This tour will excite even the unenthusiastic.Our tour guide Mae exceeded by far all my expectations. Im usually not into ghost stories, but I got excited just by listening to her. I would do it again with family and friends. Loved that she took the extra time after the tour to take us back to the Emily Morgan Hotel to give us more information about the incredible details of the architecture. Shes very genuinely passionate. Best tour experience Ive ever had. Thanks Mae and the rest of the team.

I cannot recommend Sisters Grimm enough! The walking tour was fantastic. Entertaining and so much history packed into an hour and a half. Dan was our tour guide and he not only knows San Antonio History but his passion for it shines through strongly in his presentation. The walking tour is also completely dog friendly. I took my dog and another couple on my tour had theirs and the dogs enjoyed the walk and smelling all the smells of San Antonio. Thank you Sisters Grimm for a fantastic experience! On my next visit I will definitely be trying the bus tour!

Very cool experience, I didnt know what to expect but I loved the detail to history and respect to the dead the tour guide gave. Mae was my tour guide, she know her stuff when it comes to ghosts and she kept the tour going on the way back after the ghost stops, very informative. I loved her makeup/costume, it looks like they have fun with that. I like that you can take pictures for your ghost own experience but it is a little spooky. There is so much history in San Antonio this was a great way to step into it.

This was a great tour! Mae, our tour guide, was funny and very informative. She had all kinds of stories and pictures that she shared along the way. The tour was suppose to end at 10, but Mae never looked at her watch or tried to end it early. Even walking us back to the starting point, she told us other little stories about other places!We’ve done these tours in other cities like Houston and Charleston and this tour was top notched!!! Highly recommend!

This was absolutely the best Ghost tour Ive ever been on and Ive been on many across the states. Captain Dan (Daniel) was fabulous! He was loud enough for all 32 in attendance to hear and knowledgeable of all the history surprising all of us at every turn. He was very animated and kept our attention the whole time! His outfit was awesome because he was dressed as an old fashioned authentic cowboy with spurs on his boots that made noise every step! He was attentive to all of us and made us feel welcome and even struck up conversations here and there! We were very fortunate to have two tour guides, got to hear the fantastic stories from Sean as well who was also dressed to kill! Both made sure were were safe and even stayed behind to check on the slower ones on the tour. They both had loads of character and patience with all of us and let us take as many pictures as we wanted! I even got to take a selfie with both of them at the end! Wow what a night! Please do yourself a favor and ask for Captain Dan or Sean and take this tour! Unforgettable experience you will treasure for years to come!

My sister and I went on the tour last night, James was an amazing tour guide, he definitely made the experience with his sense of humor and knowledge, and the driver was amazing as well. They are a great duo. The tour was very fun and filled with so much history I didn’t know about. I loved that we got to go inside these places instead of just walking outside. The cemetery was my favorite part!

Our tour guide was Sean, We attended this tour Wednesday night September 9, 2020. It was a dark and stormy night....true story, by the third stop the skies opened up and it started pouring, but it was the best tour ever. Sean knew his history and he was very entertaining we learned a lot. My husband and I had so much fun tonight and I would highly recommend you take the time and do this tour.There are plenty of haunted hotels in San Antonio so next time you come back he’ll give you a suggestion where you should stay.

Celebrating our 20 years of marriage in downtown San Antonio !! We are guests of the famous Haunted Menger Hotel and decided to take a ghost tour with Sisters Grimm which is conveniently located outside the Menger Hotel .Sean was our tour guide and he was brilliant!! Wow! Worth every dollar! This walk was a great way to learn about the forgotten history of san antonio and hear a bit of spooky stories along the way. My spouse and I wanted to do something special for Halloween this year. Whenever we travel, we usually schedule a ghost tour, and have been on several different ghost tours in many different cities across the country. We have enjoyed all of them. Until today.This was the worst experience we have ever had on a ghost tour. We ended up just walking away and finding something else to do. I have NEVER walked out on a tour in my entire existence.Our tour guide had poor delivery and was so concerned with pulling up pictures on her iPad.Not entertaining. Not funny.We came to San Antonio from Houston to do this ghost tour. I am completely disappointed.

Our tour guide was top notch. We have been on other tours here and none have even come close to this one. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even made my daughter jump twice! It was late when the tour was over so our guide walked us all the way back to our parking lot to make sure we were safe. On our way back he told us more stories about San Antonio and even shared pictures of ghosts. He was awesome.

