Visited last week before the purple tier started in San Diego. I was impressed by how clean everything was and how organized the concession lines where. They way they separate your party from other people is convenient. I did see one person without a mask after I came out of the movie but at this point some people are just not worth the fight. Overall a great experience and I totally recommend going once they open up again.

This AMC is awesome! Best ticket prices, specially for groups and family in San Diego and always enjoy each visit. I also, recently lost my wallet with plenty of cash inside. A really great person returned the wallet to customer service and and everyone that handled it, kept it intact and nothing was missing. Feeling very happy and blessed by being a patron of AMC Palm Promenade!

I was finally able to step foot into a movie theater since 2019. The experience was great. The location made sure we didn’t have to touch much of anything assisting in limiting the spread of germs. I was there around 7:30p and not too many other patrons were in the building, that I cold see. There was maybe 15 people in the theater with myself and guest. We were all spread out and far enough to enjoy popcorn and candy. Great service, definitely worth the drive from where I live.

First time here. Very clean and prepared for social distancing. How they are handling the concession could be planned a little better. When you order your snacks, they give you a plastic container of butter for your popcorn and someone prepares your drink for you, which is fine. But when asking whats type of soda you want to drink they have to run down a whole list from the machine. Slows down the process if youre just minutes away from your movie beginning. Also, they are not doing any refills. So be prepared for that. I believe thats AMC worldwide policy, so dont let that cause you to get upset and ruin your experience.

Its a nice theater no very crowded

This is my favorite theater. Has a very friendly staff. Excellence sound quality and has the best ticket prices. Movie theater Maybe a little old but I dont mind. Ive been going here since it open. As a movie goer I am so glad that AMC is open again. Going to the movies is one of my favorite pastimes. A big screen, air conditioning, Great Sound, and popcorn, soda I cant ask for more

Please, please,please open up again and have movies that distract us from life. We miss this place so much. Always a pleasure watching movies here

03/11/2020: What a beautiful experience it was to come and watch a movie! (I didnt mind the construction near the theater, just some expansion to the shopping center.)The staff were kind and attentive, and their service was great! Not only that, I got to watch Sonic the Hedgehog! It left me with hopes of waiting on a possible sequel!Thanks, AMC, for this wonderful experience!

The lack of people really helps in keeping the place clean. Glad to see the theaters opening up again.

Great prices for your entrance! Comfortable seating. Took our 1 1/2 yr old grandson for his first movie. He enjoyed it! Adult beverages are provided. Food and beverages are pricey!

One of the best theatres Ive ever been to! The seating is comfortable, its clean, and the tickets are generally inexpensive. My only problem is that the food and snacks are quite expensive, but thats how it is in most theaters. So overall they create a great experience!

So great . Has all the movies

A worker named Ivan really went out of his way to make a great experience for us. My daughter dropped her cheese sticks and started crying, he came over and told her it would be okay, made her a fresh batch and made her feel like a princess. We were there to watch frozen and she was dressed up as Elsa. Thank you Ivan, you are amazing!

Its a really nice movie theater.....Prices are great, the place is clean & employees are super friendly.The atmosphere feels a little magical like a movie theater should.The only thing I dont like is the new restrictive reserve seating process......It sort of ruins the magical home town theater atmosphere thing.Its still really nice & easy to watch movies at....!!!!

Best place to watch movies. Cheap, now serves alcohol i believe, overall pretty clean. Just make sure they have the movie you are wanting to watch.

This place would get 5 stars from me if the darn kiosks werent ALWAYS out of order when I go. Its safe, clean, lots of movies to choose from and its like 5 bucks if you go before 6 !!! Cant beat the price.

Always have a great experience except for one time with a person that had to ruin the last 5 minutes of a movie for not being able to handle an alcoholic drink. While another threw a drink up to this loud person. Causing 10 people to literally run out in a panic and get security which acted quickly.

