Several reconstructed buildings that were initially built for the 1916-1917 Panama–California Exposition in San Diegos Balboa Park.Current tenants include the San Diego Botanical Garden Foundation, Civic Dance Arts, the San Diego Floral Association, the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, the San Diego Junior Theatre, and the San Diego Youth Symphony.
This theater in Balboa Park is a wonderful historic venue where community arts groups show their stuff. The stage has all the bells and whistles. Add to that a suburb sound system and you have a gem of a place in a gem of a park.This year saw a wonderful production of The Nutcracker. Later in the year there is a weekend long dance festival where in troops from all over come and dance.
