Good store friendly staff. This rating is for club repair/regrip division. The repairs take a couple days which is forgivable but I cant help but notice my grips are somewhat loose and dont seem like they put enough glue on there
I drove an hour and a half to buy a set of irons from your Roseville, Calif. store. I was told if I brought a club into store, a rep. would check my swing/speed etc. and based on that, direct me to clubs that would match my swing/speed. The rep told me, and I quote, “We aren’t going to give you a free lesson.” According a “manager” I spoke to over the phone after I left, “It was a misunderstanding.” Not, come back in and we’ll make sure you get what need... your store is obviously doing well, and reps can pick and choose when they actually want to “help” someone...

My wife and I just bought some items at your store. Although the selection is always the best and the prices competitive, your store employees really need some customer service training. Besides lacking a customer friendly personality, they need to show some enthusiasm for their job. Retail is a hard business and good employees can make or break a business. Show some interest in the customer and keep checking up on them to see if they need more help or if you can answer any questions. We left the store feeling unappreciated and a burden to the employees. Just consider some sales training. Also, a smile would help.
The service is terrible, they badger you to find out if youre going to spend money. Easily the worst golf Galaxy I have ever been to. I have no idea how they are still in business

Rob was able to repair my 3 wood within about 30 minutes and saved me $$$$. Without his help, I would have had to send it off and pay for a new shaft and grip. They were welcoming and had great service. Thanks!
A very hit or miss experience as others have mentioned. I bought clubs that they didnt have in store so we had to order them. They offered to do a fitting for me since I got clubs, sure I said. All it entailed was putting the tape markers on the club face to see where I hit the ball. After 3-4 days I got an alert on eBay for a great deal for the same set. I called the store to see if by chance they got the clubs yet, they didnt and said they havent shipped so I ordered them with the intention of returning the clubs I ordered in store (given I havent received them yet).I went in today to get a refund and I was met with the manager who seemed to have a rough day and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She was willing to price match the clubs but it wasnt a big deal to me since I already bought them on eBay. So I wanted to just get the refund and thats when she started saying she would appreciate it if I would put in the effort to call the seller. I mentioned they didnt have a phone number and it was past 5pm and would like to just get a refund.She mentioned I couldnt get a refund unless I had the clubs and she was going to check if they got them in. A few minutes later she brought them out. At this point I was frustrated I havent received a call all day since they were sitting in the back, and was told they were super busy all day. Given there were 5 staff members at the register when this was happening I have a hard time believing that they couldnt call a customer to let them know their clubs came in. I ended up getting charged $50 for the club fitting but I just wanted to get out and wasnt going to fight them.Going to Haggin Oaks next time.

I have been coming to golf galaxy for quite a long time now, and while i always get excellent service from neil, nathan, and and every one else, I just felt the need to throw out a extra special thanks to Steven M. Women Beware!!! TALL RED HEAD KID IS A PEEPING TOM. I went into open dressing room to try on clothes and while I was putting my clothes back on he knocked on the door. I loudly said,yes he waited a second and knocked again. This time i yelled yes. He unlocked door and opened it wide. He stood there for a second and said sorry and shut the door. Sorry? Really? Lucky for me I was fully dressed. What about next time though?
Depending on who is working there it can be a hit or miss experience. They price their used clubs sporadically from good deal to rip off and lacks consistency with its actual value and price. They have a few arrogant team members who will walk around aimlessly offering no help to the seasoned golf nut and will tend to lean towards the beginner. Overall its the only store around here and they have a good golf simulator that allows you to dial in your purchases.
We purchased a SkyCaddie Linx GPS Watch. When attempting to register the item with the manufacturer, the warranty expired. We called SkyCaddie and found out that it was already registered to someone else. They had the name and date of registration. The watch was SOLD AS NEW, not previously returned. I went back to Golf Galaxy to return the item. Neil, the Manager, was helping me. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and the fact that it was SOLD AS NEW. He said we dont discount electronics. I said what about a store credit. He said we dont do that either. and abruptly turned away! He was extremely rude and this is not first time we have had interactions with him. I returned the item and will purchase it somewhere else. He was very rude and should not manage a store if he is not pleasant and willing to help the customer. You are not the ONLY store in town. I live a big city and will take my business elsewhere.
Purchased a new driver shaft to be built for my Callaway Big Bertha Monday morning. Purchased a new shaft, new grip, and a Callaway tip. Was told that they wouldnt be able to build it same day, but could have it done first the in the morning. Not a problem, I didnt need it until Friday morning, and giving the apoxy a few days to dry is perfect, as well as for the grip. So 7pm Thursday evening I return to pick up my new,( already paid for ) driver shaft. The repair/sales associate, after fumbling around behind the desk for a few minutes says he cant find it. I point to a cubby hole with a shaft, grip still in its bag, and Callaway tip also still in its bag, and ask if thats it. Sure enough, it was.Tag says youll be here to pick it up Friday morning he says. Yes, and it was supposed to be built on TUESDAY. Giving a full 48 hours of cure time so I can use it first thing FRIDAY morning. I asked if it would be magically completed by morning since they close in 2 hours. But of course, no one is there to build it.Asked for a refund since they appear to not have a club repairman on staff, and was givin static. If you cant do your job, at least give me back my money without it being torturous to you.