Not as comfortable as the newer AMC locations. Also they closed and sold part of the theater so it should be called 14 instead of 24. But they boast the least expensive tickets and are the closest AMC to me, so I still enjoy going on occasion.

Prices are great but you get What you paid for. Theatre is dirty w sticky floors. Theatre needs a refurbishment w new carpet . Other amcs charge double but much cleaner. We saw first movie of the day so no excuse for dirty floor ans seats.

This theater is not only enormous, clean and well staffed but it is also incredibly affordable. The least expensive movie tickets in the San Diego area.

Been my local theater for years! Very affordable movie tickets, food inside is very overpriced! Also, the staff could be better with more professional service.

If felt going back to the theater after months of being closed its just its not the same as it used to be

It looks great in the lobby, but the seats are disgustingly dirty and some are even sticky. The theater I was in had a nasty, old garbage smell. The sound cut off a couple of times during the movie and we could actually hear the speakers make noise/complain. The movie also started a whole 30 minutes late despite multiple attempts to notify staff. They also forgot to turn the lights on after the movie was finished. A bad experience all around.

Great location. Updates are being made. Staff seems a bit tired, but pleasant enough. This is a great place to look for movies not in English.

Decent theater, decent prices. Could use a bit more clean in the theater rooms.Just saw Endgame, thankfully the people watching stayed quiet except for the ending battle. I wont spoil how things went. Go watch it. If you enjoy Marvel movies, you will enjoy this film.Unfortunately Im moving in a month and a half so Ill need to find new theaters.

We love going to this theater but tonight we discovered they have a complete section of parking blocked off next to it, so we had to park far away. Especially since its a really busy location with other busy shops located and sharing the same valuable spaces. I truly hope it isnt blocked off for another building to be built there. Otherwise Im going to have to find another theater with better parking.

This place is all ways busy!! I would recommend to order ticket(s), food, and drinks through the app before hand! Makes its easier to go in without a hassle. The only thing right now I dont like is the parking. Parking here is small especially theres construction going on. Ill change this review once I see how this new building is done especially with the new business right next door.

The theater for the most part is much more cleaner than others I have been too. The screening room with seating is almost clean. They do a good job at this location. The customer service is good and ticketing prices are one extremely reasonable for the level of care to the facility and the comfort and cleanliness that one is excepted to receive when wanting to wind down and enjoy a good movie.

Great prices on movies! Thats why The parking lot is ALWAYS packed. But once yr inside it isnt crowded, which is awesome. Best to buy tickets online so u just walk up to the doors. You can choose yr seats, another awesome thing. Staff are friendly. Establishment is clean. Totally recommend.

The movie ticket prices are really good can take my family of 5 at a half price from other theaters.

The movie theater itself is good, the reason for my rating is because of the parking lot. If youve got a wide car good luck fitting into these tiny parking spots without getting boxed in. I had to park on the complete other side of the lot and find an area without any cars in it in order to park.

Good price cool theater

This was a brand new facility when I was teenager. 24 theaters?!?!?! It used to be the spot to go see a movie and this was strange cause usually you would want to see a movie at a mall to eat and hang out before and after the movie but this was just a standalone theater next to a Home Depot and Walmart BUT even with that, it was always busy here and premiere events were always CRAZY.UPDATE: nowadays it is dark, dingy and dirty. There is construction and not sure what is being built out but the theater has not been kept up and updated. It is like it needs to have a pressure washer shot at it. The prices are really good and you get what you pay for. I will continue to take the kids here just cause we are AMC members and the price is right where I need it to be to take 3 kids to a childrens movie.

I love how affordable the prices are here compared to other AMCs. The service is always friendly and ready to help. My only complaint is the crowd that goes here. Be prepared for people yelling and adding commentary throughout the movie. The price you pay for cheap tickets.

This AMC has only gotten better, new bar for your adult beverages to the tastiest snacks your tastebuds are craving, Along with low admission prices this AMC will always be a weekly treat for me.

