Great venue for music, theater or laughs. With just under 2000 seats, there is really no bad seat in the house.I have seen One Man Star Wars to the Blue Man Group to Dr. Kaboom!Love the history, sounds and line of sight from the floor or the balcony.A short hike across campus of the University of Utah from your parking space. But worth the hike.

Kingsbury hall has so much culture! We have attended 4 shows so far this year, both with my kids and without. They are very accommodating with boosters for my younger kids, and have cool pre and post show activities to deep dive into the play.

The venue is great, but I refuse to give a good review for any venue that charges $20 in fees. Paul Reubens tickets advertised at 39 dollars, but are actually 60 by the time you get to checkout. Absolutely ridiculous.

Celtic Women was awesome! Kingsbury Hall is a great old venue. Fantastic architecture. The seats are kind of hard, and close together. We bought a water bottle for $2 and it was one of those little mini ones, not even a full sized water bottle. Really? And then the drinking fountain didnt have any water pressure.

We’ve been coming here for years for Thriller. Parking is a challenge but we have learned to arrive a few hours yearly and get lunch or dinner. The seats are pretty small and uncomfortable but I’ve never had a bad spot in the theatre. We went to thriller on Saturday and they were letting people in 50 minutes after the show had started and shining their flash lights on the tickets for people to find their seats. It was very distracting. If people arrive after a certain time they should have to wait until the intermission to be seated. Overall it’s a nice, clean place.

Not a bad place if you are about 5 foot tall. Beware of the online ticket sales! Check everything carefully, I ended up paying for a seat I touched to just check the price, and a handling fee plus a facility fee plus a rental handling fee (=$38) was added on the final receipt. At the venue there is no parking. You must Really Want to see the performance.

The availability of a nearby parking structure, just a short walk away, is a huge benefit. We enjoyed this intimate venue where we could easily see Roseanne Cash and Kris Kristofferson. Awful parking situation, they have no information on where visitors can park without being ticketed and they do not reserve any parking for the hall on nights that they have events. You would think that the stadium would work for overflow parking, but they do not allow it so it sits mostly empty.

Absolutely beautiful building. The art designs in the theatres are very pretty. The place is clean. Bathrooms have lots of stalls. I think the only downfall is the spacing between seats my knees practically hit the person in front of my seat. And for someone who is 5 foot seven with mostly just legs I felt bad for anyone who is taller than me. Other than that it was great I have turned a couple times to this theater for several dance events.

My grandmother and I visited Kingsbury Hall to see Celtic Woman. The venue is great and the staff is very kind. We had a backstage experience that got a little confusing (up the stairs and then back down the stairs and then back up the stairs and then outside) which took a toll on my grandma. But other than a tad but of disorganization we had an overall great time!

The Director of Beauty and the Beast needs to punch themself in the face for putting out such a terrible product. By no means am I criticizing the children performing but 3/4 of the dances had literally nothing to do with the storyline. Also, shame on Kingsbury Hall for marketing this as a theater performance when its nothing more than a childrens dance recital.

We were there for the Celtic Woman concert. They had set up some chairs right on front of my row so it made it difficult to see the performance. They allowed latecomers ( 20+ minutes) to interrupt the performance so they could find their seats, very disrupting. Not to mention disrespectful to the performers.

The Lower Lights Christmas concert was great. Probably will become a family tradition for us. The online tickets office was misleading in its offer. Stated that you could purchase the best available tickets, which I did. There were 3 different price ranges. I paid the highest of the available prices, but still was seated in the back rows of the balcony. I would not feel particularly irritated if it was a sold out show, but it wasnt. There were a dozen rows open closer to the stage. Not certain how the back row of the balcony is the best seat available.

Saw Thriller it was great and at times incredibly funny. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is no leg room. I am 6’3” and my knees were jammed into the seat in front of the entire time. If you are taller than me, be aware there in not much room for your legs.

Classic, clean, comfortable venue that takes you back to the time when all the best shows played in these types of theatres and where the balcony offers the best seats in the house. The staff really care about you being there and enjoy being there themselves. Only drawback was parking could be a challenge. I suggest valet if you must drive and taxi would be a snap since dropoff is close and controlled by police and attendants.
