San Diego needed more comedy improv groups and venues so Im glad that I found Roar. My first experience was good but I do think that at times they veered towards raunchiness a little too often. I liked the combination of a long form comedy at first followed by several improv games. Ive seen quite a bit of improv, so all the games were self explanatory to me, but for new comers some of the games could have used a bit better explanation to the audience. All in all I enjoyed the energy and quick imagination of this young troop. The room used can get very hot in summer though and there was only one fan, so dress light if attending in that season.
