Went to a baby shower in the clubhouse. Nice facility for the tenants. My cousin really likes living there
My grandparents have lived in this park for 25 years. It is beautiful, quite and has tons of amenities. So many great memories there.
Paradise Island is the best 55+ community. There have been a few other reviews posted here that said space rent was high and also no longer family owned. I can assure you they were speaking of Lakeside village next door on the south side of Paradise. Still a family owned operation that is very much involved with the management. There are also plenty of yard fences. Having looked at most of the 55+ communities in the area, this one is easy to fall in love with.
Such a cute park very well kept!
Next door to my home in Lakeside Village manufactured homes site, Paradise Island Park is also made up of manufactured homes. Their rent is about $200 less a month and amenities are similar to superior. Paradise homeowners appreciate their management and are proud of their Park.
Neet community and super friendly staff. Beautiful clubhouse. No regrets here!
I was there showing a place to a client. We had to meet with the sales manager to view a place. I asked her why the space rent was so high. Her reply was, were the only park that has a pool. Which is not true at all. I know of at leat 2 parks in the Salem area that has the same amenities as they do. Are they as nice, maybe not but dont claim to be the only park with a pool. Other than that, the grounds were nice and clean. Theyre getting ready to add a bunch more manufactured homes.
Love my neighbors, love my park. Nice atmosphere and a great senior community. Lots of perks here and yes there are rules but if you dont agree with them you can choose not to move here. Rules keep the park attractive and make it a special, highly desirable place to live. Lots of activities always happening with huge, clean, attractive facilities. Management truly knows and cares for their residents. The men who tend to the grounds and repairs do a wonderful job and the office staff are always kind and courteous.
Really close to Walmart
Well kept. Good neighbors
Great retirement place. Love the community my Great Uncle one of my greatest heroes
This is very nice neighborhood.
Very good places
Beautiful park, lots of amenities!!
This is a 55 and older community. Its beautiful and the ground people are super helpful. They even mow tenents lawn for them.
This is a neighborhood that is friendly and helpful. The owners and office staff make sure that the Park meets the highest of standards. We love it here.
Great. Drs there
This is a nice place to live..love the pool and other amenities (nice Creek, tv room with fireplace and dining tables, workout room, hot tub, pool table, restroom, playground, and separate kid/teen room) always spotless and quiet. Super cozy and whenever I have gone inside the club house its empty and relaxing.Although I dont actually live here in the park, Ive stayed at my husbands grandmothers house for over a year & am surprised at the price per space that is charged. She has lived in the park for 40+ years (it is NOT a seniors only park) and her rent for just the space (her paid off house is on) went from $40 - $750 per month. It was owned locally but sold to a California corporation at which time the rent spiked every year. Its terrible for her because she cannot move her house which she has paid off, but she is stuck paying the high rental rates and will be until she decides to forfeit her home or find a buyer.Ive only encountered 1 EXTREMELY rude employee named Roger who humiliated me at the pool one day kicking me out due to my name not being on file. Their policy is no company can use the amenities without a home owner chaperoning. My 80+ yr old grandmother doesnt want to babysit me at the pool. What if people have company staying the weekend and want their guests to feel at home and use the high priced amenities they pay monthly for without their having to watch!?! I suppose I understand to some degree but I am still someones guest in the park and no body would like a guest to be treated in that way. Period.
Nice PLACE!!
My grandparents LOVE living here. The community has been absolutely wonderful
Nice place
Very snooty and judgemental management. They look at residents, judge and categorize them by stereotype, then treat them according to those stereotypes. They are also very strict and controlling of each tenants lot, making unrealustic rules about how their yards should look. They made everyone take down their fences for instance, no matter how good they looked or new they were. They appear to be trying to make all trailers and yards look alike, right down to the color of the paint they use. They are trying too hard in all the wrong areas. Just my opinion.
Nice walks and a good little fishing pond for kids.
Very enjoyable. Would recomend
