Really fun park. A lot of fun stuff for small children. Has a walking path and basketball court for older kids.

Great place for a small birthday party! Lots of equipment to play on, and toom to run off the sugar high! Beautiful scenery and LOTS of shade!

First time here, nice, quiet neighborhood park.No shade over play area so the slides were quite hot at 11 am in the morning on a sunny day below 70 degrees in June, and thats why I only gave it 3 stars.Small play structure with the hot slides are for ages 2-5.Id recommend most of the other play structures for children ages 5 to 10.There is one porta potty at the park. A drinking fountain, with a lower spout for dogs. Several picnic tables.A large field to play sports.Nice sidewalk to take a walk or ride scooters and bikes.

Dogs and I walk in the park daily. It is our neighborhood park. I love it. My wish would be to cement the gravel path and to build a shelter area. The park is well used.Thank you.

This park is beautiful! A great place for parents to relax and children to play. The only suggestion I could make for improvement, make a parking lot. There was very limited parking.

The children park is decent and clean. It’s not as huge but enough for a small group of children to play in. Would be nice if the basketball court was set up like a full on court, double rim and half court on opposite sides.

I definitely love taking my kids here and I love walking around the park for exercise.

Lots of shade,picnic tables and has basket ball court! Play area is geared more towards 1-6 age Id say ..my son loved it

Very cool park, plenty of room for activities of any sort, and has street parking. just wish they kept up on the grass a bit more.

This a nice newer park in NE Salem. Always like taking my kids here. There are plenty of play structures for kids for all ages, seating for people, and plenty of space. There is a basketball court to the north. The neighborhood is great and quiet. Parking may at times be limited depending on good weather.

Clean playground open and feels safe

Love this neighborhood park. Great rides, lovely lawns, pretty trees. Maintenance team and design group did an excellent job. I would ad another doggie bags on entrance on other side And another trash can close to entrance. Otherwise, we have to RUN all the way to other side of park so my dog can relieve herself and have bags! Not always an easy feat!

Hoodview park is a small uncrowded park that is easily accessible from NE Salem. It has a water feature the kids can use in the summer as well as a baketball court. It has picnic tables and a playground for the kids. I love it because it is family friendly!

Nice open areas and plenty of trees for shade. Playground is nice with rubber flooring, 2 half court basketball hoops, portapotty, well groomed grounds with some rolling hills. No parking lot, handful of street side spots.

This park is awesome! I think it may just be the best park in the North Salem area.

Very nice park. My kiddos love the rock climbing play structure!

It was great when it was first opened however gangs have graffitied on the equipment and other pieces are broken, good to come on Saturday but not at night.

Beautiful park.

We watched this park get built several years ago. It has been a pleasure to raise our kids next to since it is in easy walking distance. Modern play structures are good fun.2018 edit:We have moved away from this area due to increasing violence. Stabbings on this park are becoming more common. Avoid. Sad.

The park is wonderful but the parking could use some rethinking pull out onto that busy road is soo stressful

A man was beaten at this park and left for dead four days ago. He is in a coma now and is fighting for his life. Doesnt seem like a safe place to go.