We took the bus tour. Shawn gave a great tour. Petey drove the bus and added comic relief. This was a history tour of some of San Antonios most haunted places. I am glad they did not have any gimics or illusions rigged. Stops included Menger Hotel, City Cemetery # 1, the old red light district, and the Gunter Hotel. We even got to see inside room 620 at the Gunther hotel. Formerly room 636 before the remodel.

Best ghost tour ever! Our tour guide was the best and provided us with tons of actual historical facts-not just a bunch of folk tales like other companies. Interaction and questions were encouraged. The best part was being able to actually walk inside some of the stops-especially the cemetery at dark! Our driver was actually the owner and he could not have been more helpful and considerate with my husband’s need to use his wheelchair. These guys are the BEST!!!

I took an amazing ghost tour last night with Mae. We had such a great time. She was super informative and knew her stuff. We got to hear all kinds of stories about not just ghosts but the history of the city as well. I definitely recommend taking a tour with her.

We enjoy taking ghost tours and have taken them across the country. We have to admit we were incredibly disappointed with this tour. Left the tour early it was so bad. We took a tour with Alamo City Ghost Tours the next day. I would suggest you take a tour with Alamo City Ghost Tours. This was the cheesiest tour we have ever been on and Alamo City Ghost Tours were so amazing!

Our tour guide, Sean, was very interactive with the group and was excellent at telling the history and stories. Excellent way to spend an evening in San Antonio. We did a tour with a different company and it wasnt nearly as fun. Planning on taking the bus tour in the future.

Our party of six had a fantastic time on the bus tour. Our guide Shawn(?) and driver James were excellent. Not only knowledgeable but also entertaining. We have done ghost tours in many different cities and we all agreed that this was one of the best. This was an interesting historical tour of the city. Took some interesting pictures that made us wonder and one at the Spanish Governor’s Palace has an image that we are unable to disprove ( we went back the next night and tried).

We had a great time learning about the haunted history of several downtown buildings, many of which Ive passed by before without a second thought. Our guide, Jennifer, was a great storyteller and had lots of interesting tidbits of information to share. If you are at all intrigued by the possibility of the supernatural right in the heart of San Antonio, I would recommend this tour!

During our tour last night, my husband and I were both taking pictures, while standing side by side. We took many pictures of The Alamo. The two sets of pics I have uploaded were taken from both of our cell phones. Both of his pics differ from mine, so I looked up the time stamps from all four pics. Both of his pics and my pics were all taken within one minute apart! Wow!!!Dinner and the tour were great, as well as our tour guide!

Sean was so theatrical and made the whole experience fun for us. We had adults and kids on the tour and they all stayed engaged to what he was saying. There was a gentleman that drank a little and got a little disruptive a couple of times, however, Sean handled him with professionalism. Eventually we will go back to do a bus tour with Sisters Grim and plan to request him as our tour guide again. Thank you for the fun experience Sean and the extra knowledge you gave us as we walked back after the tour.

This tour was amazing. The dinner was delicious. I love that I got the chance to look at one of the most haunted suites. Hope to be a guest one day and maybe even have my wedding reception there one day. And as for ghosts before going in the most active suite I heard little kids giggling behind me while on the 2nd floor which is the floor with the most activity. The only kid in the tour was a little girl but she was quiet and in front of me. And these laughs sounded like they came from someone less than 6 years old. Also before we even started the tour someone played with my ponytail. I have very thick long hair so its easy for me to feel it. I was very still and my boyfriend didnt do it. I would have felt his hand. I have had many paranormal experiences in my life but having one in the Meneger is more exciting. Time to cross that off my bucket list.. The guide was a great story teller and made it entertaining. He was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job with his puns.Ps I do plan on doing the walk and bus tour one day.

We did the bus tour, let me start off by saying the bus driver Texas Pete (I believe thats his name) was absolutely hilarious and our tour guide James was great, friendly, funny and super knowledgeable of all things haunted San Antonio. On this tour you go to the Menger Hotel, the graveyard, the old red light district and the Sheraton/Gunter Hotel.Quite a few places for a great price that all have very interesting history!Theres so much interesting haunted history we learned on this tour, and some I unlearned as well.James and Pete were great and their banter on the bus was absolutely hilarious.Make sure you use the bathroom before you head out on the tour!No bathroom breaks on the tour. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone.

Wow, such a great ghost tour! Our tour guide was AMAZING - engaging and funny. We booked the walking tour because it was a dog-friendly activity for us to enjoy during our vacation, and were so happy we did. The tour was full of interesting history and let me know which hotels to visit for my paranormal fix. Our tour guide was so nice and continuously made sure our pooches were keeping up as we moved through the streets. I highly recommend this ghost tour!

