I went for the Romanian food festival and Dracula Fest and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend it next Halloween as theyve been doing it three years in a row now! The food was great and the music was a lot of fun. They had traditional dances and traditional costumes as well as a few traditional home crafts. It was easy to spend a couple hours theyre just eating and relaxing. There is a playground for the little kids right nearby so parents can relax while the kids have a blast and still be able to participate in the festival

So far I really dig it. Except almost dying in the outfield from potholes in the ground. Theyre deep and dangerous. Torn ACLs and broke ankles all day in these fields.

I went for the Reggae Festival on July 27, 2017. The park was clean. There were many vendors in the park and the sound equipment was decent. There were several police walking around to provide safety to the patrons and no unlawful behavior was observed. The hosted event ended well. It would have been great if more musicians showed up and if the entrance fees at the door were reduced.

Always an amazing time at Rosedale Park especially if theres an event going on. Chilling with Trampia n running into The Brown Impressions Crew is always a blast.

Been here for a long time. This a child hood place . like the upgrades they made over the years, my kids like it there, they say Im oldbecause this place had been here before me, because my mom would bring my sisters, my daughter looks at us like freakin dinosaurs . . but it is a great park for all occasions (PARTY )

Restroom was not well attended. The food was way too greasy. The wait person was very nice. Ill order the caldo next time. Everyone should get a second chance.

Fun in the cold

This park is ok. The location is decent. I go here every year to take part in the Romanian Festival Dracula Fest in October (open to the public and quite enjoyable). Otherwise I dont go here because I live far from it.

Cool place to go chill.

Nice park with rolling hills and lots of good grass. Swings and other playsets looked in good shape and fully functional. Lots of parking and busy with people.

As far as parks go in San Antonio its not bad but there are much better parks like Phil Hardberger or Espada. Good fishing on that one.

Always enjoy the conjunto’s from the valley.

Rosedale hosts great events, beautiful large Park with lots of different amenities.. baseball, soccer, BBQ and pavilions

The field is great but I am very sad almost everyone has left to the torros (which is a team I dont like) we might not be able to have a team this year and I am very upset about. My father has been with the yellow jackets since he was a kid but we are no longer going to be able to continue to be with them unless we get kids to play with our team ( I am a young child 11 years old)

It has parking and restrooms. Good covered plaza. If you are going to an event bring cash.

This was ok. Could really be expanded on. Should have at least 4different stores selling entirely different wares. Didnt see anything of Drac there.

The Car Show had some very nice (back in the day) vehicles. On the other end of the park they had food stands and accessory stands. They had a concert. And a Wrestling Ring set up for anyone wanting to be a contestant. Ticket Prices were $20.00. And was not pet friendly. We had an awesome time. Sharp looking vehicles. Very friendly atmosphere.

As part of my community service cleaning and up keep if this park took me a better part of my day. By the time we were done all trash receptacles, pavilion, and all picnic tables were clean as were the grounds, hope you all enjoy the park!

Awsum place to spend a weekend whether its a car show or music fest. Feels great to go back to the roots every now and again.

Advertised a big school/ backpack give away ! It was such a waste of time pluse kids were hot and hungry !!! Came away with a ruler and two pencils plus a bottle of water and 1 hot dog but no supplies.Lots of vendors peddling their wares for $. Bad to put families already going thru hardship in the heat and hungry struggling with there kids waiting in a line for more than two hours for non existing supplies !!! Before we left we heard that backpacks would be given out at 3pm but it started at 1 pm. The line formed at 11 am. We left hungry, overheated and angry at being decieved.This activity I heard was organized by Last Chance Ministries. Very disorganized and misleading !!!

Its ok beacuse it has a stage for events and a playground but I wanted more than left out space

Poor parking to cover three fields, usually playing all day. SAPD will ticket for any infraction of parking codes. There is no security, car has been burglarized twice. Absolutely no outside food or drinks but concession frequently runs out of WATER & food.stands are uncovered. Bring your own shade. Baseball fields only, so little for non playing children to do during games.

Very spacious, well lit up at night, baseball fields were pretty clean.

Its my Home! I Love It

It is a nice a park to hang out and enjoy the fresh air. Small hill side which is pretty good exercise, a skate park for us tweens, teens, and/or skaters, a nice field for relaxing and laying in the cool grass. Bring umbrellas, blanket, and some snacks. There is pretty much room all around. Have fun in the area.

I am an employee at the YMCA, and i get to see Ruiz Park everyday. And notice it to be a Neat and clean park, that you can bring your family to.As well they do Host events and the residents around this area also likes this park

I was at the park for a musica y tacos event. The park has nice facilities including baseball and sports fields, a stage, and areas for vendors or concessions. Everything was reasonably clean, although i didnt check the bathrooms. The stage was attached to a pavilion that included tables and chairs.

New (covered) VIA bus stops, new grass, basketball courts, YMCA, skate ramps, basketball courts, softball/baseball field, outdoor free gym, & a tennis court... this place is awesome as of lately after years of not visiting!

Great West side San Antonio park home to serverl music festivals including Counto. Reggae, etc they have great food booth and vendors at events. Plenty of free parking. Wheel chair access. Great for th he whole familie.

Always empty and open. I have the whole park to myself Everytime.

I go here for the skatepark. Its not my favorite one, but its cool once in a while when its really been a while. Lock your car and keep your worthy possessions close. Bad area, lots of hoodlums around. lol.
