Whilst me and the chaps were invoking the City of Salt with our flânerie we decided it would be apropos to whet our whistle. Unfortunately we made the mistake of selecting the Moose Lounge. Uggh.

I like the environment ...Clean trendy good music ...but is not longer called moose launge ...is called IBIZA ... ;) is complete fine with me !

Crowded and bartenders charge different prices but all in all great place to be for all ages 21+.I luv the music and the dancers.

Now that it’s, Ibiza it’s kinda lame. I felt so disrespected, multiple times by the staff. We couldn’t park in the open parking spot that had no sign- staff literally came running over and told us to move. They were letting certain people in free then charging others $10 cover fees for each person, the drinks were also pretty pricey. I’d pass and go somewhere else downtown.

Payed $10 cover for a not-happening party and the only place I got patted down for weapons. Lead to a sketchy vibe. Dirty bathrooms. Bouncers and bartenders were friendly though. Renaming the club looks like its not enough to save it.

This club is now called Ibiza, which is a little humorous because they don’t play EDM. If you’re looking for great EDM, this is not the place. If you are looking for just kinda good EDM, you might here some ok EDM once every 10 tracks. They claim to have “open format” essentially the DJs play the same R&B with occasional EDM music. This is the same music that the Moose Lounge played and it’s likely the same DJs. Basically, The Moose Lounge got a new name and a mini facelift. If you’re looking for amazing EDM in Salt Lake City, watch for headliners that come to town. They often play at venues like Sky SLC, The Complex, The Depot, Saltair, and Park City Live. Otherwise, Sky SLC is the best club to hear EDM on Thur- Sat nights.

We went on a Friday and had a lot of fun. The bar staff was very nice. Even though the place was packed, it was surprisingly easy to find parking. Place is pretty clean and had great music to dance to. Great vibe.

The club plays music at absurdly loud levels to make up for the fact that they don’t play good music. They book great names for their Friday gay shows, but the overall experience is very underwhelming and not worth the cover.Their music selection is almost entirely rap. While being great to listen to, it is difficult to dance to. If I wanted to just see a room of straight people grinding I’d just go to a straight club.If you’re looking for a fun LGBT night check out other bars- this is not the right place for you.

Petey Pablo is having a concert tonight and Smith tix say doors open at 8 on the actual ticket and we arrived at 8:20pm and doors weren’t open cause they’re obviously slacking. I genuinely love moose. It’s so fun. The lady at the door was rude as well. Thanks.

One of the better bars in the area. It has 3 stories: dancing, social bar, outdoor bar. With a good selection of beers/cocktails. If youre visiting from out of town go here for a good experience.

Moose Lounge has good music. Its always so packed though. If thats your thing, head to this place. Make sure to pregame if youre planning on drinking. Lines are ridiculous and the drinks are overly priced.

Good music and spacious but too crowded. Dress code needs to be revised. New cashiers needed, one of the girls who stamps or collects the money was telling one of the bouncers to make my friends pay them money to give us our coats (we already paid to hang them).

Beer selection is lacking, other than that, the club is fine and drinks are not too expensive. The DJ is really good. A good place for a fun time.

Jesus Christ, it was so ratchet and combative. You should see the way the crowd fights each other to get to the front of a $10 C-list performance on a Thursday night. People were using scantily clad women like they were melee weapons. I just imagine they go home after getting in a fight and say, Im allergic to drama. These guys were threatening to whoop my azz because I told them not to grab me.However, the people who were into it seemed to be enjoying themselves (despite the constant aggressive pushing?). Watch out for predators though. Seriously, the place was full of creeps.

This place is lame. The DJ is extremely wack. Has no knowledge on how to smoothly mix nor change the songs. He needs to learn from NEW YORK & FROM ATL DJS.....

Stay away from this place! I have went about 5 different times now. I was hoping the next time would be better then the last. NOPE. Toilets are always backed up and clogged. Over crowded dance floor. Almost a fight every night, I could go on. GHETTO.

Not safe... especially if youre a woman. The security are incompetent and unprofessional. They choked out one girl and left her in the street and then body slammed and beat up her friend after they were separated. When I tried to find the unconscious girls friend, the security interrupted my inquiry to say i dont know where shes at and walked away. I spent the majority of my night talking to police. Dont waste time or money there.

Owner is too dame cocky, and dont treat people with respect... Semisi is amazing as a host tho.

