This place is always a fun place to go to. With great staff, awesome instruction. Have been going here for over a year. So happy they are opened back up. I was a bit rusty but able to shake off a lot of the dust with some help from the amazing coaches Allie, Mike, and Oscar. They are the reason I am a regular here and will continue to be so.
Favorite place ever. I love it here. Great for a family, work event, birthday, date you name it!
Good clean facility. RS.
Pretty cool place lots of fun
My wife, best friend and I had a slamming good time. They have a bunch of different types of axes to throw, and some non axes to throw. The shovel head is particularly satisfying.
This place Was My Boyfriend & The Groups First ; Came To Celerate His Birthday . & it was Awsome. Taylor Is The One Who Helped. She explained things Nicely & was their To Help With Any Questions Or Concerns We Had. Tottally Coming Back .!
Looked like fun if I was sober !
Had a great time, they have a military discount as well.
Such a fun experience. Did this for my birthday with a huge group and everyone had a blast. Will be going back for sure. Great service, fun environment and super affordable.
Throwing axes was pretty awesome, they also had shoves and different size axes. Staff was amazing and always willing to help with different techniques. BOOK AHEAD, don’t just show up they might be packed
Awesome experience! Easily the manliest thing Ive ever done. Came in for an hour with my GF and two friends (her idea believe it or not) and had an awesome time. Staff is friendly and helpful, and always willing to help troubleshoot our technique. We had never been axe throwing before and since then have bought several hatchets in anticipation of next time. Cannot wait to go back!
They were helpful in teaching my four boys in the technique. Great fun for the family. Highly recommend trying this place out if your looking for something out of the ordinary.
Super fun, plus the workers actively give you tips for throwing
The customer service here is top notch! The guys are so attentive and really helped our group inprove our axe-throwing game with one to one coaching!
Accommodated a very large party of my homie’s. About 10. We were given two lanes and enough axes. Very laid back and they played good music.
It’s a primal thing to wield a weapon, but to use it for sport changes things a bit. I love the outdoors, bow hunt when I have time, but had never thrown an axe for sport. I’d use it as a tool for felling trees, chopping wood and bring a portable version when camping. I think it would be infinitely more cool to use a hatchet for self-defense instead of a side arm for when prey charges you.Tucked behind Socal Batting Center, along the far wall to your left as you walk in you’ll head a noise that is very different than the sling, clang and crack of bats, but the thud of steel into wood. You’ll walk and see surprisingly little separating people from the fields of action besides a waist height fence. Once you see things in action you understand how hard it would be to ricochet an axe that far. Astro turf and barrels adorn the arena with coat/purse hooks. No chairs, this is not a leisurely endeavor, there is competition abound with the scoring like 21. Each ring is worth a different amount and majority of the blade dictates borderline decisions. You’ll fill out the waiver and pay at the end. It’s not expensive considering a 30 minute block is plenty for you to enjoy and get a feel for it. Tom one of the owners is great at teaching, but it can be loud so pay attention.Once you get the hang of it you’ll throw harder and with more accuracy, maybe play with the 1 or 2 hand method or underhand even. Please be safe everyone and get a beer or two at Wild Barrel AFTER because they won’t let you throw if you are intoxicated or smell of booze.
It is worth a visit. Fun activity.
Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful, a really fun activity!
