I go there weekly for my counseling sessions it is a beautiful building if youve never ever been in it its got a lot of history if you somebody that actually went to school at Garfield it would be a really wonderful place to go cuz Im every single floor there are pictures of class members and classes and with teachers that used to go to the school there so go in and enjoy it is a beautiful place

This is a great historical building you have to go in and take a look at the historical pictures

Its now an office building, but from grades 1-4 that was my school. Closed in 73 or 74. Go in, and from bottom floor top, there are class pictures, from 190? On.

Very interesting. Curators have done an awesome job of putting the museum together. Could have spent all day there. Well worth the stop.

I go weekly to my therapist but in five year I went to each floor looking at all the pictures on the.walls there at garfield with every class with the teachers if you know of someone that attended class there or even worked there you truly would enjoy the history that had been preserved for us to enjoy.

What can I say, but this old school has been dear to my heart. Glad this piece of history is preserved in Salem.
