I dont know how this place stays in business but Im glad it does. Everytime I walk in, theres like 10 people total. Including the awesome staff. Good thing 9 out of those 10 are usually awesome people. Cheap drinks, good jukebox and always plenty of space to stretch and not feel claustrophobic. Bring cash though, No cards accepted.

The best kept secret in the valley. Theres nothing flashy or special about this place at all. Its a neighborhood bar. You can actually have a conversation, meet nice locals and it wont cost you much. Bring cash!!!

***Cash Only***I am a fan of the Bongo Lounge. If you are looking for a spot to grab a cheap drink, this is it. The Beer is cold and the Liqour selection is sufficient. Keep in mind this is a Regulars type bar, so the patrons will typically wonder who you are. However I have never found any of them to be rude. The wait staff runs this place on point and will get you a drink quick. Dont forget your cash!

Friendly dive bar in an area that doesnt have very many bars. The staff and the regulars are fun and friendly. Plenty of draft beer options to satisfy most palettes and they serve liquor as well. Cheers!

Love the bongo! The drinks are cheap, the bar is dark, the music isnt too loud, and theres always space to sit. Theres only one bartender at a time, it seems, so it can be difficult if its kind of busy. This bar might be the closest thing to Cheers youre gonna find in Salt Lake (if you go there enough for them to learn your name). Make sure you bring cash, because its a cash-only establishment.

This has been my watering hole for over 20 years. Best place to get a stein, sit and chill. The wild crowd will show up at any given moment, but for the most part, you wont find a better place to rest your dogs after work.The prices....cant be beat

The bartender JON, IS THE BEST BARTENDER IN UTAH. HE BY FAR IS THE CUTEST, FASTEST, AND TREATS EVERYONE LIKE ROYALTY. I THINK HE CAME WITH THE BAR.

I dropped in on a Monday evening tired, thirsty and it took awhile for the bartender to take my order. He says that it was cash only, I said no worries and ordered a stein of bud and took a seat off by myself. There were several patrons and they were listening to music and one of them would ask what song each of them wanted played and this made everyone feel relaxed and it turned out to be a good time at Bongos lounge. If you dont believe me then check it out for yourself.
