This park has everything I need for my family. We just discovered it after joining the creative play program offered by Roswell parks and recreation. My 3 year old thinks he is king of the playground when we visit and wants to show off to his baby brother and anyone around.
My son had a soccer game there and the field was in shape with coverings for both teams for the players and coaches on the side. The bleachers were a little low to have a clear view of the field causing most fans to have to stand behind the fence. My son enjoyed playing on the field but the fan experience was not as good.
Many ball fields. Trails. Swimming pool. Great play structure. Shelters with picnic tables.
Well maintained Park in the heart of Roswell. It can get busy with all the sports going on, but there is a good walking and running trails. Plus there is a great play ground for the kiddos.
Lots of trees and something for everyone. I meet friends there to eat lunch and walk several times around the lake. They also have swimming pools, ball fields, tennis courts. Beautifully maintained!
This is big park in Roswell. Awesome walking paths. Multiple baseball and football fields. The football fields are turf. Fields get hot but they are a good quality. Nice outdoor pool and solid indoor basketball. Plenty of tennis courts. Only downside is they dont have outside basketball courts.
The prefect park for the kids and I. While my child does her gymnastics I walk around the scenic trails.
Lovely short walk around the park. There are always other people there.
We have compared the park systems everywhere weve lived to the Roswell Area Parks and have yet to find its equal.
Great place for a walk, moderate inclines and shady trails. Favorite place to get some exercise.
Nice and well kept park. We went there to walk the trails and they were really good.
Beautiful park. It was my first time there. My husband had been here when he was younger, so he wanted to show me the trail. Loved it.
Pleasant pRk in the heart of Roswell. Playgrounds have recently renovated.
Well maintained trail thats a little over a mile. It has a nice big playground as well as a smaller one that was just added. There are quite a few fields and pavilions available too.
Good for running and walking. Nice playgrounds. I was there to walk. Well maintained. Saw all twelve tennis courts in use by seniors. Very cute. Shady soft trail 80% Id guess. The trails were confusing but its a loop so I did it by time, not the mile markers. Its usually busy so I feel safe to walk here.
Great complex for all the sports. Awesome community space
Great atmosphere, good trails great place to take the family
Really? A zip line? AWESOME!
I play a lot of tennis here, but the ball fields look to be in great shape.I do wish they would replace the lights at the tennis courts with some LED lighting. The lights are just not bright enough. I do love there $3 per hour tennis time and the fact that you can now book and pay for your tennis court on-line. That was a huge help.
Beautiful park with a mini workout station and cool playground that brings out my inner child
Its been updated for all ages to enjoy. Best of all, I can walk in the rain bc the path isnt mud
We love this park. The kids are always making new friends here.
The chef Brandon is great. Good food and good people
Great park with every type of athletic field/court available to use and an extensive trail system for walking and running.
Fun little trail for walk and 4th july weekend was packed but every one was chill.
Great park for Grandsons to play
Lovely place to go for a walk. I like that it doesnt close at dark - my schedule can get funky and having the option to come later in the day is nice.
Beautifully kept and very safe
Messy store. Merchandise all over the aisles causing traffic jams. Long checkout lines. Rude employees.
Great park for the kids!
Very big park great for getting your 30 minutes of exercise!
Awesome local park.
I love this pool. Clean, friendly and I love the Roswell discount
Multiple play structures available, along with a bathroom and pavilion for parties or meals.
I play soccer here constantly and used to work here as an employee, maintenance staff is friendly as well as the parks Managers.
Good little park with trail. Its fun walk during evening.
This is a great place to walk.Right now, I dont see any patrons wearing masks.
Conveniently located in Roswell GA. Easy to access from highway 92 and Woodstock Road. The park has many attractions to offer the public. You can rent rooms in the park building to host your private event, but the rental fees are pricey. For an economical option, you can rent the pavilions to host your event and enjoy the outdoors. I recommend pavilion #1 or pavilion #2 because they are close to the play ground for the kids and also close to the restrooms. Enjoy.
Great facilities! Looks much nicer in the day rather than at night when I normally visit for practices.
Cute little park with pond and nice quarter mile path around. Nicely maintained and pretty amenities. This access point links to the larger park trails and more community activities.
Three playgrounds give kids so much variety. One is pretty wet from all the recent rain, but the other two are plenty dry!
For a park, its pretty huge. Tons of walking trails, sports fields and playground space.
Phenomenal facility. Giant swimming pool, indoor gymnastics. They have numerous classes you can take here and in area parks. Blacksmithing, archery, and a whole bunch more youd never think were available. Baseball fields, basketball courts, hiking trails, parking everywhere. Just a one stop shop.
Great park and very clean
Great park. Playgrounds, walking trails, athletic fields of every variety, a lake where you can fish. This park is always busy. Clean bathrooms. Covered picnic tables, too.
I really like this playground (there are other aspects of the park but I am focusing on the playground). Its got three or four sections, a big kid area with tall tunnel slides and a toddler area thats fenced in. The other areas are multi use and there are tables and shelters and a walking path.I went at the hottest part of the days and there were still some parts the kids could play on that were in shade.Definitely worth a trip.
Nice and clean. Seemed like new turf. Def recommend.
Great park! Lots to do to keep adults and children happy between the ballfields, playgrounds and walking paths.
This park is very nice I recently visited to help my friend finish his Eagle Scout project. He put up new signs along the walking trails to help people to identify the different types of trees.
