Looks better at night great place for a photo shoot
I like it when the art is created around the neighborhood. And by this I mean that the used books in a sense that they are birds in flight. But I feel like it is also a nod to City Lights bookstore. The fact that this has been here for a long time but it also shows that its been well-maintained and kept up.
Language of the Birds is an interesting public art piece on Columbus Ave. It is illuminated at night, but I actually prefer it during the day highlighted against a bright blue sky. It can be visited 24 hours but be aware that there are a lot of sex clubs nearby that attract interesting people at night time. #LetsGuide
Language of the Birds is a public attraction available 24/7, but its better to see it at night. Located on the corner of Broadway/Columbus Ave, its basically string light with book shape transparent housing. Intermittent flashing light illuminate the corner stopping tourist in their tracks. Thats about it for Language of the Birds.
Creative and beautiful display. Reminiscent of a mobile. Bird and book lovers will really enjoy.
