Really considering buying here!

As a resident homeowner, I find I share others’ reviews of management. Management means well, but uses a patriarchal style, not reaching out to communicate with homeowners, not asking for constructive ideas and for taking actions affecting homeowners without consulting homeowners. The residential environment is sterile compared to the next-door facility. So much potential, but we need a leader/manager, not a father.

Seemed like a nice neighborhood, was visiting so I cant speak for living there. But I will say they have additional parking built in, which I rarely see at Mobil home parks

Very nice property! I love that they are working on making the neighborhood family-friendly and working to provide more for the residents. I look forward to these changes, but even now its pretty nice. The manager and staff hold events and parties occasionally throughout the year for residents and their families to enjoy, which I think is really awesome.Long story short, better than apartment living and living here is similar to suburb. but Id say living here in Lakeside is better than living in the suburbs.To the friendly staff there at Lakeside: Thank you for being awesome. :)

Lot of old homes but some nice ones for sale very clean but not much of a yard if you have a dog that would want a back yard.

It would be nice if they told you that you need to make an appointment for the weekend showing. We drove into town just to be given a package to look thru and then get an appointment for 2 weeks from today just to be shown a home

In a nutshell: DONT LIVE HERE! Sure nice amenities. But rent way too high. Drainage problems. Flooding puddles in driveways. Managment says they will fix things but no. I was going to buy a new home while living there. Started paper work, manager left, paper work disappeared.Many years NO MANAGEMENT. Current manager not very good.Glad I sold and moved out.

I love this place!I have 3 kids and the fact that theres a fenced park here is great! Also theres the work out room for mommy, pool table room and a river that my kids and I love going to and finding pretty rocks at.. Overall I find it to be a peaceful, and great place. Im giving it 5 stars and would like to say thank you to the chill tenants, awesome staff and great manager! =]

A few tenants there have told me that rent goes up EVERY year. The five star reviews are from bots.

The staff and management have done everything in their power to take care of my family and I. The park has amenities available that dont exist anywhere else in Salem and our neighbors are awesome. If you are looking for a safe and affordable place to live in Salem I highly recommend lakeside village.

Great staff. Events are frequent. Tons of anemities such as pool, hot tub, rec center, private playground and youth center with youth center staff. My kids always have something cool to do here with their friends.There is a park made lake with walking paths and streams its very relaxing to come outside and walk around.I have lived here a few years and I have owned one other manufactured home in king city also on Bull Mtn. I can say first hand other manufactured home parks are not as amazing as this one and dullen in comparison. We have always been treated warmly and staff goes out of their way to help others. That is a 5 star in my book.

Seems like management responses are defensive instead of looking into the matter and resolving professionally.

I have lived here along time and keep my house and yard up. I support management asking people to get their homes and yards cleaned up take some pride in where you liveOthers dont want to look at your place you have not cleaned for years itsEmbarrassing thanks everyone.

I would love feedback from the owners. They say managment has an open door policy huh???? Thats a joke and a lie. Went today to talk to managers and they stood up and walked away from me. Since 0 stars is not an option i say 1 star. This place is a joke. Staff is always runnin around like chickens with there heads cut off... Manager is very very rude, walks away in the middle of a conversation... if you have kids.... dont live here unless they can defend themselves from the staffs children. All in all i been here 9 years and its geeting worse. Staff members allow there kids to be little snot nosed punks. I will be contacting the police and making a report against cal am workers today.Edit: since visiting the office in an attemt to resolve the issue a false police report has been filled against me and i was arrested on a cite and release harrasment charge. Wow some people ....timber should not be a manager at all.

Cal-Am has been the management company for this once great park for over 25 years and have proceeded to run it into the ground with neglect, excessive rent increases, dismal on-site management, refusing to employ adequate staff while wasting money on non essential improvements. The amenities rarely work, the sidewalks are dangerous, the artificial stream is not maintained and the berm is a constant flood risk. In the floods of 1996, management did nothing to evacuate residents and allowed elderly and disabled to be trapped in their homes. Run. Run fast and hard away from this Cam-Am perpetual, expensive disaster.

I think this place is a nice family oriented place to live..its nice and quiet there...nice place to live..

I live here I really dont like it the people are nice but the owner is money hungry and messing up the park it used to have kids playing every day and a youth center open to people but it seams like they want the people with the old homes out to take the house down sue and put a nicer house in the old house spot they tried everything to get my friend out and when they did they bult locked the door so he couldnt get most of his valuables out

I like it. I dont live there, but my ex works there, the pool is cool not cold, pool tables inside, a kick back area to watch tv, staff is friendly, bathrooms throughout building, a spa, picnic area, & smoking area.

This park was really nice at one point in time... We have resently got new management tho and he wants to fix something that is not broke.. What I mean is management has just went around to everyones houses and took pictures of the outside and now proceeds to tell everyone they have to take down there fence that has been there for years and it doesnt look bad or anything.. And they say no AC in your windows anymore thats a joke do they realize its about to be 100 degrees outside... And they say we have to paint are homes with a approved park color maybe they dont realize that most people here are on a small income... I love this park it is nice but I hope they look at it from the homeowners view and realize they are asking a lot to be done in 30 days.. I can see them asking to clean the clutter outside of peoples places but to pretty much make us remodel are homes is a little out of line in my apinon.. But like I said it is a nice place to live I would recommend it to anyone....

The clubhouse here is like a floating oasis. Great community with new homes available at affordable prices.