This tour was excellent, we did the walking tour and let me tell you, if you sign up for this tour definitely be prepared to walk as thats how you transition from one haunted place to the next. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing because you will be walking and standing the whole time. I loved getting to know so much history about the hauntings in San Antonio, my favorite haunt we went to was the Menger Hotel. Finding the place to meet can be a little confusing. You walk past the Menger and youll see a mall up ahead, if you head down as if you were going to the indoor mall, youll see the meeting place on your left. My bf and I almost couldnt find the meeting spot and Mark called us so we wouldnt miss our tour! Super helpful! A great way to spend a couple hours if you love ghost stories!

This walking tour is a wonderful way to explore the creepy side of San Antonio history. The photos and stories of previous guests’ observations provided a truly authentic experience. The starting location was also easy to find (between the Menger Hotel and River Center Mall). Sean was an excellent guide! He had a great sense of humor, audible voice, and used a tone that perfectly fit the nature of this tour. Highly recommended!

I had an absolute blast during the Ghost Bus Tour. Texas Pete is incredibly knowledgeable about the history in San Antonio. His story-telling capabilities are definitely unmatched. When he spoke, we all listened. The driver, WC, was also absolutely hilarious. I had a great time. Definitely my favorite ghost tour to date.

Sean was awesome. The tour was the perfect balance between history and learning about the paranormal around the beautiful riverwalk-esque and Alamo locations with the right amount of comical relief. A real captivating story teller. Frankly I’m not sure if he’s a history teacher or a drama instructor because the man can do both. Would definitely come again for the attractions they have during the weekend post-pandemic when I’m back in town. The prior photos people have taken on this tour were super cool too.

The tour was more historical than scary. My EMF did go off a couple of times when I was alone but otherwise uneventful. Our tour guide, Kelsey, and bus driver, Pete, were pretty awesome though. They had a really great dynamic. The tour was informative and thoroughly entertaining!

Weather prevented us from taking the walking tour but we had an extended tour of the Menger Hotel and our guide, Texas Pete, was funny and informative. We have vouchers to take the walking to her on another day. The company is very accommodating to the unpredictability of the weather. We may even have captured something on video!

Texas Pete was an amazing tour guide! The dinner was also really good and came with good sized portions. My favorite part was touring the city and getting little facts in between. He’s very knowledgeable and confident about what he’s talking about.

Went to amazing spots all over downtown San Antonio and had a wonderful time. Kelsey had the most wonderful opera singing voice. I would pay to take the tour again just to watch her in her element. From start to finish, each spot we visited was filled with rich, San Antonio history, but not so much that you become overwhelmed with the details. City Cemetery #1 was the perfect place to end our tour! As a cherry on top, we had the pleasure of hearing Kelsey sing a piece of an opera song. Such a treat! Im a local and Ive never been on a tour of the city, but i was pleasantly suprised by the amount of history and insight that was provided by our tour guide. I throughly enjoyed my time ghost hunting and learning about my beloved city. our guide was lovely and had a beautiful opera voice of which she kindly shared with our tour and our bus driver was hilarious and made the ride enjoyable as well. I loved how they incorporated slides and photos of the deceased and corrected local myth with fact. My boyfriend and I were in a spooky mood and I definately got my fill. Please remember to bring cash to tip your guide, we only had card so we could not show our appreciation as we should have. They work very hard to entertain and make it such a great experience!

There were three of us ladies in our Sisters Grimm dinner tour, with Texas Pete as our tour guide. The tour began with a nice steak dinner at the Menger Hotel seated at a large group table where we engaged in lighthearted conversation with others in our tour. Dinner was followed by 1.5 hours of leisure walking, accurate history, and a some entertaining stories about ghosts of the Alamo. The best thing about the tour was the history of the Menger and the expressive delivery by TEXAS PETE. Request him as your guide, and youre sure to enjoy your evening entertainment.

Awesome part of our family trip to San Antonio. Kelsey is an awesome tour guide and when you add in her side kick Mr. Pete the driver, you have the dynamic duo for a great night out. Kelsey is energetic, funny and an AMAZING singer. I dont listen to opera as a choice but can certainly appreciate an AMAZING talent. Our group agreed that one day we will be hearing about Kelsey being discovered on one of her tours. What a great addition. Thank you both!!!

Tour was fun especially thanks to our guide/ driver duo Kelsey and Pete. Really enjoyed looking around the cemetery with our ghost hunting gear lol. The bonus shirt Opera performance from Kelsey was superb and in no way mediocre. :)

Great tour and overall fabulous experience! Texas Pete was out Ghost tour guide and the group I was with was thrilled and held on to his every word. Texas Pete is a master story teller and I highly recommend the experience.