Fantastic experience. The VIP host Semisi is super cool and chill; shout out to him for the generous hospitality. The bar tenders are friendly, and one kindly gave me a drink on the house! Maybe this is common at good clubs, but it helped make my night awesome. Other than that, the drinks I ordered were all $5, even with mixers.Better music than Area 51 with familiar dance songs you grew up with on the radio, as well as contemporary amongst other songs.Lots of handsome men and pretty women who mostly were there to dance and have fun. I danced with one woman who was so gorgeous! (Im bi so...) She made my night. Wish I asked her name, and I would have liked to buy her a drink, even if she probably would not be interested in plus sized people. Oh well no biggie.Your eyes sting at the end of the night from hookah smoke, and it is a bit small so it gets very crowded late Saturday. The main thing that sucks is a lack of seats for people who didnt reserve them.Overall, its really cool. Definitely worth checking out at least once. Id probably go back after checking out other places too (Im inexperienced in club scenes, so Id like to see what other ones are like). Too bad I dont live in Salt Lake, which would mean I could go more often.

Only saw one moose the entire time I was there, but it did have a knuckle, so that was cool.

Decent place to hang out. I dont love the DJs I feel i could do better with premixed tunes. Floors are always sticky. Bar isnt bad they have friendly staff. Owner is pretty cool if you have any issues.

The only thing I like in this club is music but it is impossible to dance because there is no space. I used to like this club and go very often but it becomes trashy. No face or dress control. I understand that the owners want earn money but dont forget about prestige too. Even VIP is not really vip, everyone can seat in seat. They need a serious renewal. At some point another club will take over. Actually, Sky is already doing that

Floor upstairs is always sticky. Gets very crowded, and too loud to socialize. Womens bathroom is always filed with men on Friday nights. Drinks are a bit pricey, and the price changes depending who is tending bar. It is a good place to people watch.

Moose is the best club in SLC its not EDM, its actual good hip hop. It gets a little rachet but thats what makes it fun. Best club in SLC for sure

Dj sucks...doesnt know how to transition or keep a song playimg for more than 30 sec.. There are swinger events in this venue on gay nights. (just not my thing)

Zero stars.. the manager is a controling, power monger..Walked in on my friend in a locked stall and threw him out for talking on the phone. Not a well kept interior for what was being charged.

The Moose Lounge is good for what it is, and that is a club for clubbers. Get super drunk, dance to deafening music, and take someone home with you.

This place gets crazy fun after 1030pm on Sat. Free guestlist before 1030p via FB OR email. No where to really stand or sit because there is only one long bar and everything else is table service. However table aervice can be reserved from as low as $200 tonup to $500. Sections include around the dance floor to an upstairs wrap around section. Good music, lights and outdoor area. No drama but very diverse energetic crowd. It does get a lil overcrowded but its still a good time. They also have hookahs for about $40 or $50.

The music is very loud and difficult to dance with. We went on Friday to see a drag queen (Alyssa Edwards) perform and was very disappointed when she only performed for four minutes in a very poor performance. Will never return and regret paying $15 to see that performance. Additionally, while being gay night this club is certainly not resemblant of the SLC LGBTQ+ scene.

Awesome place to be and be seen at .... Every week a new theme witch keeps it the hottest place to be at on Fridays and Saturdays ... Every time Id come into Utah ( lived in Washington state ) Id go to the moose and its an awesome place to meet new ppl and dance youre asses off ...

I paid 10$ to dance till 2am not to get kicked out at 1:30.

The orientation is mixed, the staff friendly, the crowd is nice, drinks wet, outdors a nice break after dancig, this club is a great spot for a FUN night out.

Awesom Nightclub! Fridays are great...but Saturday gets really busy and the Djs are really good. They play Top 40 and Hip Hop. Arrive early because the line get long after 1030

I wish there was a zero star rating.... If you are thinking of coming here, back track that thought, You would have a better time watching some Netflix.

One of the hottest night clubs in salt lake city, dont let the lounge part of the name fool you, its very much a dance club and bar. Saturday nights get packed so come early, a line usually forms about 11pm. The resident dj plays hip hop and dance but they sometimes have guess djs fly in and spin.So many hot girls, have been there on quite a few weekends and Theres always a bunch, not to mention the waitresses are sextremely AF. And if it gets packed early, they only let girls in, so guys come early or get ready to pay more at the door.They usually offer vip parking for 10 on Saturdays, or just park anywhere you can find a spot. I hear they dont tow, so long as you dont park in the middle of the lot.Love the staff there, Semis is the VIP guy, so talk to him about being on the list so you can avoid the door charge.