Roswell Recreation & Parks are reason enough to live in Roswell! Roswell Area Park offers so many programs for adults and children that youll have a hard time deciding what to do. The trails here are great for a walk or run, and they have brand new exercise stations to do bodyweight resistance workouts. The pool is very nice, although it can get crowded during the week when the local camps bus in kids. The only time Id say to avoid the park is when they host sports tournaments, as the attendees often camp out on the trails and crowd things.
Great place to sit and look at the water while eating lunch but its too really crowd and I cant consentrate in my own business.
One of our favorite parks in the area!Multiple choices of playgrounds and a beautiful tree canopy to keep everything shaded. Walking trails that are heavily populated which is great if you’re afraid of walking solo. You’ll see a lot of friendly dogs and their owners on the trails too.Their recreation program has lots of choices for kids and adults alike. My toddler does gymnastics here and loves it. Reasonable prices for tuition.
I love living in Roswell and the incredible parks, trails, and recreational facilities available to residents.
The rules at the park say wear.a.face cover in the park. I only know one person who wore a mask and it was me. The officials do not care about their own rules and seem to care little about the pandemic!
Beautiful park with ample fields. Plenty trails and wraps around a small pond.
Really big, really nice recreation facility. We only visit for the gymnastics gym, but this place is really nice. It looks like there is something for everyone. The park is wide open and laid out nice. If you are in the area and like outdoors, this place has something for everyone. Check it out
The Roswell Area Park has a great to trail for jogging or walking the dogs. Play grounds for the little ones, sports being played, at Roswell Art About Town pieces. Its a wonderful spot to relax or get a couple miles in
It was very fun for the kids! We attended a birthday party here and I thought the layout was great. There were several playgrounds, one with a baby/toddler area that is fenced in. Plenty of shade. Did not use the facilities, so not sure about those.
Roswell Area Park or RAP as we call it is a great park for a short circular walk of about 1.5 miles. You will likely see tennis players, soccer players, maybe baseball players, people fishing at the pond and just once we saw a family of otters too in the creek which you cross twice en route. Generally flat but a few short hills, no bikes allowed.
Great place to hang out with friends of family. Usually quite quiet. Great place to exercise and has great facilities such as the well kept pool and basketball court.
Beautifully maintained with lots to do.
Very large. Great trails. Very quiet and peaceful.
The pool here is very nice. Its quite large.
Great doesnt have basketball court though
Very nice and shady! My kiddos love their big playground
Weird field and has a dugout below the stadium
Very friendly Park to go for a run, play ball or swim at the swimming pool. The park is always clean and well maintained. It is also very easy to get to and to exit.
Very nice park. Great fields and clean facilities
Great park! Lots of things to do, large playgrounds and well kept.
Very good place for walking. Great trails. Lots of parking.
I like to walk and watch the wildlife with my wife and son. We love the turtles!
Well maintained 1.5mi trail and a large number of ball fields. There is a water fountain on the trail as well.
Very nice park with different sports fields and trails to walk or run.
Great place for a walk with a lake to enjoy.
Alway a beautiful view makes walking enjoyable
Wonderfully kept up, multiple football, soccer and lacrosse fields, tennis court, this park has everything!
Very peaceful and beautiful during my morning walk.
The kids LOVE this park, and the walking trail that wraps around gives me a chance to get out and stretch my legs without having the kids go nuts. They finally fixed the gate on the little kid playground as well so my toddlers can run free without worrying that theyll slip off. And the updated restrooms in the playground area is a big plus.
Great park! There are 4 separate playgrounds! Giant tunnel slides on one of them. Very well designed!
The park is a wonderful place for the community, lots of activities and options, for the Casual visit the park offers a nice 2 mile walking or jogging Trail, a small pond suitable for throwing rocks and sticks in, (especially if you are a child!) and several play structures, including an age-appropriate structure for small children that is fenced in and gated. The new outdoor workout equipment seems a bit out of place for a Suburban Park, but I have no doubt there will be many people who enjoy it!
Really nice turf fields with lights lined for several sports. One has stands built into the hillside that you can put you own large folding chairs on. And it has an announcers both and scoreboard. Thei is another field next to that one and a third a bit down the road. They also have some natural grass as fields too. All of them have lights.
Enjoyed the pickup soccer game with a great bunch of guys from Caribbean, African, South and North American plus European countries.
Oh I absolutely loved it! Everything was so nice! It was all white people though, lol the only black thing I saw in that park was me and a dog... lol so I just felt slightly out of place, then felt more out of place when some of the bad looking older white men started giving me nasty looks.. I did have corn rolls and a hoodie on but still.. the regular white men didnt do me like that. Also make sure you have mosquito repellant of your gonna b going around 6-7pm! Thats really why I left
This park has so many things to do there. From many playgrounds to baseball fields and an aquatic center for water sports. Lots of parking.
The pool is awesome. Summer pass is $80 for a single person and the pool is super clean and lots of chairs
Been eating there for years. Good food. Good service. Like going to grandmas house for dinner!!
This place is great. A really nice park. We attended a lacrosse tournament here and had 11 fields going at once! I dont know of any other place where someone could pull that off. Turf infield in the baseball diamonds, restroom facilities, walking trails, exercise equipment, concession stands, it has everything. Parking could be better but there were probably more lacrosse sticks in this park today than are left in the rest of Georgia. I dont know how many people were there for sure, but the parking filled up quickly.