This is my favorite theater to go to. Even during the construction next door, nothing was affected by our visit. Cant wait to see the new expansion. All the workers are real nice.

A lot of construction makes it hard to park and get around. Numerous people unable to park between the lines, wasting a lot of spaces, even with small cars. Nice to see homeless sleeping around areas where kids hang out.

The theater might feel a little old but you cant beat the price on the movies. Buy your tickets online to save you the headache of waiting line. The concessions line can get a bit long. Get to your movie early if you want to get popcorn or any snacks. They also have a reusable bucket of popcorn you can buy for $18 for the year. You can get it refilled for $5. Its good for 2-3 people. IMAX and 3D movies are super affordable here! You cant beat the value of this place!

The AMC Classic is my favorita theater to go to. The prices everyday are way more affordable that anywhere else and on Tuesday tickets have an additional discount. The whole surrounding is going through renovation and construction going on where more shops will be adjacent, and perhaps attached to the theater.But the most exciting change for me is that this place finally has a bar within the theater. Definitely will comeback to this theater even more often than before.

My family and I go here almost every week. It is very easy to purchase a ticket and you can become an AMC stubs member which has many benefits such as having your own, shorter line and getting discounts on multiple items. One thing I dont like though is that the theater can be quite dirty at times.

Well saw the movie malevolent, was amazing, earlier show 20 minutes too late. Paid for Imax, that should come with options of earplugs. I left there with a headache.

This theater is nice, but what sets it apart from other theaters, even other AMC, all movies before 4pm are $5, and I mean all movies! Also highly recommend the AMC app and the Stubbs reward program, you will save a lot of money!

Brought grandson to see Addams family There is a lot of construction going on arpund the theatre. So parking is limited right now. Found a spot made it in and had the kids pack for him. I like the fact that you can reserve a seat. Unfortunately someone was in mine. The theatre spoke to her but she was not cooperative. So we picked two other seats.

I always enjoy going to the movie theater. Its one of the more affordable movie theaters in the San Diego area, and the customer service is pretty good as well. The bathrooms are decently clean, and the seats are fairly comfortable. my recommendation is to try to come in the middle of the day on a weekday. On the weekends it gets really really packed, and it could be hard to find a good seat. Come by on a Tuesday afternoon though, and you can watch a movie for less than $10 in a virtually private theater.

DESCRIMINATES SPECIAL NEEDS AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT the Autism society has a program that is called sensory friendly films, where people with special needs can watch the movie with the volume not all the way up and the lights dimmed. Palm Promenade advertised they are participants and when we get there no one knows anything and they want my severe autism child to just go on a regular audience film, this is not the first time this happens, the last time we where told it was sensory friendly and it wasn’t, needless to say we had a very hard day since my daughter has very sensitive ears and couldn’t handle the sound,today she was ready to watch Aladdin and we wanted to make sure it was sensory friendly, no one even knew what it was and I showed them the advertisement, their manager Cassandra told me they couldn’t just put a movie for her, but I wasn’t asking for that I was only asking for what was advertised then she said sometimes they have different schedules so I asked when was the sensory friendly showing and of course they didn’t have anything scheduled. It is very frustrating when your child really wants to watch a movie and they only have one day at one time to watch it and you get there and it turns out they can’t watch it, of course right after we had a big melt down from an autistic 14 year old, It is very unsensitive from AMC palm promenade to do that to an autistic child

Great big jumbo theater with 24 screens and estimate movies to choose from. Lots of parking and easy access makes this movie house one of our go to places for our cinema experiences. BONUS is the snack bar has pretty fast lines and self serve butter for your popcorn.

We go see spiderman and we were assigned seating. The movie been out for a while. And saw lots of seats available and we had to seat in the front. I hope this review changes your seating. Does not make sense. A new movie yea I can see that happening but a movie that been out. No I do not see the reason why for assigned seating.
