Amazing theater located in North Salt Lake. My kids loved watching Pete the Cat and have seen several other fun plays over the years! The actors and actresses are very engaging and the question and answer time after the play is so much fun for the kids. Kids also look forward to the sugar cookies which are fantastic and custom-made for each play. There is plenty of parking located just in front of the theater or in the school next-door. Ticket prices are very reasonable and well worth it. We even got to say hello to the SLAC cat who greeted us when we arrived to the theater.

I took my almost 4 year old daughter and my mom to see Pete The Cat - it was SO GOOD. The whole cast was so talented and the show was super fun. Everyone who is a part of this theater from the moment you walk in is really warm and friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience!

Obviously I dont love every show equally, but this organization consistently stages quality and diverse shows. They do a great job with an intimate space in terms of set design. Their support staff does excellent work, and we always enjoy our time there. Season tickets have been worth every dollar.

Im constantly baffled why there arent more Salt Lakers who make it a priority to see the Saturdays Voyeur show each year. Think Mormons are really nice but kinda weird? Confused about Utah liquor laws? This is your show. The tickets to all their shows are very reasonably priced. Plus....wait for it....you can bring your own snack and wine/beer into the intimate theater with YOU! Put some pants on, open the blinds, stop reading this review and buy a damn ticket.

We always have a blast at Salt Lake Acting! The holiday plays are my favorite- last years Pinkalicious turned my now 5 year old daughter into a major theater junkie! This years Pete the Cat was just as amazing. Many thanks to the cast and staff for humoring her intense desire to meet Pete and the Cat Catcher, for being patient with her questions and making the experience an incredible one for her.

Hilarious! Entertaining! Comical.... I could go on and on and on and..... But the absolute truth is. The actors are very talented and enthusiastic about what they are doing and if I recommend anything it would be to catch a showing of their Saturdays Voyer. And just Remember to have a sense of Humor! Not a bad attitude or a stick up your back end!!

To be honest, I went to the theater to audition for a show...Its been a minute since Ive done a theatrical production... So my nerves? High. Not the fun 420 high.. Unless you mean that after moment of paranoia that one can feel after a 420 high... Thats more where I was...That said, I cant tell you how refreshing it was to meet the lovely Natalie that eased any and every type of nerve that I had built up..I then fumbled my way into the audition room and met with Cassie, Al and Cynthia.. Sang a version of moving too fast... That sounded similar to a record playing in a vehicle on a very bumpy dirt road.. Then rolled around on the ground pretending to yoga and at the same time begging them all to LIKE ME..They were kind, professional, and just wonderful people. The best part? The whole encounter ended up feeling quite refreshing.I appreciate SLAC for that! Thanks for allowing me to make a fool of myself... And feel great about it!Yall are just wonderful..

Took kids for Pete the cat and pinkliciouse production. Very low key and comfortable. They set up mats right next to stage for kids to sit on. End of play they ask kids some questions. They are famous for annual Saturday Vouyer that is parody of utah life and politics (adults only) you can take your dinner and wine with you. Nice activity for date nights or kids

I took my five-year-old son to see Pinkalicious. SLAC made the experience wonderful for him. They had available small, very reasonably priced treats for kids and adults and the accompanying book on sale. They also had a Q&A session after the show for the children. Finally, I had to call multiple times to ask about ticketing and policies and each time I connected with courteous, creatively helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this theater!

What a fun, interactive, super positive experience for the family. You can bring in your own food and treats. Loved the glitter, bubbles, and clapping along with the songs. If you love bubbles, make sure to sit on the front row. The casts Q & A part at the end was great. I liked how small the venue was because every seat was a good one.

Being newer to Salt Lake our family members told us that we needed to go to Salt Lake Acting Company for Saturdays Voyeur. We had a great time and wished we had brought along a picnic and some wine for the show. Please be warned that this particular show is very liberally based. If you are conservative or LDS you would not likely enjoy this show.

If ever a review deserved zero stars, it would be this place!Visited to watch Saturday’s Voyeur.. The script and story are so fragmented and disjointed, it’s hard to follow. The anti-American sentiment was unending and scripted cussing for reactive humor was intolerable. Imagine school children saying ‘fart’ over and over and laughing at their own joke and you’ll have a good idea of how great this will be for you.

Ive made attendance at Saturdays Voyeur a new tradition. Ive gone the last three years. The theater here is small and intimate, but fully-featured. The previous two years Ive attended, I thought the show was funnier than it was in 2016. It was still funny, but a little shallower and the story made a lot less sense. Even so, I had a great time and will definitely be going back for another Saturdays Voyeur.

SLAC is amazing. We have been subscribers for the past few years and couldnt be happier! They are not afraid of taking on the plays that ask tough questions and walk the line between what is and what should be socially acceptable. If youre mortality is aligned with that of the predominant religion of the state or you are easily offended you may want to avoid this place, but if you have an open mind and feel that people should be able to make their own choices this is the perfect place to see some wonderful acting and thought provoking plays. If you have kids also be sure to attend their Christmas plays.
