kids and adults! Highly highly recommend for picnic and birthday celebrations!
Nice walk and views.
Nice place for a walk
Perfect weather day. Great picnic area
Cool place for kids to play. There is an entrance fee, but it’s worth it.Bottom line: I would come here again
Expectacular place to see and walk around. I love this place.
Nice place to hang out. You can do small hikes here or do barbecue
Great park, great views. Take your kids to watch the airplanes coming into SFO, or have a bbq at the very decent picnic area. Playgrounds and trails will keep the little ones occupied. Curioddyssey is great!
Just a nice area to hang out
Nice place to have a picnic or just stroll along the shore.
Nice tree canopies and well tended to trails.
Fun to be out by the water after work Billy-goatin !
Great open space to take a run if you live in the shoreview area.
Beautiful place! We had a great time there.
Great place to do a local get away
Great place to take the kids. Very Educational. My girls had a wonderful time
Amazing place for bbq and family hangout
Great place beautiful trees nice place to hike beautiful trees beautiful views
The park is a favorite family picnic location. Dont forget to bring the bicycles.
Good for musueum and watching planes land at SFO
Fabulous birding area from near the yacht club on out, especially when the tide is going out.
I have as boat birthed here. So far so good. A well run park park.
