Always a favorite place to go with my grandkids. Had a beautifully peaceful and calming day with my daughter and two of my grandsons. So beautiful. Totally enjoyed myself.

Best park at roswell new mexico clean and very beautiful I love seeing the turtles and the grass is comfortable to lay on no pokey thorns in sight and if you have been to the other parks you would understand what I mean

I went ahead and changed my review from a 3 to a 4. Went to the pond today and checked it out and to my surprise there were quite a few fish . It was a wonderful sight to see i only wish that my camera were better so you could enjoy these pictures a little bit better. But just go visit and enjoy as i did PlZ!!!

Nice park in the city of Rowell to walk early or check out small fish swimming in the pond. Lots of green and adjacent to a golf course with fountains in the pond. No swimming pool. Tennis, basketball, and horseshoe options, a few picnic areas too!

We recently had our wedding at the sunken gardens at cahoon park. The upkeep is amazing, and it us so beautiful when the flowers bloom. If you need a place to Zen out a bit, this is it. Fish, turtles, fountains, and the little waterfall all packed into this beautiful place is well worth the visit. It might be a small oasis in the middle of the busy city, but it is gorgeous!

Sad that it is overgrown and poorly maintained. I understand funding is gone but what about civic organizations or clubs to help bring back one of the premier parks of Roswell.

There is shade trees and tables to enjoy a outside meal.

I used to visit this park when I was a child and it was much nicer then. There was even a public swimming pool year. Now It seems that the city has let this park go downhill. such a shame

Roswell step up their park game. The park was filled with trash, with basically nowhere to go other than a minimal path lined with alcohol bottles and chip bags. The park just kind of feels eerie, as if it were a shadow of its former self; maybe remove the abandoned, desolate pool? It would be nice if that immense golf course right next to it could be turned into a park so more individuals can enjoy the nature rather than the few that play golf.

Comfortable n pleasing park great for a meeting place. Plenty of open grassy areas n multiple playgrounds.

4 stars because it is a nice park even though the city has not done much to update the equipment or the facilities.If you are looking for a place to just be outside with family and friends this is a really good option.Tennis and basketball courts are available as well as some wide open spaces for family football or soccer. I wouldnt recommend baseball or golf as there are homes in every direction around the perimeter (broken windows are frowned upon). Also, the bike trail through Roswell runs the length of the park from East to West with some tranquil views along the way.

This is a great park!! If you come here you will not be sorry!!! Big landscape for fun play, small sections of play ground equipment, great bike trail!! And just such a fun afternoon can be had at this quaint, nice little park!!

Nice little place we parked to have lunch. The water garden was really peaceful.

Had a nice lunch with my sister from Black Betty. It was calm and soothing, and we enjoyed our lunch. The temps were not too hot, and the old tree gave us some gr8 shade.

Large park thats very well maintained. We had lunch here and was enjoyable. They have a pond area thats well designed. The pool was closed so I dont have any information to comment about it.

Nice park. Two complaints. One, there was only two swings. One baby swing, and one regular swing. This doesnt give much children a chance to swing. Secondly, there isnt any shade, exempting the trees.

The running trail is gorgeous. Sidewalks need attending to, but they are very runable/hikeable/rollable.

Its nice to walk through but thats about it.

A great place to experience. The playground betweenWashington and Union is popular with kids. Great for BBQ S. and birthday parties. Take the kids after school or on the weekends to run off some of that energy. The pond is also fun to walk through. Too bad the pool has seen its last days but certainly provided many people fun over the years. Also great walking, running or bike trail. Kids love to go there to explore

Great park with trails and swings. Had a pool but closed. Nice pond to take pictures. River runs through some times. Lots of tables for partys.

Very nice park. Usually quite clean and safe. There are many trees for shade and a nice fountain area. There us a walking trail that goes throughout the park and lots of recreational areas
